Do We Crave Suffering?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, one strange thing about the world we live in, is that to question a person who has been caught in lie after lie, is very rude, but it is acceptable, nay, duty, to call a person who has been caught in the truth over and over, a liar. Examples abound, but what I am interested in is, why? Why is it that when a person, we all know in our hearts is lying, we are so loathe to call him or her a liar, but the default position for someone who has been proven to have told the truth, is that they are lying, unless proven otherwise? The consequences for humanity are deep and resounding. Economies have been gutted, entire races have been slaughtered, persecution of every sort has flowed from the lips of liars, connivers and outright psychopaths… that have ruled humanity since time immemorial.

Machiavelli tapped into this in his letter to the Medici clan. In that renowned work he states that if someone, even a persistent liar, constantly claims to be telling the truth, most people will go along, even when they know he is lying. Machiavelli used the example of Pope Alexander the VI, since he was a renowned and accomplished liar. In that piece Machiavelli wrote that a prince need not keep his word if doing so would put him at any disadvantage. Combining lies with bad faith, so psychopathic, but quite progressive. Nevertheless, why is it that such a system works so well, when it comes to ruling humanity… Or does it? Perhaps being a liar and conniver is not best for society but only for the liar.

In modern times both Clintons are renowned and adroit liars, yet to question their word is considered the epitome of rudeness. His lie under oath, and again to the public, that he didn’t have sex with that woman, Miss Lewinski, is both proven and notorious. Her lie that she had no idea she had wiped her server, like with a cloth, is also notorious and even laughable. Yet the media bends over backwards to listen intently, to what is most likely a lie, every time they open their mouths. We are supposed to believe everything they say without question. This has the effect of making everyone complicit in the lies, and become an accomplice with the liars, connivers and fraudsters. Which is also amazing to me, why would we take on a sin that we need not, for the benefit of a deceiver, who is deceiving us?

Trump, on the other hand, is proven to be telling the truth over and over, yet is called a liar. When Trump mentioned the rape problem in Sweden, the media went apoplectic over it, calling him a liar. Yet when they went to Sweden to prove him a liar, they had to quietly slink back without releasing a word of what they found. Even when their reporters were harassed, they refused to report it, because it proved Trump right. The Russian collusion hoax, that we spent 40 million dollars and 3 years of his Presidency trying to prove, is just another example of this. To this day, no matter how many times Trump is proven to be right, the default position is that he is lying, until proven truthful. Why is it that so many people think it rude to call a liar, a liar, but not give an honest man the same courtesy?

Now, there are glittering lies and ugly truths, that explains some of it, but not all. Kipling also spoke to the subject in verse in his Gods of the Copybook Heading. Explaining the phenomenon but not the reason behind it. Obviously, the reason the liar connives and commits fraud is for personal gain, but why do we go along? Some probably are so mired with their own lives they don’t have the energy to think it through and just go with convention, others might vote the way their parents and grandparents voted and that is good enough for them, while there may be some who nihilistically want humanity to suffer, and so don’t as much believe but abet. Maybe all these responses are sufficient to answer the question, but I worry it is some deep unconscious misery quotient we all have, living in our id… making us crave suffering by whatever means?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Language as a Political Weapon

Dear Friends,

It seems to me… the English language is a mysterious thing. Words pop into and out of existence like particles in quantum space. Others change meaning overnight. “Debunked” is just such a word. It used to mean a theory that was thoroughly investigated and proven not to be true, now it means… a democrat scandal they don’t want looked into. Very strange language, English. Other words have morphed overnight into their very opposite and no one seems to notice. I suppose that another quality of English is, that a small cabal of cultural elite can change it, to suit their political needs at a moment’s notice. I have to wonder though, that allowing a small cabal to change the meaning of words, create words and eliminate words at will, doesn’t in some way limit the utility of language itself?

