Chaos as the Path to Utopia

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, if the elite can sow enough chaos, eventually we will beg for our own oppression. Which is of course the plan… when the elite demand we open our boarders, have sanctuary cities where illegals can commit crimes with impunity, empty our insane asylums onto the streets, cover up obvious religious hate crimes, expunge God from our society, hold double standards, demand through political correctness we repeat glittering lies and suppress ugly truths, create a legal system that favors the evil against the good, import diseases that have been eradicated in the West for decades, use the education system to produce socialists rather than rugged individuals, even as they call good evil and evil good. All of these policies sow chaos, and since they do, chaos must be what they want.

One of the things that characterizes the West, is the self imposed order, that is the cultural legacy our forefathers left us. The West’s cultural legacy is one that ended slavery, not just in the West but made the idea disreputable the world over, created the Industrial Revolution and the stellar improvements in the economic well being of mankind, recognized debate as the arbiter of truth not appeal to authority. Natural Law gave us individual Rights, freedom to keep and bare arms, property Rights, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from illegal searches and seizures, freedom of association, freedom to our own conscience and freedom to address grievances with our government. All these philosophies have allowed the West to advance the human condition orders of magnitude.

Most of us just want a safe place to raise a family, economic well being, and opportunities for our children. Chaos is the enemy of every one of those things. Like Machiavelli said in The Prince, a stable tyranny is better for the middle class than an unstable democracy. What he meant was that in a stable tyranny, (order) one can do business, (because in his time the tyrant mostly oppressed the elite), crime is low and people can plan for the future. But in an unstable democracy, (chaos) you cannot do business with anyone, crime is rampant and it becomes impossible to plan for the future. It therefore follows that once a society has become too chaotic to do business, crime is rife, and no plans can be made… people will turn from that unstable democracy and embrace a stable tyranny. Simply to raise a family.

By destroying the legacy of the West the progressives are sowing chaos. Presumably they sow chaos for a reason other than to lower the lot of Man. One only need look at the results of their policies. In Britain, formerly a very safe and orderly place, now random knife attacks on the streets are so commonplace the media often doesn’t even report them. Even a decade ago that would have been unthinkable. Sweden, a pioneer in women’s Rights, has become the rape capital of Europe. Riots in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc… are the norm today. The entire continent of Europe is stumbling into utter chaos before our eyes. Soon it will become impossible to raise a family under such conditions, and once that happens, people will scramble for something or someone to fix it.

Clearly, since people will demand a stable tyranny to escape an unstable democracy, anyone interested in creating a stable tyranny, from a stable democracy, just needs to sow chaos. Claim that a policy, that will clearly result in chaos, is “for the children,” to “keep families together,” or some other manipulation, and chaos will result. Judging by their policies, the results of those policies and their stated philosophy, we can conclude that the new class progressive faction, (that has monopoly control of our bureaucracies, media, law, corporations and are our cultural leaders)… seeks to produce a stable tyranny for us to cling to, once the chaos has got bad enough. Then the progressives can get rid of all those “outdated” Rights, ushering in their idea of Thomas Moore’s Utopia.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Political Gaslighting

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the progressives are gaslighting us, showing who they are if we just look. How many times have democrats denied reality? How many times have progressives said something, then denied it later, only to get angry when confronted with their own words? These are classic signs of gaslighting. What is so evil and pernicious about a political faction gaslighting, (using propaganda), is that it is both a form of psychopathic manipulation, and since people “follow their leaders,” gaslighting and other forms of manipulation will become common. As a means to gather and maintain corrupt political power, gaslighting can be very effective, but only when the main stream media goes along with the gaslighting. Is a narcissistic manipulative world one we want to live in?

Gaslighting is a word that comes from the name of an old movie. It means to manipulate someone into believing an untruth and doubt their own reality. The gaslighter will do something then deny it, lie about something unverifiable and then question the target’s sanity. These are forms of abuse that play on our innate need to be agreeable. The narcissist exploits that civilizing factor to manipulate people into self harm, for fun and profit. Gaslighting is a favorite means for narcissists to manipulate family members. The Hegelian dialectic is also a form of gaslighting, it creates a problem, to get a reaction, then exploits that reaction to implement something that couldn’t have been done before, a classic gaslighting technique… do something, lie about having done it, to manipulate people.

