The “Populist” Elite

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, a common thread that runs through human history, is that factions start out as populist, then evolve to elitist, which drives the people to start another populist movement. The reason they evolve to become elitist is because “the people,” once they have gained power, are too numerous and distant from the levers to rule, so they hire agents to implement their populist agenda, the new elite. That agenda becomes perverted by the new elite to their own ends. At some point, the people realize the faction they started, to implement a populist agenda, is in fact implementing an elitist one instead. The masses either submit, vote the dirt bags out, else storm the castle with pitch forks and torches. Creating a new populist movement, then hiring some elite to implement their agenda…

Some examples of movements that started as populist that became elitist, are Lenin’s Bolsheviks, Hitler’s Nazis and Mao’s Red Guards. You can go as far back in history as you want. Rome’s People’s Tribunes, rather than balancing the elite, became the elite, seeking their own interests instead of the people’s, which led to Marius and Sulla’s fratricide. If I put baking soda in vinegar, I will observe a foaming, as the reaction produces carbon dioxide. Every time I do it, the same reaction occurs. By the scientific method then, because it is an empirically observable and reproducible event, we consider it empirical truth. Since every populist movement becomes elitist, without exception, we can conclude this is also an empirical truth. Arguing it may not in the future discredits chemistry as effectively.

Many populist ideas are actually elitist ones that were sold to the people as their own. Every Marxist revolution, for example, has been led by overly educated half witted Machiavellians, and soldiered by peasants. Nowhere there is a functional market system, have the malevolent brainiacs been able to gin up a revolution. They have, as in the case of Obama’s mentor, Bill Ayers, been able to detonate bombs, maiming and wounding low level elite, but that only alienated the people they were trying to recruit. In functional revolutions, the elite sold the idea of communism to illiterate peasants, like any good swindler. People raised in a capitalist culture, however, know better than to buy a pig in a poke. So the elite are replacing our capitalist culture with a socialist. To make that pig in a poke look appealing.

Since the problem is the “populist” elite, once in power, turn on the people who put them there, maybe we could put the elite under surveillance, like they do us now, the results posted on the internet in real time and recorded. Then the elite will know they are being watched. It certainly cannot be as expensive to monitor them as it is for them to monitor us. Nor would it be a greater intrusion into their lives, than them watching our daughters take a shower, through her cell phone camera. The national security argument is as hollow as it is a lie. If the elite followed our constitution no nation would dare attack us. With a camera, microphone and no way to turn them off in every office, conference room and hallway, it would be hard to be corrupt. They would try… but they would also be caught for it.

Surveillance is only effective if it comes with consequences. That the elite openly defy their own laws, even as they use those laws to go after their political enemies, shows the arbitrariness of enforcement. If surveillance is used to empower a single faction, rather than enforce the law and constitutional limits, it is a tool of tyranny. As when Pericles used the Ostracism against his political enemies, setting up the Athenian culture, ethos and system, to be destroyed by Alcibiades. Any elite exposed breaking the law, must be punished to the full extent of the law… just as the system would a poor person. Along with actual punishments for crimes there needs to be consequences for undermining the Constitution. Anything less continues to empower a pathological elite at the expense of humanity.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

When The Extraordinary Becomes Ordinary

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, that the extraordinary has become commonplace, means we live in extraordinary times. So much of what we don’t bat an eye at, even a decade ago, would have shocked the most progressive person. I have often said, if you live in a sewer you cannot but help smelling like it, you don’t notice it… and we live an example. We go about our daily lives masked, with multiple clearly worthless vaccinations, socially distanced, tolerating a spike in suicides, overdoses and thought crimes, as we get our Soma from the TV news every night. The list of absurdities we accept as normal, the new normal if you will, are astounding. The extraordinary has indeed become commonplace today, proving that we do live in extraordinary times. The question now becomes… what are we going to do about it?

