Dear friends,

The legal system has a great big flaw,
It exploits its authority power to claw,
Corruptocracy,
A Kritocracy,
That abuses us under color of law.

Politics are a truly deep fen,
Politicians do as they ken,
Power is like wine,
Any system is fine,
As long as it only serves them.

There once was a system that failed,
Ushering in terror wherever it prevailed,
Beloved so much,
A deadly touch,
Angry at reality the true zealots wailed.

There once was an idealist blind,
A man of repute and so unkind,
With eyes wide,
He brushed aside,
And proved he had no logical mind.

There was a legal system of degeneracy,
That served the powerful with ______,
It corroded away because,
That’s what reality ____,
Leaving only idealists to believe in its _________.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
