Problem Solving 101

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, we are confronted with a myriad of problems every day, then solve them by whatever means we have become accustomed to, some ways effective, others parasitic and many… carnivorous. The way we solve our life problems is usually the result of the aggregate of ways we have solved them in the past. When we are children all our problems are solved by our parents, parent or orphanage. As we grow we learn to solve them ourselves, out of impatience, dissatisfaction with our parents solutions, else we are on our own and must solve them ourselves. I wonder if it isn’t a valid role of elementary school then, to teach effective ways to solve daily problems? Doing so would eliminate much of the drug related crime in our culture, improve the life outcomes of the students and humanity itself.

You are cold, that is a problem, moreover, you have to walk a mile in that cold to get home. The solution that first presents itself is the means by which you usually solve problems. Would you rob a weaker person of their coat, car or both? Maybe call home and beg a ride? Would you man up an take it? Would you pick dry grass and stuff it between your shirts to keep warm? Would you take a cab, a bus or hitch hike? The possible solutions are infinite. The solution someone chooses though, reflects their upbringing, maturity and human heartedness. The carnivorous way to solve it would be to take a coat, car or both, from a weaker person. The parasitic way would be to beg a ride. The person with personal agency would stuff their shirt with dry grass, take a bus, cab or man up and deal with it.

I believe that the reason some people take the carnivorous and parasitic paths is they were never properly taught how to solve problems for themselves. Often it is the all consuming mother who hobbles her children into parasites. A violent frustrated father can do enormous damage as well. He will often turn his children into carnivores. Both means are only effective, if someone else is available to leach off, use, else rob. If the carnivore or parasite is trapped without a victim, they are left unable to solve problems. Since people who solve their problems by sucking off someone else, or just taking what they want, by definition, must have others available at all times, as their only means to solve life’s daily problems… so are probably extroverts. This illustrates a great weakness in those solutions.

I have found that the effective way to solve problems, is to look at how others have solved them in the past, apply those solutions in a thought experiment to the situation, and use the one that is the most effective at this time given these circumstances. The utility of this scheme depends on the examples one has to compare. Examples come from life experience, stories and religion. Since life experience, requires life experience, that avenue of examples is cut off from children. This is why I think that every child should be told all the fables, be made to read Horatio Alger stories and when older, Plutarch’s Lives. Not in a vacuum but first introducing to them why they are reading these stories. This is why we have religion, fables and stories. Our lore exists to educate children about life.

Imagine if most people had the tools to solve their own problems without resorting to theft, begging or fraud? The world would be a much better place to live, raise children and retire in. Such a world starts with the education system. Today’s failing curriculum needs to be replaced with something else. By every metric, other than zealous clutching to an ideology, today’s graduates are educationally retarded. Knowing how to have safe anal intercourse, is not as valuable for a child to know as the Golden Rule, skepticism and pragmatism. Learning the proper way to discard a condom cannot be as important for a teen, as knowing how to create a profit loss statement, how to read cursive or change a tire. Teach our kids to solve their own problems… and the problems of society will vanish.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Can Science Answer Everything?

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, there are things that science just cannot understand, nor can it ever, and the more it tries, the more understanding escapes it. Take a bug for example. An entomologist can explain everything there is to know about the form, color and substance. He or she can wax poetic on their life styles, three part bodies, except for arachnids, and how they enhance the habitat. Perhaps she can even decode a bug’s DNA. Nevertheless, the more in depth his or her knowledge of insects and arachnids, the less they understand bugs. Because… a bug, horse or salamander, can only be really understood intuitively. Science does reduction well and intuition poorly. Because really creative scientists are scattered in a Pareto distribution while most are conscientious and closed minded.