Gravitas was a word that popped into existence and popped out exactly like particles are theorized to in the quantum vacuum. It materialized for a short time, served it’s purpose, then dematerialized just as quickly, seemingly never to be heard again… except in some arcane blog about the meaning and utility of language. Racist is a word that has morphed into it’s opposite. It used to be that a racist was someone who saw a person’s race as their primary attribute. Now it has evolved to mean a person who doesn’t see the race as the primary attribute of any human being. Strange thing that. People today who are clearly “not racists,” openly say that all white people are racists, which can only lead one to believe the word has reversed meaning.

This is a very powerful ability, the ability to change the language to suit one’s political needs. It gives the faction that wields such immense power a truly unfair advantage over any other faction. In the wrong hands such a super power could lower the lot of Mankind by a great degree. The people who wield it though, tell us they are benevolent, they would never use such a weapon to undermine the US Constitution. Like changing the meaning of extremist, who in times of old was a person who sought the destruction of our Constitution, or any of the Rights guaranteed under it… to mean someone who supports the US Constitution. Because the language has changed, now an extremist is someone who opposes the progressive platform, of fundamental change.

What if they are not benevolent but in fact psychopaths who change our language at will to suit their political exigencies? Now that would be diabolical. The implications should send a cold shiver down the spine of every rational human being. Let’s examine if this could be true. The power to change language lay primarily in the cultural transmission sources. Which, at first glance, would make it appear that the power is not used for political advantage, but as a fundamental force that churns in the subconscious of the culture. Except that every change in the meaning of a word, every new word and every word that is suppressed, serves the ends of the progressive faction… and indeed we find that the vast majority of the cultural elite identify as progressive.

That our language is manipulated for political purposes is not necessarily a bad thing, unless that manipulation serves the interests of a faction, and not the whole of society. What ends do the progressive faction put their super power, the ability to change our language at will, to? The examples I have already given might provide some insight. What end does changing the definition of “racist” serve? How does reversing the term “extremist” affect the nature and role of government? Why did “gravitas” pop into and out of existence so fast? Most importantly, does changing the meaning of “debunked,” further the cause of justice, or hinder it? Answering these questions will answer the bigger question. Does such a mighty morphing language serve communication… or a diabolical end?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Big Government and Big Corporations

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, a progressive might argue, we need regulations and big government to control corporations. Without big government riding roughshod over big corporations, the corporations would buy everything and make everyone their slaves. This argument sounds true enough, until you think about the nature of big corporations and big government. The one needs that other like we need air. Big government thrives on corporate graft, lobbying and regulatory capture while big corporations need government regulations to keep entrepreneurial wolves from snapping at their heels, as well as cronyism to make money without having to provide anything for it. The progressive might say that big corporations have no need of big government, but that claim ignores history.

The progressive might say that they came to become so powerful because of the lack of regulations. That lack allowed the Pareto distribution free reign to create robber barons and bone crushing poverty. I would respond that it was not a lack of regulations, that allowed them to become so powerful, it was the result of many factors coming together. The tacit backing of political forces that enabled them to crush their business foes, laws selectively applied, and yes, there needs to be laws prohibiting monopolies. The fact is, no matter how an economy is set up, there will be super rich and super poor… because of the Pareto distribution. Socialist nations are even more stratified. Instead of an economic elite or royalty, they have a political elite.

The Pareto distribution is a theory based on ideas by Vilfredo Pareto. He surmised that the distribution of anything in a complex system will be a long tailed curve. This applies to income distribution, the distribution of productivity in a company, to the work load of a sewer system. It is an elegant mathematical demonstration of why the world is as it is. It also shows that no matter what, there will always be a vast difference between the rich and the poor. Look at supposedly utilitarian societies such as North Korea, the former Soviet Union, present day China, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, etc… and in every case there is the Pareto distribution, but it is magnified, with a much smaller percent of the population controlling much more of the national product.