Could you have imagined twenty years ago that critical race theory would be taught in our public schools? The cringe fringe was already lionizing dingle berries like Mao, Che and Marx, but everyone thought them nutcases. Especially when the lesson of the Twentieth Century is that communism is a failed system. Today, the former fringe is the hegemony in our public schools, higher education and the agencies that regulate them. People preaching in the public schools, on Martin Luther King day, that we must not judge people by the content of their character but by the color of their skin, and no one shrieks at the absurdity, is truly astounding. I wonder if any public High school today has an industrial arts program, home economics or art classes? Now that is pretty extraordinary.

What does the War on drugs have in common with the war on terror? The elite lost them both. The year the US entered the War on Terror in 2001, the drug overdose deaths in the US were around 20,000, last year they were around 100,000. Clearly, the drugs were far more wily, smart and effective, than the government officials… paid well over 100k a year with gold plated benefits and an 80% retirement. Obviously the bureaucrats were not paid well enough to do their job. Meanwhile they were busying themselves with losing the war on terror. When the US fled Afghanistan the Taliban were in much better position than when the US invaded. Never mind the American kids who died, were wounded, have PTSD and the suffering of uncountable others. Both examples are just extraordinary.

The progressive faction has one thing it is exceptional at, and their response to the Wuhan Flu is the epitome of it… failure. The death rate in 2021 has been higher than in 2020! Despite the “effective” vaccine. The falsity that the unvaccinated are the cause is proved a lie by the facts. When no one was vaccinated, there were fewer deaths, than when most are? Proving the vaccinations are worthless, at least at stopping the spread, severity and death rate of the Rona. Since people were better off without the vaccines. Maybe, if it doesn’t work thrice… take it a dozen times? Sooner or later it might… or not. Regardless, it is handy as a reason to implement a Beast system, complete with a Mark. Even a zealot has to admit, a higher death rate when we supposedly have vaccines, is extraordinary.

Now that you realize we live in a sewer, and smell like it, are you going to get out and take a shower? How about doing something to change the extra ordinary times we live in… to more normal times? Setting on the couch, eating Cheetos and watching masked singer… while complaining to our spouse about the cost of the Cheetos, hasn’t worked. We need to become active. Contact your representatives, senators and the President. Don’t count on those who gave us these extraordinary times to get us back to normal though. “Rotten wood is no good for carving…” -Confucius. Get involved in the primaries. They are where the action is. Bring in new blood, zealous for the fight and true in their love of the US, our Constitution and the people. If we do, instead of complain… we can get back to normal.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Wonder of CRT

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, critical race theory (CRT) is about splitting the races, attacking merit, and putting the minorities back in their place… while manipulating them into doing it themselves. We all know this to be true in our hearts. The proponents of that racist, foul and loathsome philosophy are plowing up ground that was settled decades ago. We as a culture, people and nation decided that “separate but equal” is anything but, all races are equal, and that boys are boys and girls are girls. A close friend of mine, Big John… told me BLM riots are driving a wedge between black and white. Then added, he had lived through those times and had no desire to go back. Isn’t that exactly what the advocates of CRT want, a return to segregation, open racism and dehumanization of people… based on an irrelevant trait?

Any ideology that teaches hate is the antitheses of human hearted. CRT is all about hate. All their ideas depend on hate, enhance their hatred and are hateful. When was the last time you saw love in the eyes of someone vomiting CRT? The only love in their eyes is the love of human suffering. No one rips someone down to build them up, they rip someone down… to rip them down. How is teaching children that whites are all racist and that only whites can be racist, is in any way redeeming, or could lead to redemption? No, it rips down a race, to rip down that race. No more no less. That we allow an ideology that teaches hate, heartlessness and vengeance, to be taught in the schools, is a strike against us. That people who would teach it, exist at all, is a strike against the nature of Mankind.

Critical race theory teaches, all white people are inherently racist, and that only white people can be racist… which are such obviously racist statements, they trigger cognitive dissonance in those who must believe to get along. Since so many youths today are wired to go along to get along, they take the nonsense into themselves, suppress the internal tension with anger, and finally becoming a zealot for the cause. When living on a landscape that is constantly changing, it becomes easier to be a non player character, learning not to think for oneself, than to risk the inadvertent retribution of those taught to be hateful, heartless and vengeful. Since such people are not tolerant of other viewpoints, being so certain theirs is the moral one, they silence the rest, by violence if necessary.