We tend to follow our leaders, we do as they do, if they are virtuous, we become virtuous, and if they tend to vice we also tend to vice. This historical reality can only be denied by people who are gaslighting you. This was a central tenet of Confucius teachings. So, when our leaders engage in open gaslighting of the people, many will follow their lead, and bring that form of abuse into their homes and businesses. Since the elite do it, it must be okay, so I should be able to advance by that technique as well. The Victorian era is called the Victorian Era, because Queen Victoria set an example of modesty, which the people followed. Contrasted with the earlier Romantic, where debauchery was the norm and the people followed then as well.

For gaslighting to work as a political tool, (propaganda), the faction that would engage in it must control the flow of information. That way they can spin it to bolster their lies, and even create stories as a fiction writer does, forming reality to their desires. Today we have a main stream media that lies about itself to the world and, in many cases, to itself as well. This is one reason alternative media is so despised. Take two news outlets. One openly avows it’s political bias, while the other claims to be unbiased. The second is clearly gaslighting while the first is not. Claiming to be unbiased… in and of itself, is a form of gaslighting! Unless the writers and editors are not human beings, subject to the same prejudices, knowledge gaps, anger issues, and with a sinful nature, just like you and I?

Fast and Furious was an example of gaslighting, as was the lie about a film causing the Benghazi attacks, the entire Russiagate hoax, Hillary acting like she didn’t know what wiping a hard drive was, Obama claiming he only discovered such and such a scandal when we did… through the papers. These and many others are examples of gaslighting. Those who engage in gaslighting are manipulative and narcissistic. Don’t think for a second they are using abusive measures to manipulate you… to help you. That is like the mouse who becomes mesmerized by the snake’s eyes. The thing about gaslighting is that it is open. It has to be. To fight it then we must call attention to it, call them out for it and explain it to others… else we will end up in a world where gaslighting is commonplace.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Appearance of Democracy

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, there is nothing more important than the appearance of democracy, especially as democracy itself is undermined. Someone intent on undermining the will of the people, as represented in a democratic vote, might engage in vote fraud while claiming anyone who tries to stop the fraud is disenfranchising people too stupid to get the same ID they need to drive, buy liqueur, rent a motel room, register a car, etc… Thus undermining democracy even as they claim to be it’s staunch defender. Of course only a psychopath, someone devoid of a conscience, manipulative, hubristic and egoistic would do such a thing. What they are doing is keeping up the appearance of democracy, as they undermine it, so we will not realize until it is too late, that they have destroyed our republic itself.

Aristotle said in his Ethics, there are three right forms of government and three wrong forms, as well as one perfect form. The three wrong forms are tyranny, oligarchy, and democracy. While the right forms are monarchy, aristocracy and polity. The perfect form is a republic, a blending of the three right forms. What makes the wrong forms, well, wrong, is that the ruler(s) rule in their own best interests, not that of the nation and people as a whole. Which is what makes the right forms right, the rulers rule in the best interests of the nation, not themselves. A republic smothers the ability of would be usurpers to leverage the authority vested in them, to run the State, enriching themselves and oppressing the people. A republic lasts longer before being corrupted than any other form of government.

The US and indeed all modern nations are a form of republic, a blending of the right forms of government. The US Constitution was written during the Enlightenment. While it contains Aristotelian concepts it also has Montesquieu’s ideas to further limit the power of the elite to usurp authority. Nevertheless, each part of the three branches, and three loci of political power, the executive, the legislative and the democratic. The judicial is supposed only to decide questions of law, not be political, that they have inserted themselves in politics shows their disregard of their true function today. If any of the three loci of political power, the executive, legislative and democratic, is subsumed by one of the others, that would give the faction that now controls two loci, autocratic power.

In a functioning republic, the people’s vote is a check on the aristocrat’s power, but if that check is reduced to a rubber stamp, there is no limit to the usurpations the aristocracy, or indeed any tyrant could take. If, for example, there was sufficient vote fraud, in sufficiently diverse forms, stopping it would be nearly impossible. Especially since the faction that wields the vote fraud would be unstoppable. Such a faction could roll over all opposition, claiming to be the majority, when in fact they are the minority. Just like Lenin’s Bolshevik ploy. Calling the minority the majority and using that claimed title to justify oppression, self enrichment and more corruption. That is why there must be a free and fair democratic element to any republic… the lack of which bodes evil.

