Psychopaths Ply Glittering Lies

Sunday, March 19th, 2017

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, most people would rather believe a glittering lie than an ugly truth, even when they know it is a lie! That is why tyranny will never go away. Those who seek tyranny, Thrasymachus’ “Great Men,” intelligent psychopaths, know that a glittering lie will gather the majority of people, even after it is proven a lie, so their mouths are full of glittering lies, lying to whomever they need to manipulate at the moment. When I was young I often fell for glittering lies. The less life a person has under their belt, the easier it is to convince them a glittering lie is truth, so much so that they will gladly lay down their life for it. There is noting a psychopath likes any better than manipulating someone into doing themselves and their interests great harm. Combine the two, people so deluded they willingly lay down their lives for some glittering lie, with people who get off on manipulating people into harming themselves, and you have the State.

It is just human nature to prefer a glittering lie. How many untold number of people have been caught by a glittering lie? Just those who bought into the glittering lie that you can run up your credit card account an live like a king number in the millions. We are awash with glittering lies, con men use them all the time. Whenever we are told something we want to believe, that a house’s roof can hold it’s foundation off the ground for instance, our minds say no, but we may so fervently want it to be true we will believe it with all out heart, as if by some magic that will make it so. Every snake oil salesman plied that trade.

It is undeniable that the men throughout history that are remembered as “Great Men” were universally psychopaths. From Alexander the great and Tamerlane to Hitler and Stalin, great men have been only too happy to slaughter countless human beings to get what they want. Cyrus the great was discovered to be the grandson of the king, rather than a sheep herder’s son, by the fact he was a psychopath. Coriolanus leading a Volscian army stopped to slaughter every man woman a child in a Latin town, while on his way to attack Rome, for no other reason than they were long time friends of Rome. The quality of the people Thrasymachus describes as the Great Men, are just psychopaths… manipulative, murdering and heartless. These are the people who are con men, killers, thieves, bureaucrats, prime ministers and Presidents.

History is replete with stories of people killing not only themselves, for a glittering lie, but even their own family as well! The killing fields of Cambodia is such an obvious example I have to mention it. Those children, and make no mistake that is what they were, children, fell for the glittering lie of a socialist utopia, all they had to do was eliminate the bad genes and human nature would transform into the Marxist ideal of one for all. Of course the grand experiment killed so many people the Marxists had to stop shooting people, reserving their bullets for escapees, and instead use clubs and bread bags to kill those with bad genes and ideas. Thirteen year old boys would go down a line of bound men in their forties and fifties, clubbing each in the back of the head, while thirteen year old girls would go down a different row of tied and helpless people, putting bread bags over their heads, one at a time until they stopped flinching, then move to the next.

The dross rises to the top. Since it is in the nature of psychopaths to love manipulating others, feeling themselves utterly superior to the lot of Mankind they naturally gravitate to government, either the hidden cave of bureaucracy where they can ply their machinations under the anonymity of the bureaucracy, or to pull the levers of power themselves. The most dangerous are the ones who will become the “Great Men.” They are the ones who seek to be the tyrant, to that end they will use any power at hand to achieve that goal. Morality has no meaning to a psychopath and so they will manipulate everyone around them until they have that power, then they will use it, visiting death, famine and suffering on humanity, in measure to their, “Greatness.”

Without changing human nature itself or coming up with a way to control that quality of humanity, tyranny will never go away. Psychopaths will always exist and the qualities of being a psychopath will not change, people will rather follow a glittering lie than an ugly truth, so unless our education system teaches our kids to recognize a glittering lie and ugly truth, and act accordingly, else change the role of government itself. Both are daunting because psychopaths are already well entrenched in government and have been since the first king. The only thing that has changed the nature of humanity, to follow an ugly truth and turn away from a glittering lie, is the capitalist mindset, which is why the elite so despise capitalism. It is not in their interests to change the way children are taught, unless it is to dumb them down further, nor is it in their interests to change the role of government, it is in their interests to keep us believing in glittering lies and turning away from ugly truths… and so, tyranny will always be with us.