If a nation seeks to have a free economy and establish a meritocracy then monopoly cannot exist. I think both progressives and conservatives agree on this point. That monopoly is the antithesis of free markets. Monopolies stagnate and with them the economy stagnates. What is so enlightening about this idea, is that while conservatives and progressives agree that monopolies are bad, the government ignores the will of both progressives and conservatives on this point. Which calls into question the foundational premise of the progressive mantra, that big government is the only entity capable of controlling big corporations. It would appear that big government, far from discouraging monopolies and big corporations, instead nurtures and protects them and their monopolies.

Perhaps rather than tens of thousands of bureaucrats writing regulations to “control” big corporations, we had a small government that had laws against monopolies with clear definitions and solutions? What if instead of flattening the income curve with job killing regulations we allowed everyone to get ahead? What if we grew up and faced the facts some people will be rich and some will be poor, and to try to solve that insolvable problem we simply change the rich from those who merit it, on some level, to those who take it by political force. The Pareto distribution doesn’t change just the names of haves and have nots. We should look at it like adults, big corporations need big government as big government needs big corporations, and monopolies… but do we need either?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

We Have Achieved Arbitrary Rule

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, we have entered a time of arbitrary rule in the United States. It was a long time coming, but finally, to the joy of progressives across the fruited plain, we live under arbitrary rule. Laws are enforced depending on a person’s political favor, passed to protect the powerful and adjudicated to convert our republic into an Administrative state. Law has become a means to oppress rather than a means to justice. The problem with arbitrary rule though, is that no matter how much you agree with what the elite are doing with their unlimited power today, be wary, because you may not agree with what they do with it tomorrow, but you will have given them that power. Sadly, many people, (Progressives, Socialists and Marxists) don’t have the intellect to think it all the way through.

Favoring arbitrary rule was a reason someone was ostracized in ancient Greece. They understood that arbitrary rule was a means to arbitrary power, and many Athenians favored justice over tyranny. No matter how virtuous a person claims to be, unlimited power will corrupt them. Lord Acton said, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely.” Arbitrary rule is the definition of absolute power. In ancient Athens, democracy was a cherished facet of life. The people of Athens loved their freedom and personal political power, thus they were loathe to give it up to a would be despot, who favored arbitrary rule. Pericles, on the other hand, exploited the ostracism to create arbitrary rule for himself. Showing that even a people dedicated to protecting their freedom can be manipulated into loosing it.

Arbitrary rule can be very attractive. The would be tyrant claims he or she will use that power for such and such a good, and many ignorant people will joyously follow, because they are captured by the glittering lie, while at the same time, turning away from the ugly truth that is arbitrary rule. They are mesmerized by the glistening lie… arbitrary rule will solve all of humanity’s problems. The idea of arbitrary rule has got many people. As Jung said, “People do not have ideas, ideas have people,” arbitrary rule and the “good” that can be done by it, is just such an idea. It is lazy, yes, it is weak minded, yes, but you cannot argue that the idea that someone else can solve all your problems for you, is very attractive to many. Especially those who believe themselves incapable or oppressed.

History is unambiguous on the outcome of arbitrary rule. It always leads to tyranny and oppression, it never solves those problems. Oh, every tin potted dictator starts by claiming he will address the ancient evils done to a people, by giving him unlimited power he will right the wrongs, cure the sick, heal the environment and lower the sea level. When Obama came into office he said as much… now he was elected, the sea level would drop, the sick would get healthcare and the oppressed would find succor. Of course the opposite happened. Instead, Obama used the mechanism of government to oppress his political opponents, arbitrarily abusing his power, silencing people with the IRS, spying on them with the FBI, DOJ, and CIA, obliterated healthcare, as well as killed US citizens without trial.