A two year old understands what a bug is. How is that possible, without a careful study of the genus, species and it’s role in the environment? Intuitively, that’s how. No one needs to explain to a child that an ant is a bug as is a spider. They know it without having all the possible connotations of what a bug is, or is not, explained to them. Ask them what makes a bug… a bug? They will probably answer, “It is icky.” Intuiting the feeling that certain life forms give them, as the wharp and whoof of that life form… or in other words, the essence of bugness. Ask a child what a horse is, and the tot will reply, “A big animal!” They quickly understand the difference between a horse and cow though. Moreover, no child will mistake a snake for a bug, nor can they be convinced a white horse is not a horse.

Science is immensely important but when you put something in a realm it is not supposed to be in, no matter how virtuous, useful and effective it is in its rightful realm, it cannot help but be the bull in a china shop outside it. Smashing instead of fixing because it is out of place. Science can answer such amazing questions as what is the fundamental building blocks of reality? Science seems at this point, (until it plumbs the next lower level of reality) that reality is made up of quarks, muons, gluons and a host of other exotic quantum “particles.” It has failed at answering why the universe is here, what came before the “big bang.” and how can unconscious matter be conscious? Why? Because these are questions that science cannot answer. They cannot be resolved by simplification… only by vision.

Intuition is the basis for every scientific advance that has ever happened. Someone intuited an idea, used the scientific method to determine if it had merit, then published it so others could recreate the phenomenon and verify the conclusion. Great paradigm changing leaps are made this way. Otherwise, most science is grinding down an idea to its constituents in reductionist fashion. The goal is to prove the theory rather than to test it. When some data comes in that is a conundrum, it is incorporated into the present paradigm without a thought. Dark matter and dark energy are two examples everyone has heard about. Dozens of other problems with the present theories exist as well though, proving the present scientific paradigm is less than an ideal representation of what is real.

Such deep questions can be aided by scientific inquiry, but in the end, can only be answered by intuition. Not just untested intuition but unselfish intuition guided by human experience. There are questions that we must answer that science can only mislead us on. Which is why we still need religion, it is a wealth of understanding into the nature of humanity and the good life, that science cannot ever hope to understand, let alone teach us. Not just religion but art, poetry and literature all elevate, teach and open us in ways that science is unable to. Therefore, granting to science that which rightfully belongs to religion, art and literature… perverts them all. Science has its place, is valuable and has helped us immeasurably, but it cannot understand even the simple intuitive truth of the Golden Rule.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

How Perpetrators Transfer Blame

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, an astounding play on logic… for the perpetrators of history’s atrocities to blame the victims. As the Russians were vilified for the Soviet era, the Germans for WWII, and the entire West for the slavery the West outlawed a hundred fifty years ago, the elite, who were, are, and always will be the culprits, transfer blame for their crimes. The same will be true when North Korea eventually falls. The global elite will blame the people of North Korea for the Kim dynasty’s crimes against them. This is an established means of twisting blame from the elite perpetrator to his victims… so the millennia long crime spree can continue. Crimes committed by government are always the fault of the elite, since the elite run the government, the comeuppance for them by the pitchfork.

When a criminal is not punished, a triple injustice is done, the victim is ignored, society is harmed and that crime will continue, insuring more victims. Since this is the case for small crimes, how much more so of big crimes? We punish bank robbery to prevent bank robbery, yet we don’t punish the elite when they create a virus in a lab, release it either through stupidity or malevolence, then use their positions of power to magnify the deaths that result from their intransigence… and expect there will be no punishment? Allowing them to get away with such a stunning crime against humanity, spits in the face of the dead, injured and their families, corrodes the people’s faith in our institutions, and sets up the scenario for more such crimes in the future. All because the elite are above the law.

Most nations begin in some form of virtue and the leaders, over time, lead the people to corruption. This is the natural evolution of government. Corruption doesn’t just materialize in a vacuum, like stray particles in the quantum foam, but is actively fostered by the elite. Typically using some form of the Hegelian dialectic. They create a pernicious incentive by some legislation, regulation or fiat. When the predicted problem arises, they exploit the people’s reaction to justify another law, regulation, or fiat to “solve” the problem created by the first action. This of course has undesired consequences, and so more power must be granted to the elite to solve that problem… and so on. As the snowball of laws, regulations and edicts grows, eventually it cannot be moved and the nation grinds to a halt.