On the Death Of Fidel

Monday, November 28th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, it is informative to see which politician laments the death of Fidel Castro, and who doesn’t. You can tell how someone will turn out by the friends they keep. Those who praise Fidel clearly are sympathetic to his cause while those who denigrate him are not. Obviously, if one is saddened by the death of Fidel, they must have common cause in their struggle with Fidel’s. So we have to ask ourselves, what were the policies and goals of Fidel Castro? Moreover, those who express their love of Fidel must either condone or at least not condemn Castro’s actions. Once we have answered that question, we can understand the policies and goals of those politicians who praise him and lament Castro’s passing. From this we can decide if we want the same things for humanity or something different.

Fidel Castro was the atheist Marxist dictator of Cuba. He came to power by bloodshed and held power by terror, abuse and force. His policies were to enslave all humanity to the state. Castro instituted a policy of atheism in the schools supplanting God with Fidel, where school children would be asked if they believed in God, when they said yes, they were told to bow their heads and pray for candy. After a suitable period of time they were told to open their eyes to see there was no candy on their desks. Then they were told to pray to Fidel for Candy. When they opened their eyes there was a piece of candy on every desk. Likening back to Caligula, Fidel demanded not only fealty but adoration. There is no telling how many people Fidel turned away from God, sealing their fates, to burn in Hell for eternity.

Fidel Castro was instrumental in turning generations of Cuban people away from God. There is an old joke… a priest and a Jewish taxi driver stand at the gates of Heaven. Gabriel asks the taxi driver’s name to find his place in Heaven. The Taxi driver tells Gabriel, “My name is Saul Goldman.” Gabriel says, “Well then, we have a palatial mansion with a golf course, many swimming pools and game rooms for you!” Gabriel motions and Angels carry Saul to his reward. The priest is next and says, “My name is Father O’Brien.” Gabriel smiles and says, “We have a lovely condo for you father O’Brien.” The priest gets a bewildered look on his face and asks, “Why did that taxi driver get a mansion and I only get a condo, when I devoted my life to God?” Gabriel answers, “Because when you preached, people slept, but when Saul drove, people prayed…” besides the obvious, this joke tells a deep truth, those who turn people to God are rewarded heavily while those who turn people away from God are punished. Fidel devoted his entire life to turning people away from God.

Castro favored arbitrary rule as do all Marxists. Arbitrary rule as defined by the ancient Greeks is about the absolute power to the ruler over everyone else. Many in the past favored arbitrary rule their tales are told in the pages of Plutarch. Under arbitrary rule, the dictator can order anyone to do anything and that person must, else be executed. So under arbitrary rule a king can order a mother to kill her only son and she must else be executed, the autocrat can seize money or land from anyone, the tyrant can order anyone to work at whatever, for however long he or she decides without regard to the subject’s physical abilities. There is a name for people who live under arbitrary rule, slaves. A slave is subject to the whims of his or her master no different than a subject who lives under arbitrary rule. Basically, Fidel Castro believed everyone else should be his personal slave.

As do all dictators, Fidel lived the life of a king while his subjects live as paupers. Forbes magazine named Fidel Castro as one of the richest men on the planet since Fidel basically owned everything and everyone in Cuba as his personal chattel. Every house, street, store and farm was Fidel’s personal property, every citizen was subject to every whim of Castro and the Cuban children were his personal property. Fidel was very angry since dictators loathe their fancy lifestyles to be made public. Castro was the epitome of selfishness, envy, egoism and hate. Not only his policies prove this beyond a doubt, but the results of his policies are the polish to his life’s work, enslaving the people of the world to arbitrary rule, denying mankind the benefit of Heaven and fighting God’s plan that people have free will. In short, Fidel Castro, by his actions, was a very evil man.