We can tell when an elite is corrupt, if they have corrupted the democratic element of their republic, moreover, if they also tend towards the silencing of diverse voices, they are a true threat, not just to liberty but the peace and economic well being of the nation as well. Those who silence others are always up to no good. The righteous laugh at innuendo and catcalls while villains are exposed by them. That is why the villain must silence those pointing out his villainy while the righteous can turn the other cheek. That a faction does silence others points to their being diabolical. A faction that engages in vote fraud, while claiming to be the champions of democracy, are villains by any definition, and must therefore maintain the appearance of democracy, especially as they undermine it.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Way to End Corruption in Government

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the scandal at the FBI and DOJ, illustrate why governments need a Numa… a Fourth Branch. Today’s scandals are not the first nor will they be the last. History shows us that all governments become corrupt, the larger the faster, but the longer they can hang together as a putrid entity, the primary mechanism of institutional corruption is always law enforcement, and that a pinky swear is not a sufficient bond, to hold psychopaths to a constitution. Lately however, the corruption has bubbled to the surface like it rarely does. The entire national law enforcement agencies, as well as the national security apparatus, corrupted to political purposes. This has led to a cover up that in many ways is as bad as the crime. Which could have been averted by a Numa or Fourth Branch.

Governments become corrupt. That is a fact of life. History tells us the tale of how they become corrupt and that they all do… yet history is an ugly truth, while imagination is a lovely lie. Most people would rather believe a glittering lie than an ugly truth any day. So we continue along like history doesn’t have anything to say about the future. I wonder if that is why our schools, under the progressive tutelage of Dewey, changed history to social studies? Hiding historical lessons from us, so we would be ignorantly willing to retry the ones that failed spectacularly, very progressive. Yet, we are still faced with the fact that governments become corrupt, even and especially those with the role, power and scope to, “help the poor.” Such governments are rife for corruption… as history teaches us.

Daily, those of us who listen to Judicial Watch, are deluged with proof of absolute corruption at our national law enforcement agencies. Lying under oath to Congress by both the FBI bureaucracy in responses to Congress, perjury by the head of the FBI James Comey, the DOJ running interference for the FBI, scads of top FBI and DOJ officials resigning in disgrace, and the stonewalling about information how the Russiagate investigation started in the first place, these are the smoke that points to the fire. What is really chilling about this scandal, in our top law enforcement agencies, is that we have just started to scratch the surface! How much more is there to be discovered? If we had a branch of government dedicated to discovering such things… we wouldn’t have to guess.

A Numa or Forth Branch would be the police of the State. It would preclude government from using “national security” as a means to hide corruption. It’s role, function and scope would include prosecuting crimes against the Constitution. An oversight long due to be corrected. It would monitor every conversation of every politician, bureaucrat and executive, then transmit those conversations, including video, to the public via the Internet. Claims of national security would be adjudicated with the Numa as the people’s representative. The Numa would drug test every member of government on a monthly cycle, to insure those who send us to jail for taking drugs, are not themselves taking drugs. The Numa itself would be overseen by the very people it oversees, leading to perpetual animosity.

Today’s scandals show us again that we need a means to oversee government officials. As I have pointed out many times in the past, they are prone to corruption. Examples abound, like Sanders, Pelosi, Obama, the Clintons, etc… people that have got rich in politics. To use a Harry Truman Euphemism, “You can’t get rich in politics unless you are a crook!” Making them crooks by that Democrat’s standard. Exploiting power for riches is as old as the book, and will never go away, but scandals that involve the national law enforcement agencies and national security apparatus, are far more damaging of our nation as a whole. These must be addressed. If we allow the DOJ, FBI, CIA, IRS, etc… to become agents of a political faction, we have accepted tyranny.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Is An Oppressor Better… If The People Choose Him?

Dear Friends,

In the end, it always comes down to force… when dealing with psychopaths in power. Time and time again we see a psychopath elected to office, promising utopia, and delivering Hell on Earth. Once in power they declare themselves, President for life, and “justly” execute anyone who besmirches their name. Erdogan in Turkey is the exemplar of such a man. Democratically elected they wield violence like an epee to hold and maintain “their” power. Promising the utopia, that can only come from stealing the wealth others have accumulated, eventually that wealth is plundered, and those who have become dependent on that larceny… starve. This is the stage in socialist evolution that we find Venezuela in today. The violence is the inevitable result of dealing with psychopaths in power.