A recent story claimed that 90% of hate speech on Facebook was directed at Whites. Facebook solved the problem by changing the algorithm… not to notice hate speech directed against Whites. Then there is the open racism against Asians. Intentionally limiting their participation in the universities of their choice. Not based on merit but because they over achieve (envy). Progressives even claim that math is racist. Because Asians and Whites are supposedly better at it than other races. Making one wonder if the real problem the progressive, post modernist CRT pushers really have… is with merit? Envy after all is the progressive’s greatest sin. Since they cannot come out against merit, everything becomes about race, as a proxy to merit. So thoroughly do post modernists hate merit and love political favor.

That the main proponents of CRT are rich white patricians, is not ironic, it’s diabolic. The old adage, “from shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations…” is a problem for the elite. CRT is a means to bypass that fate for the half witted offspring of the malevolent rich. To that end the elite have ordered Critical Race Theory taught in the schools, inculcated on television and through the movies. Clearly CRT is not about race, but against merit, since a person of any race can be a “white supremacist,” for wrongthink. White and Asian people are inherently “supremacist,” for excelling in math, as Black and Brown people are hailed as perpetual “victims…” the foundational premise of CRT. Dehumanizing everyone. By elevating race above humanity, like Kung Sung Lung’s White Horse.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

On Tolerating Illegitimate Authority

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, if a Constitution’s provisions depend on the interpreter, it is not a Constitution, but cover for illegitimate rule. Increasingly, we see absurdity “interpreted” into the US Constitution, while at the same time, things clearly written in it are ignored. Amendments 1 through 10 are openly violated regularly. From our new State Religion of, “The Science,” a sect of atheism, to the police rifling through our cell phones, we have no Rights enumerated in the Constitution left. Instead, we have rights interpreted in, like abortion, freedom from religion and unlimited federal power based on the Interstate Commerce clause. Our constitutional interpreter, the Supreme Court, has perverted every aspect of that hallowed document, to suit the progressive faction’s pathological lust for power.

Name a controversy and there will be a diametric split between the conservatives and progressives. With most “conservatives,” voting with the progressives, against the Constitution as written and intended. Getting the elite to believe they are the smartest, wisest and most far sighted among us, is no more difficult than it was for Hitler, to convince the Germans they were. Meaning, without proper oversight, it would be amazing if the elite did not turn on the very document that gives them authority. As a result, the majority of the elite at any time are all too willing to ditch the Constitutional protections of our Rights, for absurdity that empowers them… to make the hard decisions. Which, for some reason, always requires us to give up wealth, rights and often, our lives.

The 1st Amendment is now twisted to crush Christianity, control the media, and stifle free speech of the masses. While Jan 6 proves, we are no longer allowed to assemble to have our grievances heard. The 2nd Amendment is a shadow of itself with bans on types of guns, bump stocks, etc… the Right to keep and bear arms is on the ropes. The 3rd Amendments privacy is now null and void, since the NSA can watch you take a bath, and probably have… through your cell phone camera, lap top or other hackable device. Which also obliterates the 4th amendment’s right against unreasonable searches and seizures… proven by Project Veritas raid by the FBI over the Biden Diary. The Rittenhouse trial showed us the 5th Amendments non incrimination is selectively enforced… depending on the judge.

Ask yourself, do we have a Right to a speedy trial with an impartial jury anymore? Not if the court system dislikes you. Some Jan 6 trespassers are still in prison waiting their speedy trial, 11 months later. In Rittenhouse, exculpatory witnesses were hidden by the prosecutor. Rendering the 6th amendment null and void. The Right to a Jury trial may be the case today, but one wonders how long that will be tolerated by the elite if juries start using jury nullification. Excessive bail shall not be imposed? What a joke! Bail doesn’t depend on the danger to society, as we saw in Waukesha, nor does it depend on the severity of the crime, like when a school shooter was let out on a 25K bond. It depends on political favor. The 9th Amendment is the most ignored and the 10th the most openly violated.