Once a nation has become utterly corrupted by the elite, the people rise up and change the situation with pitchforks, else the edifice collapses. The American Revolution of 1776 was just that. Farmers rising up with pitch forks, muskets and filled with the human fervor for freedom. Thankfully, they were led by moral Christian men, at the epitome of Enlightenment thinking. Dionysius the tyrant of Syracuse was overthrown, not once, but twice. Once by Dion. Then Dion was overthrown, for being too easy on Dionysius’ loyal men, and the tyrant reinstalled. Then the people’s lamentations were met by Timoleon of Corinth who led the final overthrow of the tyrant. Oppressors never willingly give way for more human hearted replacements, they are only replaced by force, or collapse… as will be the CCP.

Maybe a better paradigm would be to interrupt the evolution from virtue to corruption? Force absolute transparency on government, not the window dressing of the freedom of information act, but make transparency obligatory and the default. “The more laws the less justice” – Cicero. If a law, regulation or edict creates unforeseen consequences, repeal it… instead of adding more pages to an already cosmic sized legal code. Trump’s brilliant idea, to force the bureaucracy to remove two regulations for every one they add, worked superbly. The list of ways to improve the situation for the betterment of mankind is infinite. The hard part… is implementing any of them. Because the corrupt elite’s subversion rests on unjust laws. Since no corrupt elite will investigate themselves, it is up to us, to demand they be held to their own laws, as strictly as they would hold a poorly socialized red headed orphan.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Pathological Liars

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, our governments in Australia, Britain, Canada, France, Germany and the US, have become pathological liars. To come to any other conclusion given recent events would be Pollyannish. What have they lied about… you may ask. The lies range from the small to the giant and span the range. From claiming cloth masks don’t work, then they do and you must wear them, back to they don’t work anymore but you still have to wear them… to the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping was an organic crime, when it was in fact hatched by, paid for and manned by the FBI, the patsies pulled in to promote a political candidate and ideology. Very pathological of them. It has got to the point that when any government agent tells you anything, the sky is blue for example… the truth is the exact opposite.

In the US the lies have become so apparent the elite don’t even pretend they aren’t lies… only that we are legally bound to repeat them, and pay lip service to their veracity. The “fact checkers” as well as the New York Times, in recent lawsuits with Project Veritas and others, have admitted in legal filings, their fact checks and news pages are in fact opinion, so the courts cannot hold them to the standard of truth. These are the people backing the false narratives the pathological liars spew. You have to admit, filing documents in court, under oath, professing to be liars, is pretty damning. Nevertheless, many still believe anything the admitted liars at the NYT, and the court documented lying fact checkers say. Probably because they are parroting our lying overlords… and you have to believe them, or go to jail.

A particularly egregious lie that still flies under the radar is the cover up of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting. The story that a guy, a “lone shooter,” who supposedly shot all those conservatives at a country music festival, from multiple locations, with a bump stock that never jammed, littering the ground with casings at every gate to the site, shooting through a window the police had to break later, and even continuing the gunfire after he was dead, in several locations, including the Vegas airport tarmac… stretches the credibility of the elite feeding us that bullshit. An attack on American’s that took the lives of over 50 people and wounded over 400, you would think the media would have investigated it for more than a week… considering they are still wall to wall about the false flag “insurrection.”

The latest batch of JFK files show that the government lied about the JFK assassination. That is why the national security apparatus demanded the files be kept sealed for decades. Some still are. The elite have lied for so long, about so much, they have lost the ability to distinguish between truth and falsity. They have become so pathological, they cannot help themselves, making claims that are transparently obviously a lie. Like the recent Synagogue attack by a Muslim chanting Islamic diatribes, holding Jews captive for leverage to get a terrorist released… and the FBI claims they have no idea of a motive? They are not that stupid. Their lies could not be more obvious… or pathological. Now there is evidence the terrorist was let into the country by the FBI despite his Islamic terrorist ties? Is that not pathological?