The way Cyrus the great was discovered, as being the grandson of the king, illustrates the distinction between aristocracy and the common man. When he was born his grandfather had a disturbing dream. He dreamt a vine grew from his pregnant daughter to cover the world. The Magi told him this meant his grandson would rule the world. Fearing his own blood, the king ordered Cyrus put to death. The King’s confidant however, didn’t have the heart to murder a baby, so he let a sheep herder adopt him instead. Years later, Cyrus was playing “king,” when he ordered an aristocrat’s son seized and beaten. That boy’s father went to the King to have the sheep herder’s son killed. This led directly to Cyrus being discovered to be alive… and to go on to conquer the “world.”

What makes the story of Cyrus illustrative, is that psychopathy, is the single trait that has always run through any aristocracy. It has always been the nature of those who would lead. They inflict violence to force other to do that which they themselves would never submit to. Power over others is the ultimate thrill for a psychopath. History cannot be denied. Look at what history calls, “great men.” Psychopaths every one! What was Alexander but a psychopath determined to conquer the world? Cut from the same cloth as Cyrus, Caesar, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Imperial China’s Xi. Because many psychopaths will resign themselves to a portion of tyrannical power, in a bureaucracy… since it also gives them anonymity. They can manipulate people into self harm from behind a curtain.

A psychopath is the ultimate politician or bureaucrat. Every characteristic attributed to psychopaths defines a great politician. Charismatic, able to manipulate people, glib, huge ego, delusions of grandeur, indefatigable in the pursuit of power and utterly ruthless, they define politics. Is it a wonder many if not most politicians are psychopaths? They say psychopaths only make up one percent of the population, so in a population of three hundred million, there would be three million psychopaths. By any measure that is a deep pool from which to draw when it comes to politicians and bureaucrats. To be pragmatic we have to accede that our governments are filled with psychopaths. Especially those governments that have accepted the utopian idea of socialism.

Psychopaths worship the idea of Thrasymachus, that justice is a game played on the hoi polloi, to keep us quiet, but not anything they would submit themselves to. In Plato’s Republic Thrasymachus stood in opposition to Socrates. Socrates was trying to get the young people to come to the conclusion themselves, that Justice is a primary good. While Thrasymachus argued that Justice is a tool the strong use against the weak. Psychopaths obviously believe as did Thrasymachus. The ballot box gives the appearance of legitimacy, as laws only give the appearance of justice. That is why when a psychopath gets fully in power, and becomes president for life, no matter the suffering of the people, it is only through violence that they can be removed. As history constantly reminds us.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Scandals Projected

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, democrats should work at a movie theater, they are so good at projecting. People project on others their own insecurities, foibles and crimes. A thief usually thinks, “I am a thief, and so everyone else must also be, they are just better at it.” A liar believes everyone else lies, a trollop thinks all women are trollops, and a conniver is certain everyone else is conniving against him. We all do this to some extent. It is mostly harmless, until someone trustworthy meets a conniver, then they learn not to project their own trustworthiness on others. The conniver never gets to learn that lesson though. The conniver projects their own machinations on everyone else, and never learns that others are not so manipulative and bereft of a conscience. Which in their eyes makes the rest of us weak.

What about Trump’s Russiagate “scandal,” which, after millions of dollars and years spent investigating it, even destroying several people in the process, done by people who openly despise Trump, proved it to be a conspiracy theory, yet is still being used as a means to destroy him. The matter was investigated by a special council, appointed to destroy Trump if at all possible, and Trump was found not to have colluded, so the democrats are going to adjudicate the “scandal” in the political court. They have even taken to claiming, Barr is a tool of President Trump, yet only a few years ago Attorney General Eric Holder lied to congress about Fast and Furious, after which Obama exerted Executive Privilege to stop the investigation. Projecting on Barr the acts of Holder.

Meanwhile, evidence piles up of actual collusion between the democrats and British intelligence, Russian figures… and now, a revelation that if Trump were merely accused of would destroy him. That is, that the Obama administration exploited it’s position of authority, to strong arm the government of Ukraine into giving information on the Trump campaign, that could be used politically. This, in and of itself, is an order of magnitude worse than anything Trump was accused of in Russiagate. The “Dossier” was compiled by a British intelligence agent, Christopher Steele with intelligence from Russian operatives, then was used to create a fictitious connection between Trump and Russia, to discredit Trump in an election… showing democrats projecting their own collusion onto Trump.