Since the elite follow none of the provisions enumerated in our Constitution, and still point to it as justifying their authority, one can only conclude the elite are stupid, else think we are. Illegitimate authority is always abused. Because the holder of that illicit authority is not constrained by the authorizing mechanism. Maybe that’s why the elite are imposing arbitrary lock downs, forced inoculations and covid camps in various countries and soon, New York. They violate the Constitution without thought, care or consequence. The elite are clearly illegitimate and abusing their usurped authority, but it is our fault. We turned a blind eye or tolerated it. How few of us see the ugly truth, even now… when it is biting us in the hind end? Tolerating illegitimate authority gets you nowhere.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

An Inquiry Into Sectarian Violence

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, I don’t understand why someone will fight to the death, over minutia, with one they agree with… almost totally. The other side of this coin is that the same people will tolerate the antithesis of what they believe without a murmur? The whole thing seems counter intuitive to me, but when hypothesis is in contradiction with observed reality, the reasoning person must discard hypothesis. Reality? You ask. Observed reality is that the enmity between Shia and Sunni, Protestant and Catholic, as well as the Chili cannot have beans and Chili must have beans debate… is far more spiteful than Muslim v Christian. It is almost like, those captured by their sectarian ideology, don’t see people who’s philosophy is far removed from them as counting. Only those they mostly agree with matter.

I would think people who think alike, or at least mostly alike would be better able to co-mingle, not less. I wonder if, agreement on everything but a single point, since agreement is so overpowering, that small disagreement is magnified because, at heart, we hold in reverence the person who’s opinion we must either have in its entirety, else kill them. An illogic like that of infatuated love. A knifes edge between adoration and hate. At heart then, the most ardent hater of Mormonism, really would like to convert them, and in doing so would adore them. As long as the former Mormons followed the new lore to the letter. This also applies to a lesser extent to the next level out. That the most ardent haters of Islam, Christianity or beans in chili, want the respect and agreement of the other.

Obviously, there are depths of violence that some will go that others will not. Which, I reckon, is a matter of culture. I think we can all agree that mankind is better served where sectarian violence, and indeed all violence, is kept to a minimum, culturally, not criminally. For a myriad of reasons, not the least of which is the wealth generated, for everyone, by the economic booms that occur in times of quiescence. It is no uncanny coincidence then, that those cultures where sectarian violence is common, have lower standards of living. It would be shocking if this were not true. The more violent the combatants, the harder it is to run a business, raise children or get a good chilidog. Sane people will seek to actively foster a culture, where sectarian squabbles can be settled, without a blade.

How do we change a culture, to make sectarian violence utterly unacceptable, so much so that those who engage in it are socially ostracized. Is there any way to do that? Well Timmy, there is… it’s called Capitalism. No Timmy, Capitalism is perfectly safe, but communism can poke your little eyes out, so wear these safety goggles when handling it. When capitalism, not democracy, is introduced into a culture, it changes that culture. Anti Capitalists hate this. When your livelihood depends on selling a product, service or idea, pragmatism is vital. The pragmatic petite bourgeoisie has an advantage, driving his competitors to be pragmatic. That pragmatism infiltrates the culture making it less accepting of business interrupting violence. People weigh personal interests rather than tribal.