The impeachment of Trump is the epitome of the use of arbitrary rule by progressives. Trump was denied any Right to post a defense in the House… against all precedent, but then again, it wouldn’t be arbitrary if it followed precedent would it? Trump is not even accused of breaking the law! Instead he is accused of “abuse of power” and “Obstruction of Congress,” both charges made up on the spot… arbitrarily, to undermine an national election and the will of the people, by a cabal of progressives, who are allowed arbitrary rule. Even as Trump as been arbitrarily hindered from performing his basic duties by a Judicial system controlled by the progressive faction. It cannot be denied the progressive faction wields arbitrary power in the US today, to our great detriment… perhaps we should address it?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Will History Repeat?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, when someone who has a history of violence, tells you they are going to do violence to your person, only a fool doesn’t take them seriously. History contains many ugly truths and repudiates all of the glistening lies we are supposed to believe. That is why we are so loathe to remember it… and is the reason it repeats so often. As in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king, the person who understands the past, is a prophet to the future. In most cases, when a great evil was done to a people, the evil doer announced it beforehand, but was laughed at, the truth was far too ugly to behold. Especially when a glittering lie caught the eye. Today history is repeating itself, or at least rhyming, we have politicians and their minions echoing the statements of the past, that resulted in so much suffering.

Bernie Sanders is arguably the front runner for the Democrat ticket today. Who knows what tomorrow brings, but we are given a hint by the Project Veritas video of a Sanders campaign operative. He says if Sanders doesn’t get the nomination, Milwaukee will burn. He openly claims the police will get the brunt of the anger and violence. When asked what they would do if Sanders won the Presidency, the Campaign aid said gulags would be set up to re-educate Trump supporters. Yes, breaking rocks for 10 hours a day will give Trump supporters an attitude adjustment. Teach them not to be Nazis. Said the 20 something child in a man’s body. Thus displaying his ignorance, arrogance, egoism and violent temperament. A carbon copy of Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Tamerlane and Pol Pot.

Elizabeth Warren, the used to be native American when it was expedient to get her a gig at Harvard, has come out as another full blown Marxist, er, socialist. The poor woman cannot tell the truth even when it benefits her. It must be hard to live life when your first intuition is to lie. Like when she was confronted by a voter who wondered why Warren sent her children to private school, but advocates for the hoi polloi to send our children to the failing government monopoly school system… Warren’s first impulse was to lie and claim she sent hers to public school. An easily verifiable lie. Yet she mostly got away with it because the unbiased media, an arm of the progressive faction, covers up for progressive faux pas. For all her faults, Warren, if elected, will accept her role as a face for the Administrative State.

Virginia today is an example of what the democrats under the stern tutelage of the progressive faction will inflict upon the United States, if they regain the Presidency, House and Senate. The open attack on the US Constitutional Right to keep and bare arms, along with the draconian punishments for law enforcement that refuse to follow their unconstitutional orders, removes the mask altogether. Showing the hideous visage that lay underneath. The black face governor of Virginia has openly threatened the citizens, that seek to stage a peaceful open carry protest, to protest the unconstitutional usurpations of the progressive faction in Virginia, with violence. Very progressive. We will have to wait to see how this plays out but rest assured, the same playbook will be used across the nation should they get power.

If we look at history through the lens of the rhetoric, actions and aims of the democrats this election cycle, the landscape is littered with ugly truths. Lenin said largely what Sanders says, and the 70 year slaughter that followed is the stuff of horror films. Hitler had the same arrogance, ego and violent temperament as that Sanders follower, and we all know how his election to Chancellor turned out. We even have an example of how the progressive faction will rule if in power. They will come for your guns, as they are doing in Virginia, they will not brooch any “Sanctuary” policy to protect Constitutional Rights, only to create chaos, as the path to utopia. This election, a vote democrat is a vote for the Administrative State, to take your guns, Rights and re-educate you if needed.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Our Corruptocracy

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, our collective noses are being rubbed in the government’s corruption, and many still refuse to acknowledge it! They stand there, faces covered in filth, and claim there is nothing to see here. Either they are blinded by their zealous affection for the good that can be done by an Administrative State, with unlimited power, else they are too stupid to operate their heart and eyes at the same time. Today, we are surrounded by obvious evidence of out of control corruption in the bureaucracy and government, from Suicides that are clearly not suicides, people who are obviously above the law, the Constitution used as toilet paper and every other crime you can imagine covered up. Which makes it amazing that some refuse to see.