Now, evidence has come to light that the Obama administration itself was in on the act, (as if we didn’t already surmise that), in that officials from his administration put pressure on Ukraine to come up with dirt on Trump! This is abuse of power, and if true, is proof of an out of control and corrupt administration. People who would lie to Congress about running guns into Mexico to drug cartels, then blaming innocent gun dealers in a ham handed attempt at using the Hegelian Dialectic, to chip away at the Second Amendment… are connivers. When Obama was caught, his administration went into overdrive obstructing justice, even to the extent of perjury, for which there were no negative consequences. Which shows where the projection of “obstruction of justice,” comes from.

While the gullible are quickly educated about projecting, a conniver never learns, their projection only seems to enforce their projections. They project their lies on others, as shown by their continuing pushing a proven conspiracy theory, they project their own conspiracies on others when they demand we ignore clear evidence of their colluding with foreign powers, to investigate the other based on innuendo, and they project their own obstructing of justice, as they claim the sitting AG is as corrupt as their man was. Since democrats engage in projection so often, we can only conclude that democrats are liars, connivers and sociopaths, since they have never learned not to project. Moreover, it is a movie theater, where their projections would do the least damage to the human condition.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Role of Government, Moral Hazard and Suffering

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the new progressive “role” of government, is to promote moral hazard in every action of the citizenry. Moral hazard is an insurance term, that means one will take less than the normal precautions, since the costs will be paid by someone else. This new progressive role of government has resulted in such things as, thousands of abortions a month, out of control opiate problem, fatherless children, a welfare state that threatens to bankrupt the richest nation in history, a resurgence of formerly eradicated diseases, skyrocketing medical costs, ever rising divorce rate, the Peter Pan syndrome among our boys, and many more I could list, but the list would take up all the space in this article. Let’s examine, does this new progressive role of government… alleviate suffering or make it worse?

The role of government has evolved many times in human history. The first “governments” protected the tribe, and were autocratic, many times despotic. The ancient Greeks instituted the popular vote, which changed the role of government to protect the people from the aristocracy. The Romans created the consular system to limit the predilection of the State to become oppressive, and the Enlightenment changed the role of government again, from protecting the elite and their prerogative, to protecting the individual from the depredations of the elite. Now the progressive faction has again changed the role of government, from protecting the individual from oppression, to protecting people from the negative consequences of their own bad behavior.

The Enlightenment gave us the ideas of individualism, Natural Law, freedom of speech, liberty with responsibility and discourse as the arbiter of truth. Those innovations led to the Industrial Revolution, the near eradication of once dreaded diseases, opened education to almost everyone, gave us the space age, the highest standard of living ever in the history of mankind, and has stood against the usurpation and oppression of such evil actors as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, etc… The socialist/Marxist/progressive faction, on the other hand, has brought us abortion, eugenics, the silencing of free speech, political correctness, the Holocaust, the welfare state, gulags, reeducation, and state surveillance of the people… among other innovations in the power and scope of the State.

Compassion is a two edged sword. Is it compassionate to give a heroin addict heroin for free? After all, people who are addicted to opiates, feel like their “bones are breaking” if they cannot get it, so wouldn’t compassion dictate we give them free heroin? Is that true compassion though? Is helping someone destroy themselves compassion… or something else? Is it compassionate to kill one person to make another’s life easier? Is it compassionate to forcibly sterilize another because the State feels their genes are substandard? Is it human hearted to destroy the nuclear family, trapping families for generations, in an unbreakable cycle of poverty? Can someone be called compassionate, who creates the conditions under which others live in fear of speaking the truth, because it is politically incorrect?

The new progressive role of government sets up nothing but pernicious incentives, which increase the suffering in the world. Abortion on demand incentivizes young people to engage in risky behavior, leading to the plague of sexually transmitted diseases, promoting transgenderism has resulted in an epidemic of suicides, the welfare state has undermined the socialization of boys, leading to the huge prison population we have today, and creating sanctuary cities for illegal aliens, increases violent crime, fraud and homelessness. In trying to mitigate the negative consequences of bad behavior, government in fact, increases the suffering in the world. So I ask, should we continue creating moral hazard, or change paths? It depends what you want… more, or less suffering.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Distribution of Resources and Abortion

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the way a society, people or nation distributes it’s resources, determines the priorities of that society, people or nation. Our priorities, show their character and nature. Doctors, for example, are a very limited and valuable resource. Those qualified to be doctors, intellectually, are also very limited. Which makes ramping up the number of doctors difficult. So how do we distribute our valuable resource of doctors? It would appear that slaughtering babies is a top priority of our society, people and nation, since we have so many doctors doing abortions. There is around two thousand doctors performing abortions in the United States today. Those doctors could be saving lives… but take them instead. This suggests that taking life is a high priority for our society, people and nation.