How many people are dead, because the bureaucracy saw fit to transfer the technology to make chimeric viruses to the CCP, then funded their creation, leading directly to the Covid pandemic? Next, our governments, not simply content to have created and either released intentionally else stupidly that deadly pathogen, decided to vilify safe, inexpensive medicines they know work against the virus, even taking doctor’s licenses for saving patients. It has got to the point that we have to act, else we are ignoring Solzhenitsyn’s warning, and in doing so, condemning many to spend their lives in a neo gulag archipelago. Only a fool trusts a known pathological liar. Skepticism used to protect a clearly false narrative, is not skepticism, it is stupidity. Yet that is what passes for wisdom today. Let’s instead use our skepticism to examine the lies, liars and what is their motivation. Then act accordingly.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Regulation, Licensing and Corporatism

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the idea of regulation, licensing and other means of government oversight, sound good in theory but in practice, result in the opposite of what we are told they would. In fact, they all inevitably lead to corporatism. Anyone who has read my articles in the past know I am not a big fan of corporatism. Not just because it is how Goebbels described the National Socialist system, or that it is the globalist plan but because, pragmatically, it results in a bad outcome for everyone… but the elite. The problem with regulation, is that instead of leveling the playing field, it always gives a politically favored player an upper hand. Licensing is another barrier to entry that is controlled by gatekeepers. Ideally, to keep dangerous frauds out of the marketplace, in reality, to foster progressive corporatism.

The idea of licensing, to keep bad actors out of the marketplace, is noble but foolhardy. If history teaches us anything, it is that high barriers to entry don’t keep out bad actors, but allow them to display their credentials as they defraud. Else how could Bernie Madoff, Enron and the past Pfiser scandals happen? The 2008 financial crisis occured in the most regulated industry on the planet. Far from saving people from frauds, licensing, regulation and an increasingly litigious society protects the powerful criminals while keeping innovation, competition and the work load low. All the corporatist need do is lobby congress for legislation. Lastly, look at the train wreck of the CDC, NIH and WHO’s response to the covid pandemic. Banning Ivermectin and Hydroxy alone probably killed millions.

Licensing elevates book learning above hands on tutoring. They create an elite that is established, not by merit, but by credentials. Those at the top of the guild hierarchy, are not necessarily the most accomplished, they are usually the most lettered. As lettering becomes ever more important actual skill becomes less. As with Fauci. You see this in the fact some of the best plumbers, electricians and entrepreneurs have only minimal credentials, but years of practice. Imagine how quickly we would face famine if the government established a licensing procedure to grow food? A prerequisite to licensing could be a doctorate in botany. Don’t laugh too loud, it could happen. If it did, the US would collapse as a food producing nation. Since this is so about farming, how much more so about everything else?

Regulations cannot be used as they are billed because of human nature. We are not capable of self regulating, policing or prosecuting… if we have a stake in the outcome. Those who pass regulations, in this same way, have a stake in the outcome, and it is not the betterment of mankind. Their stake is making money, amassing power and gathering political allies. Those who pass regulations are also by definition, the elite, and it is easy to get an elite to think he or she is smarter, wiser and heck, just dog gone better, than the masses they regulate. As a result, regulations are never done to benefit the hoi polloi, who don’t deserve the beneficence of the bureaucratic elite in the first place, but to satisfy some want of the elite themselves, the justification an afterthought.