Who is it then who is praising Fidel’s life’s work, who is it that supports subjecting humanity to arbitrary rule, atheism, elimination of free will and free enterprise? Trudeau the Prime Minister of Canada, the entire media that calls itself unbiased, Obama, elites the world over and most notably Pope Francis. Clearly, to praise a man’s life’s work is to agree with that life’s work. To argue otherwise is to argue water is no longer wet. Since these people and organizations support arbitrary rule, atheism and the slavery of mankind, any thinking person who wants liberty, prosperity, free enterprise as well as a possible eternity in Heaven, must not only ignore the words of these evil people, but actively fight against them in every way. Those who praise evil are themselves evil and should be hampered, reviled and spat upon at every opportunity. All it takes for evil to gain the upper hand is for good men to allow it to happen. This is your chance to not allow it to happen by recognizing who is evil.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Post Election Riots

Monday, November 14th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the violence we are seeing by progressives in our major cities is a result of fear, fear that Trump will abuse his political power as their man Obama did. Obama used every aspect of government to promote his ideology and destroy anyone who disagreed with him. Even Obama’s rhetoric foretold who he is, instead of calling conservatives the opposition, Obama called people enemies, rather than dialogue Obama vilified the loyal opposition, when Tea Party groups sought tax free status the Obama IRS denied them, Obama used taxpayer money to campaign for Clinton and himself in 2012, conservatives regularly get audited and some vocal conservatives get audited every year, Obama went around congress over and over, even signing a treaty with Iran, giving them a path to nuclear weapons without going to the Senate as the Constitution requires, in short Obama used every dirty trick in Alinsky’s book to grab and hold political power, and the progressives are worried Trump will do the same to them.

Fear is a powerful motivator. A person who is afraid will walk through fire and to a progressive loss of political power is terrifying. To a progressive, government is everything, mother, father, sister and brother, government is the means to all ends and is the best bludgeon there is. Progressives see government as the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong, and those who wield that political power as having the ability to decide, what is right and what is wrong. Since progressives are atheists at heart they have no concept of a greater moral code, the code the US was founded on, instead they see only a political code. Rights are, to a progressive, only those things the government allows the people to do, and if government changes it’s mind, the rights change as well. As a result, progressives feel real terror when they are not in charge, the terror that someone will use their own tactics against them.

I predicted progressives would become violent if Trump won and my prediction has been validated by progressives themselves. Daily riots are the norm in almost every major city in the US today because of progressive fear. To predict a cat will chase a mouse is no great feat and to predict progressives will become violent isn’t either. Since progressive ideology is based on hate, anger, and envy, and is implemented by government violence, it only follows progressives will become violent anytime they believe they can get away with it. Hate is their core emotion, envy is their primary motivator and anger is the horse they ride in on, making Violence the essence of progressivism.

Funded by billionaires like George Soros, these progressive organizations have the deep pockets to hire rioters, bus drivers and lawyers to foment violence and frustrate the legal establishment’s attempts to quell it. Instead of winding down, as anger usually does in time, these mobs are getting more violent and destructive. Until the racketeers have been arrested shutting off the flow of funds to the rioters, plan on seeing them get further out of hand until marshal law is imposed. Which is of course the plan, impose martial law and negate the election results. I guess if someone has enough money they are above the law, as Soros has proven over and over again, like when he beat his 19 year old girlfriend up badly, and she went to the NYC police, who turned her away! Progressives don’t believe in the rule of law because to them, it is merely the will of those in charge, and never part of a greater moral code.

The fear that progressive feel is in some ways justified. Trump has shown himself to be a man who holds grudges. Look how Trump went continued to go after Cruz after Cruz ceded victory to Trump in the primaries. This should be a warning to all progressives that Trump is a man who will exact revenge. Since Obama has created so many precedents to abuse Presidential power, for a political end, to harm enemies and help friends, all Trump need do is follow in Obama’s footsteps. There were no consequences for Obama and there probably will not be for Trump who is only doing what his predecessor did. Progressive organizations may have a much harder time getting tax free status, progressive news outlets may find themselves being audited, they might find their FBI files have been used to get a lever on them, they might find a government purge sweeps them from their beloved bureaucracy and they might discover their reliable allies in the media turning on them in fear of Trump. Indeed progressives have no one to blame but themselves.