Lets face it, Jeffery Epstein did not commit suicide. No reasonable person looking at the evidence could conclude that… unless he has an interest in finding it was suicide. Let’s run down a few facts… The camera’s outside his cell were turned off, the guards that were supposed to keep watch mysteriously fell asleep, he supposedly self strangled with paper sheets, so hard he broke and slit his own neck. Yea, not at all suspicious. Even the NYC medical examiner threw up red flags, but was told it was a suicide… so they dutifully claimed it was suicide. Never mind the fact that the entire global power structure trembled at the information that would have come out had Epstein gone on trial. Moreover, had the whole thing been on the up and up… it wouldn’t have been papered over.

Hillary Clinton is clearly above the law. Her crimes are numerous and storied. From White Water, where their business partner went to jail and their “best friend,” committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head, through the FBI files scandal, to her server, mishandling classified documents and finally wiping a server under indictment, all without consequence. She is not the only democrat that is above the law. The Awan brothers were allowed to leave the country with a trove of top secret data gathered while they worked for the DNC managing their House servers. Adam Schiff lies on the floor of the House like the rug he stands on. Holder lied under oath to congress with only the merest slap on the wrist and Lois Lerner walked even though she used the IRS to silence conservatives.

Obama weaponized the bureaucracy, the Administrative State, against his political foes… to the cheers of the unbiased media. He put malware on reporters computers to spy on them, he used the IRS to silence conservatives, and he abused the FISA process to spy on his political foes, (I wonder if he did it to Romney in 2012 as well)? Many heinous crimes point to Obama. Like Fast and Furious where he was letting guns walk into Mexico, thus arming the drug cartels, even as he was trying to shut down gun shops along the boarder, by claiming it was them who was arming the drug cartels. Thousands of people died in Mexico and the US because of that criminal broadside against the Constitution. Obama even authorized a US citizen murdered by drone… without trial.

The list of crimes unpunished grows every day. This impeachment that is not based on high crimes or misdemeanors, but on a policy argument between the Administrative State and the Executive, the open sewer that is the State Department, protecting George Soros NGOs and Hunter Biden as well as Nancy Pelosi’s son, rather than forward legitimate US foreign policy as stated by the President, The judiciary acting as a defacto Executive, over ruling every action the President makes until their judicial over reach is overturned by the Supreme Court, the stench of rot emanating from the DOJ, FBI and CIA over Operation Crossfire Hurricane, the list goes on and on, but I have limited room. The only people to see but not acknowledge, are the media and those with a dog in the race. Can’t you smell that smell?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Who Should Rule?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, when progressives are in control of government, they believe there should be no limits, but when anyone else has power, progressives strongly believe in limited government. Even the authority justly given under the US Constitution is withheld by progressives. You see this clearly in the scorched earth policy democrats are using to destroy Trump. The attitude that leads to such hubris is a total lack of self awareness and a blind faith in the moral superiority of their position. Only a zealot is unable to see another as having a valid point of view, and only a zealot will deny another the very right, to that differing point of view. In this we find that progressives cover both bases. It’s self evident that someone who denies another the very right to a point of view… shouldn’t be in charge of anything.

The progressive Obama, a sycophant of the Administrative State, could do no wrong in the eyes of progressives. His railing about the Constitution as a set of negative liberties, showed not only his antipathy for it, but his arrogance as well. Weaponizing the bureaucracy, that was all too willing to go along, against his political foes was a level of criminality unseen in the US to then. When he was caught arming Mexican drug cartels he exerted Executive Privilege and the matter was dropped. When Obama spied on reporters personal computers the progressive media gave it a good leaving alone. Examples abound where Obama was allowed to surpass his authority without consequence, but when Trump tried to reign in those extra constitutional acts, the courts stopped him. So progressive!