Even as the elite call for ever more regulation, licensing and oversight of the economy, they mislabel (or lie) calling a corporatist system… free enterprise. Our corporatist masters, melding government, media and corporations, like Google, Facebook and Twitter, (propagandists and censors) work hand in hand with government actors to create the fear, confusion and mistrust, that can mutate our system of limited federal government, to a global unlimited corporatist one. Instead of national socialist, it will be global socialist… very progressive. Judging by what we can see, the elite are mostly all on board with the transformation, since they are so willing to lie, cheat and steal to get it. Looks like the national socialists won the war after all… it just took a few decades for their fifth column to get it done.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Lies Will Lead To The Great Snap Back

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, lies are only effective, if people believe them. When people stop believing the lies, they lose their power to affect change, and I think people are losing their trust in the liars. That would be one sign that the great snap back has started. I have posited for awhile now, that today’s progressive hegemony will become so revolting to people, it will lead to a great snap back. A Renaissance of morality, patriotism, complete families, well educated entrepreneurial young adults and an end to the drug problem will ensue. The opposite of today, or, a snap back. Sadly, the elite will pervert it, as they always do. Leading to the next rise of progressivism, and its fascination with elitism, socialism and Satanism. So the cycle will begin anew, until then, we may have an opportunity to form a better future.

Since progressivism and indeed all socialist ideologies are built upon a bed of lies, if people turned away from the lies and stopped repeating them, the progressive artifice would collapse like a red super giant deprived of nuclear fuel. Easier said than done though. When you live in a sewer, you stop smelling the sewage, because you get used to it. We have become inured to the lies, so comfortable with them we lack cognitive dissonance when we chant, all cultures are equal, (justifying modern slavery, human sacrifice and a stratified social structure) but Western culture is bad, (because we had slavery before we outlawed it, a century ago). Mark Twain supposedly said, “It is easier to get a man to believe a lie then to divest him of it.” A play on words that rings true to me based on my experience.

The problem with lies is that the truth always eventually gets out. If not the whole truth, enough of it to undermine any edifice that is built upon them. Building anything on a foundation of lies, is like using cardboard for the footings of a building. Eventually, if even a drop of water (truth) gets to it, it will rot away and the building will collapse. That collapse will be in slow motion at first, then all at once, and is manifested by great social, cultural and economic disruptions. Until the final convulsion that settles the edifice to a pile of rubble. If the truth gets out, and the lies are exposed, then the people, repulsed by the lies, greed and corruption of the criminals, will rid themselves of the miscreants. Replacing them with a new elite who, for a time, follow the will of the people.

The snap back is inevitable. Whether due to a collapse or an awakening, the people will soon be forced to look at the ugly truth. Once they do, I believe that all the propaganda, censorship and usurpations in the world will not be enough to stop the righteous indignation of the people. Perhaps at that time the elite will get their well deserved comeuppance, or perhaps the elite will rid themselves of us somehow, nevertheless, there will be a snap back. Because lies will only hold up an elite for a limited time. Like Lincoln said, “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time.” The more lies the elite rely on to prop up their illegitimate rule… the more their rule relies on fooling all the people all the time.

We have yet to see how it happens but what lengths will the elite go to stop a snap back? Warfare, chemical, biological and mind control have all been used against us in the last few years. Chemical, in the fentanyl attacks that kill one hundred thousand Americans a year, equaling WWII in the same time frame. Biological, in that the Wuhan flu was created by the CCP, with the help of Fauci and the NIH transferring the technology, so the CCP could concoct it and set it free. We send our kids to indoctrination centers instead of schools. How do we know this? They emerge unable to count, read or write, let alone think for themselves, but every one ideologically captured. The snap back is as inevitable as it will be a terrible comeuppance for the elite. I’m rooting for it.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Anti Humans

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the progressive oligarchy is anti human, in all ways. They universally support death in every manifestation, endorse human slavery, eugenics, and manipulate children into self sterilization. All very progressive… and anti human as well. It is hard to rectify the fact someone openly wants to depopulate the planet with their not being anti human. Progressives are elitists, and elitism by its nature despises the masses, humans, making it an anti human philosophy. Humans are individuals first, groups second, for without the individual to make up the group, there can be no group. So when progressives categorize us as groups, not people, they are dehumanizing us, which is obviously… anti human. What we have then, is an anti human faction in the midst of seizing world wide despotic power.