Progressives created the environment where political power is the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong, they have devolved our system of government so that rights come from government, they used mean spirited rhetoric to slander their opponents and rather then debate a point resorted to personal attacks. They used the tactics of Saul Alinsky, who dedicated his book ‘Rules for Radicals’ to Satan. Progressives gleefully tried to destroy anyone who disagreed with their plans, personally and vindictively, in fact progressives created the very system and atmosphere they now fear, which explains the old saying, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

Meritocracy and Corruptocracy

Monday, October 31st, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, once government corruption has reached such levels the corpus political bursts open revealing all the corruption inside, and the people are not revolted, that is when we have become a “Corruptocracy.” The utterly and openly corrupt in power, ruling by corruption to satisfy their own corrupt wants and pay their corrupt cronies, to keep them in power. A Corruptocracy can exist under any system of government, it’s primary attribute is the widespread acceptance of corruption, and so it is not a system of government but a environmental factor. The environment in which government exists could be meritocracy, (the rule by those who merit it), but those occasions are rare, because there is no incentive for meritocracy to start and meritocracy corrodes itself. When you look at our government, the vote rigging, the double standard, arbitrary application of law, open antipathy for our Constitution and outright corruption, would you characterize our government as a Meritocracy or Corruptocracy?

There is a story about an African king who was under Roman rule. His people hated him, he so abused his people he brought them near to riot, until the Roman governor had to step in and arrest the African king, sending him to Rome for trial. Upon reaching Rome the African king started paying bribes to all the people in power. When his trial came he was immediately acquitted. When he returned to rule his home country he abused his people all the more and was arrested again. The cycle happened several times until the African king, shaking off the dust of Rome from his sandals for the fifth time said, If only one were rich enough the Romans would sell their very city… Rome had become a Corruptocracy. So you see, there have been Corruptocracies throughout human history and under many systems of government.

Think about various ecologic systems for a moment. Some are rife with vegetation, a plethora of plants and an abundance of animals. The well being of which depends on the environmental factors. As a desert gets less rain than a rain forest, an arctic tundra is colder than a jungle and so produce different types of flora and fauna, and verdancy (environmental prosperity), economic environments are different producing different type of enterprises as well as different levels of prosperity. Economies have different levels of taxation, regulation, culture, infrastructure, population, demographics, work ethic, rate of natural disasters, access to sea ports… and corruption. Corruption, especially when it has reached the point where the economic and political systems have become corruptocracies, stifles new growth in favor of old rotten existing growth. It is like sacrificing babies so old people can live longer. Forfeiting vitality for infirmity.

Meritocracy is an economic and political environment where people get what they merit. To put it another way, people get what they deserve, those who are smart, hard working and creative get ahead, generating incentives for everyone to be smart, creative and hard working because that will get them ahead. Unfortunately, the congenital nature of man is evil, the good in us a learned trait, which is why, to put it as Schumpeter did… once someone get to the top the first thing they try to do is close the door behind them. If there is no penalty for it, as in government, the door will be closed creating conditions for corruption to grow and stratifying society into haves and have nots, but if there is a penalty, as in the business world absent of cronyism, or in some military services, excellence becomes the norm. So Meritocracy, while a means for rapid rise in the standard of living, has within it the means and incentive for it’s own destruction.

Corruptocracy is the result of Aristotle’s wrong forms of government, tyranny, oligarchy and democracy, gone too far, and has been with us since time immemorial. Since it is in our nature to become corrupt in the absence of penalty for bad behavior, and the greater the stakes the more the incentive to push the boundaries, there is always a tug towards corruption. Meritocracy, while an excellent environment for economies and government to flourish, has within it the seeds of it’s own destruction. So the question remains, looking at the political and economical landscape which we find ourselves today, our political candidates, the incentives around us, our culture, the media, crime rates, racial harmony, the whittling away of liberty, etc… would you say we live in a Corruptocracy?

Sincerely,

Secrets

Thursday, October 27th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, to argue national defense is sufficient cause for a secret, is to argue suicide is necessary for cancer prevention. After all, there is not one secret the US or any other government has, that is not known by other governments, so in reality, when government classifies something secret, they are merely keeping it from citizens, not foreign governments, so, to claim a thing needs to be secret for national security is absurd. The only people who are unable to know what our governments are doing are the people themselves. Look at the “secrets” wikileaks has released, none of them put a single American in jeopardy, the only things threatened are the elite’s machinations. Snowden’s release of information shows how our government violates our Constitution and that is why he is under indictment. In a limited republic that guarantees liberty for it’s citizens, everything government does would be available for any citizen to see. The only thing that grows in darkness is corruption and we have more than a sufficient supply of that.