Now that Trump, a non progressive, who is not in love with the Administrative State, is in charge, his every action is litigated and stopped by some bench seat driving judge. Then, the entire mechanism of government must grind to a halt until the matter is litigated to the Supreme Court, where Trump has won almost every time. Nevertheless, he is severely hampered from even executing the basic prerogatives of his office. Meanwhile, he has been impeached for “Obstruction of Congress.” For exerting Executive privilege, something Obama did on many occasions, to cover up obvious crimes. Voted on a party line to impeach and bipartisan not to impeach, showing that progressives deny any other faction the legitimate right to govern… even as they demand unlimited power themselves.

Can you imagine the lack of self awareness this requires? Not only are progressives acting as hypocrites, they are doing it publicly, and lack the ability to see it. To demand unlimited power when one wins an election, but denying others even the basic right to govern when they win, is not only hypocritical, it is psychotically pathological. Which seems to be a quality of progressive governance, psychopathic manipulation of people into self harm, for fun and profit. Fortunately, psychopaths always eventually get discovered and have to move, this has been the progressive faction’s downfall before. The reaction to the progressive era’s indulgences forced progressives to change their label to “liberals” for decades. Since our historical memory is that of a guppy… progressives have reemerged.

The hypocrite is the epitome of hubris. When Obama said, “Elections have consequences…” apparently he meant only when progressives win. The hubris in that attitude is clear for anyone with eyes to see. Moreover, the progressive faction’s machinations since the election of Trump, prove their hypocrisy. Progressives went on and on, that when Trump lost, he would endanger democracy itself if he called the election into question… then went on to do exactly that. The latest stunt, impeaching Trump without letting a single witness for Trump be called, and now holding the articles, show utter contempt for the rule of law, Constitutionality or even moral and social norms. In this, the progressive’s Administrative State has shown itself to be unfit to manage a deli on 7th street… let alone rule the world.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Who Should Pay the Cost of War?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, war should have a cost, to the people that declare it, not just some janitor’s son. War, as I have said before, is a way psychopaths manipulate good people into killing someone, who otherwise would be their best friend. Instead, wouldn’t it be more human hearted to place the real cost on those who connive, manipulate and pull the strings? Instead of the bodies burning, maybe the generals gathered in their masses should experience white phosphorous, rather than children sleeping in their beds at night. In that, Trump’s liquidation of that subhuman leader of the Al Cuds forces of Iran was pure genius. Let the dirt bag who orchestrates the deaths of other people’s children reap his well deserved eternal reward.

Any argument that he was going to do such and such, is absurd, since it has to be based on information from the CIA, MI6, NSA, etc… and they have shown themselves to be liars of the highest order, over and over. They have proven themselves worthy of our absolute antipathy and disdain. No, the culling of that man was just retaliation for the many injuries he and Iran has meted out to civilization. As the leader of the Al Cuds forces, the special forces of Iran, he was by definition, involved in Iran’s obvious backing of factions in the Iraq war, that were responsible for many US deaths and injuries. Not of psychopaths but of baker’s and bus driver’s sons and daughters. Which, had Bush or Obama been Americans, not shills for the Administrative State, would have resulted in his death back then.

The Administrative State’s proxies have been advocating for attacks on the oil infrastructure. They apparently think killing a roustabout, scratching out a living filthy and covered in unwashable paraffin, on an oil rig in the middle of the desert, will have a significant effect on the Iranian regime. I have also heard a cyberattack would have been better in retaliation for the deaths of Americans. The Administrative State appears to hold the value of human life very low, unless that human is a psychopathic dirtbag, then they value it’s life highly. The one thing every suggestion of the Administrative state is that it would increase the cost of energy and plunging us deeper into war with Iran. Which suggests it believes killing thousands of cab driver’s sons will improve the lot of Mankind.