In those places where we can get culture to change… so that sectarian disagreements are less likely to come to open violence, we have moved the needle a point towards good. Since sectarian violence is almost inevitable given human nature, and is so detrimental to society, the economy and humanity, limiting the violence, not the disagreements, is a must. To that end, in those cultures where sectarian violence is common and especially where it often turns deadly, an inoculation of free enterprise is just what the doctor ordered. The elite tried introducing democracy around the world, leaving in place the socialist kleptocracies, spending thousands of lives and billions of dollars doing it. They failed. Maybe we should try something else for a change? Something that costs less and earns more. For everyone.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Public Anti Education

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, sending a kid into the world to compete without a knowledge of Christianity, is like forcing them to play a game of chess without knowing the rules. Our atheistic overlords would have us believe that the schools, culture and peer pressure have no effect whatsoever on our children, and so we should tolerate them swimming in, and drinking from… a cesspool. On the other hand, they strictly forbid any teaching of Christianity to their kids, in the public schools. Citing separation of church and state. That it is unfair to subject an atheist’s kid to Christian teachings, I suppose because they may become Christians, which would confound their parents. Of course, this whole argument is a distraction, the real question is, would kids be better served to know about Christianity, or not?

The West and western ideology is the hegemonic system on the planet today. The Enlightenment didn’t happen in Confucius’ Middle Kingdom, The height of Rome or the Caliphate, it happened in Christian Europe, as a natural consequence to the Renaissance. Both of which opened the door to the philosophical concepts that gave us the Industrial Revolution. All of which are based on Christian teachings. To understand great European and American literature, one must know the Bible. Otherwise most of the wisdom, humor and wit is lost on the reader. How can you understand a theory if the foundation is shrouded in mystery? Even the atheists accept, for the most part, the morality that comes to us from Christianity, without even knowing it. Due to their self imposed ignorance.

The progressives want to plow up settled land. It is impossible to contend with the spurious arguments of the progressives without at least some grounding in Christian teachings. They argue against the very foundation of human culture, science and knowledge. So they can rebuild it more to their liking. As the followers of Robespierre changed the clock, days of the week and the year, to Year 1. Simply as an arrogant affront to history, the Bible and God. Exclaiming, “We are now gods and can set the very hours of the day!” All of which failed. Because their inventions were less efficient than the hours of the day and days of the week derived from the Bible. Unless you know the arguments that defeated sophistry before, when progressives were called sophists, it’s unlikely one will invent them offhand.

Science is based on the same premises as Christianity. That the world (God made) is understandable, logical and ordered. This is one of the fundamental ideas that allowed Mankind to open the scientific method expansion pack, which, after a short bit allowed us to open the Industrial expansion as well. Creating the technological society we live in today. That so few of us are grounded in Christianity, let alone the basics of mechanics, manufacturing or farming, is testament to the fragility of our system. Were there even a short hiccup, people would find growing their own food much more difficult, than moving icons on a computer screen. Then again, most wouldn’t even get to try to farm, since so few understand Christian reciprocity, the Golden Rule… instead taught envy, sloth and wrath.

Anyone who lacks a foundation in Christian teachings, writings and history, is at a severe disadvantage to those who do. Much of Western lore is lost to them. As the rock solid foundation of the ethos, becomes a morass of absurd claims about slavery, racism and social justice. They are even wounded psychically. Those denied the purpose that Belief gives will turn to nihilism or absurdity. Even as the arguments the atheists use, to deny all children the advantages of a real education, are pure sophistry. They know it as well… but hope our education is so poor, we don’t even know what the word means. Parents need to pull their children from the public schools, start a private school if you must, but abandon the anti education the government is doling out. To do any less is to hobble your own child.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Madison’s Warning

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, we are living the tyranny that Madison warned us would come about, in Federalist Paper Number 10. Namely, that the progressive faction controls the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches. Not only that, but they also have a political monopoly on big tech, the media, education, medicine, corporate boards and even many small businesses. You see, progressivism is the philosophy of the elite in the West today. That faction has exceeded what Madison warned us about, by orders of magnitude, and wields powers of surveillance, censorship and outright oppression, that our Founding Fathers could not have dreamt of. In the last decade the progressives have shred the US Constitution, the democratic process and morality, establishing totalitarianism… to save democracy.