If government only did what it is supposed to, protect people and property from those who would abuse or abscond, is the only legitimate role of government…. In other words, the police and army. Other things that can be argued are right roles of government are, printing money, building roads and infrastructure, settling disputes between citizens, setting standards and defining governmental boarders. These other roles however, have often been done by citizens themselves, usually better and cheaper. When government sticks to it’s legitimate role it need not maintain thousands of bureaucrats administering government. The more illegitimate roles government takes up… the more things it decides need to be secret. It is the pervasive and ever growing secret state that is a sign that government has breached it’s banks and is flooding the country with red tape and taxes.

When government takes on clearly illegitimate roles like “helping” American industry, the need for secrets grows. As our government gets in bed with tyrants the need for secrets grows, the more illegal activities our government engages in, the more they need to keep secrets, the more powerful government grows the more need for secrets, the more controlling it becomes the more it needs its secrets and the more government monitors the people the more it needs to hide what it is doing. All from the people, not other governments, who have spies to insure they know all there is to know about our government’s secrets, but the citizens whom the government is supposed to serve live in darkness. So the people government is keeping secrets from are the people themselves.

Why keep secrets from citizens? Because government knows what it is doing is wrong. Instead of protecting people’s Rights, lives and property, government has become the biggest threat to our lives, Rights and property. The modern government has as it’s core philosophy, everything within it’s boundaries are the government’s property, the land, houses, cars, factories, and even the people themselves. That which we are allowed to keep is out of government’s beneficence. This is made clear whenever taxes are brought up. The argument is based on the premise all income belongs to government. When that is your mindset, you have to keep it secret from the people you consider your slaves, else they might get uppity.

Of course there will always need to be spies. They are an arm of the army and as such help government meet it’s core role of protecting the people. The amount of secrets however exceeds mere spy craft by orders of magnitude. Plus, why keep the findings of spies on our enemies, secret? Shaming enemy nations should be a legitimate role of spies. Sadly, governments are far more concerned about spying on their own citizens than on potential invading armies. The need for secrets is a sure sign government is grown beyond it’s legitimate role. Everything government does should be freely available to any citizen that asks for it. The Freedom of Information act is a first step but falls short. Every legislators office should have a camera and microphone installed that stream to the internet, the President’s office should be monitored the same way, judges chambers should be recorded and the recording released to the public the day that judge casts his or her decision. Every trade deal should be open to anyone to see, every regulation should be read by the people, every document created by government using tax dollars should be available to the people who paid those taxes, not one aspect of government should be hidden from the people who government is supposed to serve. The more secrets a government has, the more it needs them, because that government is doing something it is not supposed to.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Voting Dead…

Thursday, September 29th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the one thing that gives any governmental unit true authority… is the consent of the people, absent that consent, government has no real authority and the power it wields is mere usurpation. The way government gets the consent of the people is by the electoral process. If that electoral process is undermined, whether the people know it or not, consent is not given. Therefore, any government, or faction that seeks to undermine the democratic process, is unjustly assuming power. Moreover, anyone who seeks to govern without the consent of the governed, especially where that consent is artificially created, is engaging in the most heinous kind of crime. Crime that is far worse than stealing, abuse and even murder, because the very lives, liberty and property of everyone is at risk. In other words… The single crime from which tyranny flows in the modern world, is vote fraud.

Vote fraud usually comes from hubris and presumption. Those who engage in vote fraud have the hubris to fool themselves into believing their cause is the most just and presumption in they presume to know what is best for everyone else. They see their own arguments close at hand while they see the arguments of others at a distance, crediting themselves, as we all do, with the most enlightened wisdom, they willingly pervert the electoral process to benefit their preferred faction… themselves. Hubris and presumption are the natural result of misplaced pride.