I am more of the opinion that the people who hide behind oak doors, in walnut paneled rooms, banked with books and setting behind large intimidating desks… should be the ones to pay the price for their ideas, not the kid of a farmer in Wisconsin or Khorasan. Since the psychopaths setting in those rooms in Iran seem to like inflicting suffering on parents across the world, perhaps their own parents should experience that suffering for themselves. If we accept the concept of reciprocal attribution. Those kids sitting in bunkers in Iran needn’t die for some Ayatollah’s fantasy. The Ayatollah should be sent to meet his god. What I am saying is that the only correct response, one that even Mo Ti might agree with, is an attack on the Ayatollahs themselves, and perhaps the Iranian parliament in session as well.

This is of course sacrilege to the psychopaths that run the world. They like setting in a safe place, orchestrating the deaths of thousands, it is cathartic to them. They are what Thrasymachus would call, Great Men. The kind of person who believes Justice is a means to oppress, not a means to human heartedness. To actually threaten them… is to threaten the very paradigm that makes war possible! After all, what person, even a psychopath, would start a war if they knew they would be the first to die? After all, in the rotten core of their hearts they know who and what they serve, and where their eternal resting place will be. Why go there without the reward of creating suffering on a global scale first? Cut off the head of the worm… and let it squirm until it grows another.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

On Legalized Abortion

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, by having abortion “safe” and legal, more women are harmed by abortion than would be if it were illegal. As with most things there is the seen and the unseen. The most important factor, according to pro abortionists, is the welfare of the mother. If we accept this as the standard, for reasons of argument, it is clear that if legalized abortion is shown to harm the woman more, especially if the harm to women is much greater, then in the interests of women, abortion must be made illegal, as is rape, battery and DUI. I would further argue that anyone who doesn’t accept this standard is a zealot, who’s concern is not for the woman, but that abortion be performed for some nihilistic pathologically sick reason. So… does legalized abortion protect women?

There is that which is obvious to everyone, but other factors that are only known to a few people, these factors often change the entire profit loss of an endeavor. In his seminal book, that remains unread for the most part because it contains ugly truths, Bastiat’s example of the broken window in his, Things Seen and Things Unseen, illustrates the point. A boy breaks a window. The baker has to repair the window. The people watch and admire that the broken window has generated such economic demand. What they have not seen is that the money the baker uses to fix the window came from the money he had saved to buy shoes. The Baker will have to forego new shoes. So, what is unseen is that the window repairman’s windfall, came at the cost to the Baker and the cobbler.

The legalization and implementation of a national infrastructure, to facilitate the clinical slaughter of unborn babies, has resulted in many unseen negative incentives. For good or bad, Nature has hemmed us all in, in a myriad of ways. The danger of sex to a woman is both venereal disease and pregnancy. As innovators have made venereal disease less of a burden, and nearly eliminated pregnancy as an impediment to unlimited sex with random partners, not surprisingly we have seen an explosion of out of wedlock births, divorces and abortions. This was predicted by a Pope in some Papal Encyclical in the 1960’s… and was widely condemned at the time. Ugly truths and those that tell them are most hated, especially when they deny a glittering lie. These are things we courteously avoid seeing.

That explosion of sexual encounters has resulted in millions of unintended pregnancies and an epidemic of venereal diseases. The pregnancies can be “taken care of” by killing the baby and most venereal diseases can be solved with penicillin… but many cannot. This reduces our innovators to an arms race, and war, against pregnancy and disease… so our kids can have sex constantly with whomever they want. There are statistics that say that as many as 90% of Americans have at least one permanent venereal disease. Most being genital warts… that can lead to cervical cancer. The virus being so small it easily passes through a condom. Scientists have created a vaccine that protects from some varieties, giving those with that vaccine a false sense of security.