Our priorities show what we value. You don’t spend money on something you don’t want… do you? Money is a limited resource, as are medical doctors. We don’t waste resources on things we don’t value. So we can say that we value abortion very highly. What we value illustrates who we are as people. Those who spend their money on frivolity are frivolous people, those who spend their money on charity are charitable people, and those who kill children are evil. Many people even value inanimate objects over living breathing human beings. There is a movie I have been told about, where a mother whips her daughter with a metal coat hanger… because she used a metal coat hanger on her dresses!!! (The story bothers me to this day). That evil woman values cloth more than her own child!

The nature of a people can be understood by their values. Sodom and Gomorrah had values. Theirs was hedonism. Even to the point of demanding Lot participate in the rape of the angels, who had visited Sodom to decide if it could be saved… thus sealing their own fate. Which shows their nature was selfish pleasure at the cost of everything else. Leading to their just destruction at the hands of God. Evil people, societies and nations have priorities that are evil. Abortion is just such an evil priority. How much cheaper would it be to go to a general practitioner, (GP), if an extra thousand GPs were distributed across our nation? How many lives could be saved if medical care was more widely available, because those doctors were saving lives rather than taking them?

During WWII, in 1944, the German Army Group Center was facing a huge Soviet offensive. They lacked sufficient ammunition to defend themselves. That ammunition was available in Germany. The Hungarian government however, had just fallen in a coup to a rabidly pro Nazi party, and the Jews who had been protected by Hungary’s former government, became available to be sent to the Death Camps. The Nazi party decided to use their trains, (rolling stock), to bring those Jews to be slaughtered, rather than resupply their troops. The result was the collapse of Army Group center and the greatest defeat of Germany in the war. This episode in human history highlights that the Nazi’s priorities were to kill Jews, rather than protect Germany, or win the war. This priority shows their nature was evil.

We have, as a primary value, the slaughter of babies, proven by how we distribute our doctors. We dispose of human beings like an old pair of shoes. How dead must we be inside, how empty of soul and how black in disposition, to have as a priority… abortion? So much so that we distribute such a valuable resource like medical doctors to it? What does that say about us as a people? If we had values that included human heartedness, we would ostracize any doctor who does abortion, just like we do a serial killer. For there is little difference between them. Anyone who could drown a living baby, is no better than a psychopath who rapes and murders little girls… except the psychopath has a mental illness. Is this really who we are.. evil people, who value evil above good?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Political Correctness

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, political correctness is a lie we must tell ourselves and others, one we know to be false, in order not to be ridiculed… by those who need the lie told to maintain their power and wealth. We have all heard the jokes about political correctness, some funny and some foolish, but they have existed since Lenin’s Bolsheviks slaughtered their way across Russia. When political correctness was confined to backwards, Marxist Russia, it was a joke, now that it has permeated every facet of the West, is has become a real danger. Far from being a joke today, political correctness limits what we can think and discuss, while providing psychopaths a handy means to shut down debate that is counter to their interests. Political correctness is a cancer that needs to be cut out.

When someone says that is not politically correct, what they are saying is, “While that may be the truth, it is an inconvenient truth, and so must not be spoken aloud.” Think about it, is there a single thing that is “not politically correct” that isn’t at least based on some truth? That is the joke of it all! When we accede to political correctness we accede to putting limits on what can be debated. That is clearly a sub optimal path to societal advancement. It is however, a means to progressive goals, total government, centrally managed economy, (by professional bureaucrats), and establishing atheism as the State religion. To that end, certain lies must be maintained, that socialism can work, that capitalism has failed, that the group defines and surpasses the individual, etc… One doesn’t mention these truths.

Politically correct speech is a form of thought control, socially enforced thought control, moreover it forces us to lie, thus opening the door to more lies. What is speech but the outward manifestation of our thoughts. Control what we say and you control what we think. If we are not allowed to debate a subject we can then be made to believe even the most absurd thing about it. Ignorance weakens us to the point we can be manipulated by the simplest of ploys. That it is socially enforced makes it all the more pernicious. Such manipulations by their tenacity can hold people from speaking the truth for generations. Simply by claiming that a truth that is painful must not be spoken, one is insuring that pain can never be addressed.

