It seems to me, at this point our default position should be that everything the elite tell us is a lie… until proven conclusively to be the truth. To take any other position is obviously naive. The last decade has either been the most untruthful in human history, or else it is because of social media and new media (detection bias), we are able to see it for the first time. Either way, the media, elite, and institutions have proven themselves inveterate liars. I wonder, how many lies would you have to catch your spouse, best friend, or child in, before you lost faith in their word? Maybe it’s not the amount of lies but the severity? If a spouse lied about eating a piece of cake or having an affair, for example. In the case of our elites, they lie constantly and significantly.
If you pay any attention to congressional hearings, it quickly becomes obvious that perjury is part of the job description for bureaucrats. Kash Patel claimed Epstein had no co-conspirators, under oath, while Ghislaine Maxwell is in prison for being a co-conspirator is one recent example. Fauci’s lies were both significant since they cost people their lives, and at the same frequency as microwaves. Remember being told to wear two masks because one wasn’t good enough… after being told a single cloth mask was an effective defense against Covid? That “vaccine” they forced many to take at risk of our careers turned out to be utterly ineffective, but deadly. Everyone I know who took the clot shot got Covid and more than once! Meanwhile, the few I know who took horse paste didn’t get it.
Remember the Russian Collusion Hoax? That was a good one. The elite claimed Trump was having Russian prostitutes pee on him. When that was proven to be absurd, the hoax changed and evolved. Each new incarnation costing this country billions of dollars and further obliterating our trust in government. Special investigators were set up to investigate the hoax and investigate the investigation. Every bit of it was a lie by the FBI. That vaunted law enforcement agency lies when the truth would serve them better. They specialize in frame jobs like the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot… that was entirely of FBI design. That frame took two trials to get the marks convicted. The second one in direct violation of double jeopardy, as it also denied them the right to confront their accusers.
I could go on and on with ever more heinous and frequent lies told to us by the elite, because examples abound. No regular person’s reputation could withstand so many significant lies. Your reputation would crumble under any one of them… and you would face consequences for it. The elite, on the other hand, have yet to be punished in the least for any of their lies. There is an old saying, if your government lies to you it’s politics, but if you lie to your government it’s a felony. This asymmetric power structure is further proof that we can’t trust a word that emanates from the lips of our leaders. They suffer no consequences for even the most egregious lies. Prevarications that cost people their very lives, so why would they tell the truth about anything… if there is no downside and only upside?
This is why we feel like the ground shifts under our feet so much. We stand on a raft of lies. The elite lie about everything all the time. We know this is the way it is because of the astonishing amount of lies they have told in just the last few years. Millions of people are dead because of the lies about Covid, the Vaccine, and masks alone. How many have died in the wars started by lies? The lies of the elite have very real consequences for us. We pay the price in blood, lost wealth, and life outcomes. They benefit from the lies in power, wealth, and access to playthings. That’s why we must default to, everything the elite say is a lie, unless proven beyond any shadow of a doubt… and even then it’s probably missing context. So stop being patsies and we’ll stop paying in blood.