Some people believe themselves to be smarter, wiser and more caring than everyone else, this is especially true of people with college degrees. They consider themselves smarter than everyone else because they went to college. If they find they are incapable of holding a job, it cannot be because of any deficiency in themselves, the system must be wrong, after all, they are smarter than the rest of us who do have jobs. So they gravitate to socialism, with themselves as the rightful leaders, in this violence is acceptable but if that isn’t viable, vote fraud becomes thinkable. Since they see themselves as more deserving and caring than everyone else, they appoint themselves as the master who forces all those other uncaring louts to provide for the less fortunate. If they personally benefit, what is the harm, aren’t they the most deserving anyway?

People have an amazing ability to justify their actions in their own minds. Psychologists call this cognitive dissonance. If a person treats you badly, even if by accident, their opinion of you goes down… they like you less. That is because since they treated you badly, in their mind’s eye, either they are bad for treating a good person badly, else you are bad and deserve it. Since no one believes themselves bad the fall back is always that you are bad. This concept can be applied to vote fraud, in that someone who believes their cause just and themselves wise, engages in vote fraud, they must believe others who seek free and fair elections are bad people, otherwise the fraudster is bad, plus those others don’t see what they see or care like they care. Even the voters themselves are seen as less than human to people who manipulate the vote through fraud. Otherwise, those who pervert the electoral process would be bad, and cognitive dissonance forbids that.

This is why efforts to stem vote fraud are met with such vehemence, vitriol and violence. Anything that limits their ability to pervert democracy to their own ends cannot be allowed to stand. Anyone who wants free and fair elections must be personally destroyed else society might not go the way the self appointed masters think it should. Moreover, people who seek the honest consent of the governed must be ignorant, since fraudsters are so much smarter, wiser and more caring than the hoi polloi. You can reliably tell who is in favor of vote fraud by how they react to efforts to stem it. Their silence at obvious vote fraud screams they consider the people fools to be manipulated and trod underfoot. When a district votes 100% for one candidate, and turnout is 120% of the registered voters, or dead people have come back to life simply to cast a ballot, clearly either the laws of physics has been upended, or vote fraud on a large scale has taken place. Those who find identification to vote obnoxious are those who seek to pervert democracy to their own ends. Of all the crimes, vote fraud has the potential to result in human suffering far greater than even murder, and should be treated as such.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Evil is Evil, No Matter Who or How Many Do It…

Thursday, September 22nd, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, if an action is wrong for an individual, it is wrong for a group. Blame cannot be diluted, as salt is diluted in water, blame fits all equally. Evil is evil no matter who does it or how many are involved. A robbery is made no less of a sin, if ten people are involved than if a lone gunman in an alley robs you, it is still a sin and the blame is not diluted by there being ten involved, each is as to blame as a single thug. This is an important concept for people to understand since the dilution of blame is a paramount theory of government. Often this dilution of blame is such that it allows ever greater evils to be done in the name of goodness, which is of course absurdity.

If a person wants his neighbor’s land, so he storms that neighbors house killing the father and enslaving his family, obviously an evil has been done. What of a whole neighborhood lusts after the land of someone and they storm her house taking her land and killing her? Is it any less evil? What if a million people desire someone’s property, kill them and take it, is it any less evil, are the individuals any less culpable? No, they are all equally culpable and don’t share the blame, diluting it, they are all as culpable as if one person does it. No matter if the thing stolen is real property or chattel, an evil has been committed, and everyone involved shares in the blame equally, in the same measure as a lone wolf.

What if a person is detestable in his philosophy, espousing a point of view another cannot stand, so that other cuts out the first person’s tongue, has an evil been done? What if a hundred people don’t like what the first person says, would it be okay then to stop his speaking by force? What if a billion people call for it… is it any less evil? No matter the number of people involved the crime is the same, the blame is the same, and everyone involved has committed an evil. What about if someone is doing something detestable but is harming no one else? Can a lone woman take offense and lock that man in her basement for a few years? Would that be okay? What if a dozen people get together and in their indignation capture him and lock him in a dungeon for a decade, for his own good, would it be a good thing then? What if a million are offended?