The Founding Fathers cut their teeth in a period of tyranny by the British crown. They knew all too well, the means the king had used to oppress the people, and set themselves to stopping such abuses from ever occurring again. Soldiers would barge into homes at all hours demanding to search their homes and papers without warrant. Like the police do now when they browse through people’s cell phones without a warrant. Show trials to make examples of the politically disfavored was common in colonial times, to enforce, expand and prove the power of the king and his minions. Just as show trials are all the rage today, as in Rittenhouse, Maxwell and the Jan 6 commission. They either vilify the disfavored, protect the favored or forward a narrative… justice is irrelevant.

In a vibrant culture there are a multitude of points of view that are necessarily at odds with each other. In those rare times and places, where they are allowed to compete in the arena of ideas, the best ones always win out. In such societies there is an interplay between the liberal elements and the conservative. The liberal ever seeking and trying new ideas. The conservative continually sorting the wheat from the chaff. In a functional society this interplay leads to the betterment in the lot of Mankind. Often those best ideas are the ones most detested by the elite however. Those societies where only the elite’s point of view is allowed, stultify, no matter what that point of view is. The liberal role taken to the extreme becomes Communism and the conservative becomes the Victorian era.

Initially, the Founders tried a confederation, that proved to be too chaotic. Leading to the Constitutional Convention. In creating a republic, where the factions can argue their truths in the arena of ideas, the best idea winning, the Founders showed they understood the nature of Man. They had read the classics, Plutarch, Livy, etc… and set up a republic with the intent to limit the power of a faction to become a hegemony. They knew the story of Marius and Sulla, and how that filial fighting ripped Rome apart. They used the ideas of Montesquieu, to break the Judicial from the Executive, further protecting society from a runaway Executive. Knowing the malevolent nature of people, the Founders did everything in their philosophy, to limit the power of the elite. Obviously, they failed… or have they?

The Founders wouldn’t recognize the US today. Not because of the technology, hairstyles or speech, but the government. The armed bureaucracy would be an anathema to them. That it is based on rulings like Wickard v Filburn, make it the fault of Hamilton’s, “least dangerous branch.” The Founders fully expected rogue executives, like Wilson, FDR and Biden. They didn’t expect an ideology so pernicious that it oozed into every crevice of government, culture and the elite. That, like a reactor denied the coolant of debate, would melt the elite into a single radioactive ingot of tyranny. Creating the dystopian despotism we are currently watching being fused together before our very eyes. As we ignore the warnings of the Founding Fathers, the power they gave us to stop it, and do nothing but grumble.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Oligarchy Is Our Undoing

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, when a system is doing the opposite of its intended function, it is time to examine that system with an eye to correcting it. The legal system for example. It is supposed to adjudicate disagreements, enforce law and by doing so, facilitate the smooth operation of the economy. Today the legal system in the US does the opposite. It has become an impossible hurdle for business, individuals and even government to get over. Instead of facilitating the smooth interactions between economic actors, the legal system gets in the way, by undermining the utility of contracts, ambulance chasing and using law as a weapon. There have been a few attempts at limiting the problems that rogue lawyers pose, like anti SLAP legislation in several states, but with limited effect.

Rather than helping individuals settle disagreements, justly, the legal system does just the opposite. Court costs exclude the poor from using them to settle disagreements. Which lands them in criminal court, when they resort to settling disagreements, personally. Since they have no other recourse. Because the legal system demands to be unjustly enriched one way or another. If the legal system was set up to find justice, not political favor, the political favor of the advocate would be irrelevant. That an expensive legal team can get a rich scumbag off, while an innocent poor man with a public defender is screwed, is proof enough of the legal system’s injustice. One thing you know is true, if a system set up to mete out justice, metes out injustice instead, it is running counter to its goal.

Businesses are choked by the legal system in the US today. So much so, they move industry offshore to escape the legal morass of the US. The legal fees of the permitting process alone, for a firm to break ground in an industry unfriendly state, can run to a billion, before you even touch the ground with a shovel. Then there are the regulations that are supposed to make workers safe… by insuring they don’t have jobs. Add to it the constant threat of a frivolous lawsuit over spilled coffee, and you have a business environment in the US that is as toxic to enterprise, as Venus’s surface is to human life. A well functioning legal system would facilitate business, not torture it, like sand fleas would a beagle puppy’s face as it’s tied down. Profitable for the sand fleas…. until the experiment ends.