Societal lies lead to gulags. It is as simple as that. In Solzhenitsyn’s the Gulag Archipelago, he essentially says it. A gulag need not be physical, nor does it necessarily need to be in Siberia, we can create little gulags in our own minds. Gulags that we enforce upon ourselves to keep politically correct. Yet even as we keep silent about evil, that evil grows and becomes all the more difficult to face. So in our cowardice we remain silent… and the evil metastasizes and eventually, we end up physically, in a gulag for real. One only need look at history, politically incorrect history to be sure, but the proof is in history. Political correctness is a lie that lets evil grow, once that evil has grow sufficiently, the mask comes off and the gulags open for business.

Civilized people have no need of thought control, nor of tyrants who would enforce such on us. A civilized people do not come about from thin air, civilized people are educated. That the West has turned out uneducated, uncivilized people, manipulated by political correctness, is damning of our education system. It is never too late to become civilized. To do so one must learn politically incorrect history, debate politically incorrect subjects, use politically incorrect language if it makes a point, yet remain classy, speak with courtesy and practice the golden rule. Only civilized people can combat the pernicious, corrosive and manipulative reality of political correctness. The way to stop political correctness and all it’s negative effects, is for each of us to strive to become civilized.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

When is War… War?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, you can tell there is a war being waged on a faction, idea or belief, when there is physical evidence of it. That is not to say that a war cannot be waged by propaganda, cultural inculcation and by the education system itself. These means however, do not lend themselves to the definition of war, as well as a burning school. The sight of actual destruction and it’s aftermath has a way of defining a movement. While propaganda and cultural inculcation are effective at undermining the will to fight, it is only in destroying the edifices… that an idea, faction or belief, can be utterly subjugated. The physical evidence of the submission of a nation, idea or belief is that bigotry against it is not only overlooked… it is promoted, even as their books, buildings and people burn.

When Japan bombed Pearl Harbor… the US and the citizenry knew they were at war with Japan. The US government pumped out anti Japanese propaganda at a fever clip. Anti Japanese bigotry was not just overlooked, it was promoted! The Nazis didn’t lionize the Slavic people, they made them subhuman. No one who considers themselves civilized, wants to slaughter other civilized people, but barbarians, haters, fascists, Japs, Kulaks, Kafirs, infidels, Rebs, blue coats, red coats, etc… now, they are a thing you can get behind killing. You know you are winning because their places are burning to the ground. It is and has always been, the measure of the supremacy of a faction, that it’s edifices are sacrosanct while it’s enemy’s are tinder.

While post modernists like to justify violence based on their interpretation of past oppression, they tend to overlook present oppression, especially if that oppression is against a faction they detest. Which of course, makes post modernists hypocrites, but we already knew that. In fact, the progressive media covers up daily attacks against politically disfavored factions, even going to the extreme of creating hoaxes to vilify that same disfavored faction. In the case of WWII, Britain helped the US in the Pacific theater against Imperial Japan, we were what is called, allies in war. Every Japanese base need not be attacked by US forces, some were attacked by British ships. Both of which used propaganda to justify their attacks against Japanese assets.

Von Clausewitz said, “war is politics by other means…” Every war that has ever been has started by the struggle between ideas. From the Gauls invading Italy to Mao’s revolution, all wars start as the clash of ideas. Then some psychopath jumps out in front and whips people into a killing frenzy over it. The enemy becomes anyone who doesn’t subscribe to the “idea.” Dehumanizing the enemy just makes it easier to kill them. All it takes is for one side to go to war, for there to be war. Because while peace takes two it only takes one for war. Poland didn’t want to go to war with Nazi Germany in 1939… but they did. The idea may be as simple as Lebensraum, or as complex as how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, but there is always an underlying conflict of ideas or beliefs.

War takes all forms, but it is only in the actual violence and destruction that it comes to full maturity. Once the enemy’s edifices are burning, his women fear for their virtue, the men dare not speak up and their children trained to hate themselves… that is when the war is in nearly won. Covering up and apologizing for atrocities, while creating atrocities to vilify the enemy, these are the actions of a good friend. The thing about war is, it doesn’t matter which side is right, but which one has the most zealous adherents, that is why human history is so filled with suffering. So… pity the poor idea, faction or belief that finds itself in the unenviable position, of having it’s children taught to hate themselves, their convictions vilified by the culture, silenced and their edifices in flames around them.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