Abortion, trans movement and abetting human trafficking are clearly anti human. In the 1970s they used to make TV shows where criminals who trafficked people were the villains. Villains who got their comeuppance by the end of the show. The reason these crimes were usually picked is because they are so heinous. Making the villain ever more deserving of Barnaby Jones, Frank Cannon or James Rockford’s attention. Manipulating children into self harm was too heinous for television back then. Of course, abortion was only allowed in the first trimester, imposed by the usurpation of the Supreme Court, ala Buck, Korematsu and Wickard. No one thought babies would be born alive, left to die, then their body parts harvested for diabolical experiments that would make Dr. Mengele blush.

Depopulation of the planet is as anti human as it gets. I have always said, those like Bill Gates, who avow there are too many people on the planet… should lead by example, not from behind. Instead, apparently, they see their role as the facilitators of depopulation, not trail blazers. Which makes me wonder if their ideas are really to help the planet or to help themselves. We know Gates is a hog. So the conclusion cannot be that difficult to discern. Anyone who values the life of others, as unworthy to live, is someone who’s personal value is zero. Because of reciprocal attribution. Another way to put it is, when you point a finger at someone else, three point back at you. So, people who espouse depopulation devalue themselves by their own philosophy, far more than us.

Dehumanizing people is the definition of anti human. Dehumanization is the first step to mass slaughter. It is a tried and true means of generating genocide. For months and years before, the Hutu radio stations called the Tutsi’s cockroaches… leading to the mass slaughter of Tutsi’s by machete. Women, children and men cut up alive… because they were not seen as human beings, but something else, something less. Most people, Thrasymachus’ little men, balk at chopping a child up alive, but not a tree, stick… or cockroach. The Nazis told the Germans they were protecting them from the diseases rampant in the ghettos. To that end Zyclon B was originally made to kill rats. Our elite today have learned this lesson well, and so they are applying it to us today, with the Wuhan flu… very progressive.

Why are we allowing such a malevolent, diabolical and manipulative faction to usurp absolute power? Partly because we were denied a legitimate voice by the 2020 election fraud. Then there is the propaganda ministry, big tech, that controls the flow of information. The monopoly on education the progressive faction enjoys, has served to create a supplicant population, stupefied by the system to be sheep. Then there is the Interagency, the real government, our Constitution’s mortal enemy. The constitutional government only camouflage for it. The anti humans who run the world today have amassed nearly absolute power to implement their anti human agenda. We have lost our voices, the vote and our power, to become the victims… only if we accept that fate. I don’t… nor should you.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Casual Oppression

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, we have become so accustomed to oppression, that we don’t even notice when it spits in our face. Take for example, the trope that it is the job of the elite to incentivize us, to do the “right” things. They openly say it all the time. Using the tax code, regulations and enforcing law depending on political favor, the elite first nudge us, then push us and finally shove us, into doing what they want us to do. Our own wants, humanity and self interest is irrelevant to the identified societal need the elite seek to address. How utterly arrogant of the elite to think they know what is best for us. Does anyone honestly think some arrogant, pathological power monger is going to make better decisions for you and your family, than you? If you do… how many timeshares do you own?

Think about it honestly, last time you heard on the radio, TV or Facebook, that the government is passing a regulation, tax change or executive order, to “encourage” us to do this or that… did you think, “this is open tyranny?” I bet, for most, never. Which means that most of us accept oppression without a thought. Requiring us to ask, “Is it oppression if we don’t know we are being oppressed?” Is the slave oppressed if he knows nothing but slavery then? Is the person harvested for organs oppressed, since they are dead, and therefore cannot know they are oppressed? Are those who are under the spell of a cult… oppressed? Moreover, is someone fine, who has undiagnosed Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever? It depends on what your definition of human being is.