Even government finds the legal system a barrier to building infrastructure. In Vermont, a road was proposed back in the 1970s, to facilitate commuter traffic to a large IBM plant in Essex VT, and around the Burlington corridor. The permitting process and resulting lawsuits took about 30 years. Once the lawsuits were put to bed, the contractors began work. A lawyer filed a motion to stop it and re-litigate the whole thing, a judge agreed, and the tens of millions of dollars spent on permitting, regulation, environmental testing, ground work and legal fees was flushed down the toilet, the road didn’t get built. IBM moved out, to be replaced with gangs, violence and trust funders. In this case, we see that the legal system harvested incalculable dollars from the process, like a plague spreading parasite.

How many of the trillions the government is supposed to spend, on infrastructure, will be used to pay lawyers to hold it up? I bet the majority that is earmarked for infrastructure. Throwing a trillion dollars into the water will surely bring out every piranha in the river. Despite the Chinese Communist Party being an existential threat to the World, we send it all our money, because the legal system makes it impossible to run a business in the US. Since the legal system has made it more profitable for a firm to spend on political payola, than improving plant, efficiency or product. Meanwhile, the individual, unless rich, connected or favored, is ground in the wheels of injustice. When a system does the opposite of its intended function, but it worked before, the problem is… the elite in it are corrupt. Replace them.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

On The US, EU and NATO’s Involvement in Ukraine

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, if the politicians in the US want to see how quickly the American people can go from a blue, to a white heat, all they need do is get involved in Ukraine. The American people are sick and tired of foreign wars. With Afghanistan fresh on our minds with thousands of men and women wounded and killed in the war to defeat the Taliban. Then Biden gave Afghanistan to them on a platter, with 80 billion in weapons, as a parting gift. Showing us what the elite think of our kids. Even as there is zero accountability for the disaster, with some say ten thousand plus US citizens still trapped there, the elite want to get us involved in a war with Russia? How stupid do they think we are? More fittingly, how stupid are they? Such brainiacs should be managing a welfare check, not NATO’s arsenal.

There are no US national security interests in Ukraine. Moreover, the US challenging Russia in Ukraine, is like Russia staging troops in Mexico. The US would never allow such a thing and neither will Russia. Plus, the Russians are justifiably paranoid about invasion from the West. If NATO stops pushing ever closer to Russia, the pressure will be off, and Russia won’t have to risk its valuable youth. In fact, I understand Putin has said that if NATO signs a treaty, forbidding the use of Ukraine as a staging ground for invasion of Russia, he will pull his troops back. Obviously unacceptable, for powers planning on staging troops there to invade… ala, 1941, 1914, 1852 and 1812. Why start a world war, with the upside down demographics in the world today… to kill all the child bearing?

Drawing the US into a confrontation with Russia threatens the existence of the world itself. If anyone has forgot, Russia has enough nuclear weapons and the capability to deliver them, to destroy the world. Mutually assured destruction was and still is in effect. So, the elite are willing to risk a species wide annihilation, to further their personal feud with Vladimir Putin? Are they that childish, idiotic and stupid? Some would argue, yes, they are indeed that stupid. I wonder if those that pull the strings have a plan though. Maybe they are willing to risk blowing up the world to get Taiwan into the hands of the CCP? Perhaps they have vast underground bunkers or something to hide in while the world burns? “Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, [only] the Shadow knows.”

If the US is embroiled in a war with Russia over Donbass, what will we do if China invades Taiwan, an island where 90% of the world’s semiconductors are made, and therefore vital to national security? Will the US fight a two front war with two nuclear powers? That sounds like a repeat of WWII to me. A war raging in Europe and the US drawn into a conflict in the Pacific. Who thinks the CCP will have the spine that Hirohito had in the end, and capitulate, rather than see their nation ruined? Not me. If the Communists can’t have it… no one can. Scorched earth is the communist way, they have and are willing, to do it again. This time to the whole world. There is no need for this future to occur though. Although, I find it hard to understand how our elite can be that stupid… or malevolent.