All resulting in over 70 million abortions since Roe V Wade in the US alone. Even as the out of wedlock birth rate has risen! Because so many more woman are getting pregnant out of wedlock due to the pernicious incentives of abortion. The number of woman harmed by abortion has also risen. The danger of any medical procedure cannot be removed, and so many more women and girls are getting abortions, the number of women harmed is way up. Add in the unseen… how many abortions were done to cover incest and rape, the objectification of women and the sexualization of kids… and we can only conclude that abortion on demand has harmed women and children in our society very much. Therefore… since the welfare of the mother is harmed by legal abortion, it should be illegal.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Progressives Radiate Hate

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, many progressives radiate hate… like a fire does heat. One only need listen to them with an open mind to feel the hate. Ask them what they hate and a progressive will harangue you for hours with everything he or she despises. They husband and nurture their hatred like one does a child. Seething inside and despising anything that they have identified as hateful. This makes progressives dangerous, because those who dwell on hate, become angry, bitter and most importantly… vengeful. Their hate fulfills their morality. To a progressive, the morality they create, based on hate and envy, is the highest and best. Since it is the epitome of all morality it justifies any action. That hate empowers a progressive to lie, cheat, kill and sterilize, because the “greater good,” the ends justify the means.

Examples abound of progressives who seethe both inside and out. Recently, a US congressman said he would bulldoze Jerusalem… how hate filled, and progressive. Bernie Sanders is a very bitter, angry, hate filled man. He supported Mao, Pol Pot and Castro, even today he will not condemn the slaughter they inflicted. Listen to the race baiters like Kamala Harris, Obama, Elizabeth Warren, etc… they cant help but expose their naked hatred for the American way. Their loathing of our Constitution cannot be denied, and their contempt of us filthy masses who live in fly over country couldn’t be made more plain, when they try to eliminate the electoral college. Can anyone argue that Hillary Clinton calling half the US population “deplorables,” was an act of love?

George Orwell said, it is not that socialists like the poor as much as they hate the rich. In fact, in Orwell’s day, and ours, socialists despise the poor and hold the unwashed in utter contempt. This is what explains their hypocrisy. Sanders would never be caught on a commercial airplane, nor would Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, or Adam Schiff. They fly private jets so they don’t have to smell us. What is perhaps most telling is that wherever progressives get power, the poor get poorer, even as the politically connected get richer. Actions and results speak louder than words, and progressive actions bespeak highly of their hatred of the little guy. Yet, they seek to garner our support by claiming their harming those they hate… will somehow help us.

Hate inevitably leads to vengeance. Nothing good comes of hate, bitterness, envy, and vengeance. They all lower the lot of Mankind. Hate diminishes the person who husbands it in her heart. That hate must destroy the hater’s soul… leading to vengeance. Couple hate with atheism and anything becomes possible. Because vengeance is righteous… or at least it feels like it to the hater. Even and especially when the innocent are punished, because once hate and nihilism have hollowed out a man’s soul, he finds joy in the suffering of others. Vengeance leads to more vengeance, an eye for an eye until everyone is blind. Anger, bitterness and vengeance never built a civilization…. it only rips them down. Those consumed with hate only serve to break, never to build or renovate… only destroy and oppress.

Stand next to a progressive as he or she is spouting their hatred of the patriarchy, or whatever boogeyman they hate today, and you can feel the hate radiate from them, as if you were standing next to a bonfire. Listen to the speeches of the democrat candidates today for President and feel the hate radiate from your TV. They hate Jews, Christians, capitalists, the rich, the poor, Americans, patriots, white people, Asians if they get too uppity, the Founding Fathers, the unborn, children, conservative blacks, in fact, anyone who doesn’t serve their power. On the other hand, they profess to love illegal immigrants, especially when they rape, kill and steal… and the “oppressed.” Progressives do not oppress to help the oppressed, they oppress because they are hate filled, and love to oppress.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