The philosophy that the human animal has no free will, soul or agency, and thus should rightfully be subjected to the personal will of a tyrant or oligarchy, rationalizes oppression, and is the acme of hypocrisy. It is attributing to others a quality that one withholds from oneself. In other words, it is a violation of the Golden Rule. Moreover, attributing others as less than human, releases them to attribute that same quality to the originator… due to reciprocal attribution. Therefore, to believe we have no free will, soul or agency, as a way to rationalize taking free will and agency from us, lowers everyone, especially the presumer. If we accept this argument, then it follows that logically, no self attributed subhuman can have the authority to oppress a human being with a soul, free will and agency.

It can be said that oppression of a human being is an objective as well as subjective evil. To put it another way, if someone is being oppressed (by some objective measure) and they subjectively don’t know it, if you attribute to them free will, a soul and agency, then they are objectively being oppressed. Then we can answer the question, “Should we intervene?” Which I would answer is yes and no. Because if we consider the oppressed to be human beings, it is not up to us to decide, for them, what is a good life… but it is moral to show them. Explain to the swindled, how they were swindled, so it won’t happen again. Doling out punishment is for those who have the legitimate authority however. If those who claim that authority are the oppressors, in calling it out, we regain our agency and freedom.

When the elite use the tax code, not to generate revenue but to change behavior, that is oppression and needs to be recognized as such. It is the epitome of an arrogant elite dehydrating themselves by spitting in our faces. When, more often than not, that tax, regulation or political favor leads to a pernicious incentive. Proving the elite are not adept, but inept. Assuming they know best, and so exploit the levers of power to play mad scientist, making us lab rats. Since we are accustomed to the role, we don’t complain, paying the toll, and they continue their malevolent game. I have to wonder, are we subhumans, the therefore subhuman elite think we are, to be oppressed at their whim… or are we human beings, men and women, with inalienable free wills, souls and agency? Then act accordingly.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Thunderdome Model

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, many of us would like nothing better than to see a zombie apocalypse, just to live in interesting times. Perhaps that is why so many are willing to embrace what we know in our hearts to be a lie… to get that exciting adventure. Hollywood has glamorized dystopia for generations. From Soylent Green to Walking Dead, Hollywood, or more precisely, the cultural elite, have predicted a coming American dystopia since the 1970s. Almost like the elite want a dystopia? But of course… they do. People cannot have it too good else we will destroy something just to see what will happen. Soon, we discover we don’t like chaos, and hopefully we can put it back. In the case of an societal collapse, it is unlikely we can close that Pandora’s Box, let alone put the demons back in.

People disconnected from reality can romanticize all they want because they are ignorant of what it takes to keep a human being alive. Meat comes from a deli, power from a switch and heat through a duct, they have never sustained themselves outside for more then a day, camping… whining the whole while. A grumbling belly doesn’t feel so bad… when it is someone else belly. If Sly Stallone can climb a sheer rock face in the blistering cold, with a wet tee shirt on, then the cold can’t be that bad. Many have grown a lovely garden consisting of a dozen onions, a squash vine and a flower arrangement. Which they are certain could feed them for the year. This is a real societal problem, that the people who want to make all the decisions for everyone, are idiots.

Even as many romanticize dystopia their innate normalcy bias gives them the comfort to believe nothing can go wrong. They think that a few peasants will fight to the death for their entertainment, but their lives can only get better. How could anything go bad for them? It hasn’t in the past. So, no matter what they do to make the world worse, their lot cannot go down, or so their ids tell them. One thing that most people don’t realize is that things go badly, slowly at first, then all at once. The thrill of a coming dystopia that is not tempered with a knowledge of what it really means for everyone, is the thrill of someone about to be thrown into a wood chipper feet first, alive… who is blindfolded and doesn’t even know what a wood chipper is. That deep hum of something running is elating though.

The romanticizing and normalcy bias allow those captured by absurd ideas to implement them with the gusto of a zealot. Since the universe would never harm them, suffering is for the little people, they can be secure in doing what it takes to bring on the reset that will empower them forever, to make every decision for everyone. A dynasty of the oligarchs where the elite are locked in, no one, regardless of merit, will ever be allowed in again. All they need do is eliminate freedom of speech, the Right of the People to assemble to have grievances heard, castrate the Right of self defense, create chaos and crime while using law as a political weapon. No way these things could negatively effect the lives of the elite, just the lives of the people they want to oppress… right?