Of course, people with a track record of epic failure after disastrous blunder, would say we should get involved in Ukraine. In an episode of Hogan’s Heroes, Hogan was disarming a bomb, not knowing which wire to cut, he asked Klink. Klink pointed one out, so Hogan cut the other. Knowing Klink is always wrong… like the national security apparatus. They are the colonel Klinks of the world made Fuhrers. After the disaster in Afghanistan, brought to us by our inept, or malevolent elite, they want to embroil us in another war, a real war, with a real adversary, that will give the CCP leave to invade Taiwan. Triggering a world war… and recession, due to the stoppage of semi conductor shipments. Will we set back and let them start another war? A world ending war? What do your kids mean to you?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Who Runs The Show?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, one of the advantages of a top down totalitarian governmental structure, especially one far removed from the people, is that if an outsider wants to control it, they need only take control of a few individuals… and the whole falls into their hand. The more separated from the masses, and the more singly the elite wield power, the easier it is. An elite that are far distant from the people they rule, as in a global government, are necessarily harder to monitor. If the world capital is in Europe, and you live in Indonesia, it is very difficult to know what’s going on at the seat of power. Moreover, the more power one has, the more they prefer to exploit it in darkness. Making transparency in a totalitarian government a bad joke. Get a lever on the right people in such a system… and voila it’s yours.

A person with sufficient intellect, malevolence and dark triad traits, coupled with the means, can easily get another under their control. Be it by addiction, blackmail, or threatening loved ones, there are a myriad of ways a glistening turd can get someone under their spell. Some claim Epstein was engaged in just such activity at the behest of certain national spy agencies. Getting blackmail dirt, on powerful people doing illegal things, with children. If that isn’t malevolent, pathological or Machiavellian enough for you, it is obvious that the same people who employed Epstein to get dirt on the rich and powerful, had him strangled in a maximum security facility, under the noses of the very powerful people… that are clearly under their control. Else they couldn’t have covered it up. To beg the question.

If you think those that work in the dark with a license to kill, are saints, I have an asteroid to sell you. People at the top of the permanent bureaucracy, the Interagency or deep state, have a lifetime job, with little to no oversight, and every one has a private army they call police, the IRS for example. If someone were to get the first and second tier bureaucrats and majority leaders under their power, they would run the show in the US. Unless someone became President they couldn’t control. Then they could use their minions to destroy those people, with hoaxes generating special prosecutors, impeachments due to unnamed whistle blowers, and using the FBI to go after a girl’s diary. Of course, such an evil conspiracy would be called out, then discredited as a conspiracy theory.

Functionally then, the less oversight the elite have, the more susceptible they are to being manipulated. Which means that in a twist of fate, it is actually in the elite’s best interest to have total oversight, transparency and accountability. If they are on a monitor twenty four seven, even if compromised, they cannot operate freely. Because, it is very hard to tell someone what to do when their phone is bugged, without an elaborate and changing code. Let’s face it, the half wits we have in congress are incapable of such subterfuge, drunkenly groping a waitress is more their intellectual grade. Ironically then, the elite would be best served to allow their every action to be overseen with constant monitoring, available in real time on the Internet, and saved for later viewing at anytime… by anyone. For their own good.

In the US, Europe or any oligarchical government then, all a malevolent actor would need do is take control of a few dozen people, by hook or by crook, and the system would work for them, not the people. If that happened, you would see things like… the legal system becoming an impediment instead of facilitating business, lobbying being more profitable than investing in plant, product or innovation. The nation’s boarders would be wide open. There would be hopelessness along with its ugly children, drug addiction, disease and generational poverty. Protests would be allowed or crushed depending on politics, the education system would be turned to political indoctrination and teaching absurdities, instead of educating children, while manufacturing would flee the corruption. Oh wait…

Sincerely,

John Pepin