I think we can all agree, that there are policies the elite could implement that would protect our society, culture and nations from a dystopia… and the elite are not doing them. Instead, the elite are implementing everything possible to bring it on, almost like the elite today are intentionally creating a Beast system, just to see it in action. I think they are captured with the romance of creating dystopia, while at the same time thinking everything will remain the same, for them, but what excitement at seeing us suffer. What they fail to realize, is that the person running the Thunderdome never wears a pin stripe suit or power dress, they reek, wear ear necklaces and pelt shawls. The people who used to wear pin stripes and power dresses, fight to the death in them, for the entertainment of the hopeless.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Cycle of Rise and Fall

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, every civilizational collapse that has ever happened, was the result of the elite destroying the very edifice they ruled. This is due to several factors. Our propensity to take for granted that which is given to us, the arrogance that comes of power and our innate yet false belief, that things will always go on as they are today. The way the elite corrode the edifice they set atop, is by turning away from the societal myth, using law as a political weapon, and excreting on it. Not once in human history has the fall come from the people, always from the elite, and those times that might be argued the people were so corrupt the fall became inevitable, when plumbed of truth, show the people were just following their leaders. Because every collapse is the result of bad leadership.

Saint Aquinas said that Routine is a gift from God, in that it allows us to do mechanistically, that which would take a great deal of thought otherwise. Routine and the expectation of routine leads to normalcy bias. On 911, people stayed at their desks and continued working until the towers fell, because of their normalcy bias. The elite are as susceptible to this as any of us. Which allows the elite to believe, no matter how they pervert the system to their own corrupt ends, it will always work fine, they are biased to thinking everything will always be “normal.” People in the West take for granted the extraordinary times we live in as ordinary. For tens of thousands of years, until the industrial revolution, humanity lived in perpetual want. That is normal, not our opulence, and normal is where we could end up.

Power grants those who have it with many benefits, the virtue of modesty is not one of them. People long accustomed to power become arrogant thinking they can do no wrong. Evidence of their ineptitude only reinforces their absolute confidence in themselves. Once there is a nexus of the arrogance of long held power, normalcy bias and presumption… the elite will destroy the very edifice that gives them authority. Unless limited somehow and enforced with draconian punishments the elite cannot help themselves. It is human nature. You and I are no different. Given long held power, our tendency to normalcy bias and the presumption, or taking for granted that which is given not worked for, we would be no different. It is how the elite always destroy a culture that is interesting though.

All cultures are created along side a cultural myth. That myth is the foundational ethos that gives a culture its resilience. The people adhere to that myth until they are divested of it by the elite. Since it is always the elite who abandon it first, thinking themselves too smart, cosmopolitan and sly, to fall for that old myth. That scorn flows downhill. Eventually even the lowliest street beggar has nothing but contempt for the ethos that sustains his culture. What do you suppose happens then? Once the elite realize they can use law as a weapon of political power, with impunity, why wouldn’t they? Only a fool would refuse to, allowing such a weapon to fall into the hands of an enemy. Then there is the open defecating on the system they stand atop. Smearing it with contempt, bile and excrement.

No culture, system or nation can withstand such a sustained attack from within for long. History shows they fail, slowly at first, then all at once. They are rarely, or maybe never saved, once the slow failure starts. Because the elite by that time are intractable. Filled with the arrogance of long held power, firm in their confidence in themselves and knowing in their hearts that everything will always be normal, such an elite cannot help but undermine the societal myth, smearing their system with scorn, while using law as a political weapon of mass destruction. It might be possible for the people to suddenly embrace virtue and put the elite in their place. More likely, any that try will end up in a gulag, like the Jan 6 protesters. Then from the rubble, the elite will whine, “How could this have happened?”

Sincerely,

John Pepin