A crime is a crime no matter who does it. What if a king decides he only likes women with blue eyes, would it be acceptable for him to order all women with brown or green eyes executed? Does the king’s pleasure overwhelm the right to life of those women? What about if he preferred brown eyes… would it be okay then? Would it be a good thing if a king ordered a squad of armed men to go door to door taking every carrot the people had grown? Perhaps our theoretical king could violate his own edicts, would it be acceptable for him, but not anyone else? What if that king were loved by the people, would that make it okay? No it wouldn’t. A person’s title, occupation or status does not give her the right to visit evil on another, no matter the difference in the adoration of the masses.

In the example of the king ordering a squad to visit evil on someone else, is the king less culpable because he didn’t actually commit the crime himself, what about the squad of men, are they less to blame for their actions because they were simply following orders? Do you think God will hold a death camp guard blameless because he was following orders? Will God hold the person ordering the sin blameless because she didn’t actually commit the sin herself? Maybe a king could change what is good and what is evil by edict? Could a king, beloved by the people, change morality, let’s say changing murder from a sin to a virtue? Is that in the power of any man, king or not?

That which is evil, is evil, no matter who does it, why it is done or how many people do it. Sadly this concept is lost on the lion’s share of humanity. People see a single evil and call it evil, but when they see a million evils, they call it a good. This doesn’t follow. The ancient Chinese utilitarian philosopher, Mo Ti said, “Take the case of a man who when shown a few black dots calls them black, but when shown a large number of black objects calls them white. He would have to admit his eyesight was in disorder and that he did not know the difference between black and white.” This sums up what I am saying, everyone knows a single evil like theft, is evil, but many see theft by the multitude as a good, especially if it benefit them. They would have to admit their moral compass is off by many degrees… Just because an evil is done by someone who claims to represent the many, doesn’t make it a good, it simply involves the many in the sin.

Sincerely,

John Pepin

The Obama Presidency

Monday, July 11th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the United States and indeed the entire world, is far worse off eight years after the election of Barak Obama, making his Presidency one of the worst, if not the worst President in US history. By every measure the US has slid backwards, race relations, disease, economically, socially, militarily and culturally. Obama’s outstandingly poor record of performance while in office is also marred by the most damaging scandals in US history, fast and furious, Benghazi, IRS as a political weapon, wiretapping reporters, the VA scandal, etc… all these scandals without a single special prosecutor. From the destruction of the US Constitution to the rise of radical Islam Obama has created one mess after another at home and abroad. When he was elected he ran on hope and change, today hope for the future is at an all time low, and our nation has been fundamentally changed for the worse.

When Obama was elected race relations were at an all time high. Obama had huge support of every race especially white voters. Since he was elected he has sown the seeds of division, hate and anger. Today there is violence in our streets, police are being murdered across our nation and our large cities are no longer safe places to raise children or even go to the store. Rather then unifying us Obama has made it his priority to divide us along racial lines. From jumping in to attack the Cambridge police before he had any information, then having to have a “beer summit” to save face, to his absurd stance that easy access to guns is causing the riots and police murders, Obama ‘ record on race relations is as bad if not worse than Woodrow Wilson’s.

Economically, Obama has been the only President in history to enjoy zero interest rate for the entirety of his term, yet economically the US has been in depression since the great recession. The staggering number of people not it the workforce shows an underlying weakness in the economy that is as pervasive as it is destructive of our standard of living. Meanwhile, that record low worker participation rate feeds the need for record welfare rolls, record food stamp participants and declining real wages. Despite the run up in stocks, largely fueled by the unheard of low interest rate allowing corporations to buy back their own stock thus keeping the market artificially high, enriching the corporate CEOs at cost to shareholders, customers and employees, the actual value of our investments has declined with a record high price to earnings ratio (P/E). Because of Obama care the incentives to hire full time employees is negative. That is why low paying temp jobs are rapidly becoming the norm and poverty is rising.

There has never been a President who had so many terrorist attacks on US soil during his Presidency. Once 911 happened, Bush took steps, and we didn’t see another successful attack on American soil under his Presidency, in stark contrast to Obama. Under Obama there has been an Islamic terror attack resulting in American deaths every year of his Presidency. Obama has done everything in his power to hinder law enforcement from addressing the root causes of Islamic terror even refusing to acknowledge Islamic terror! His willful blindness to Islamic theology, inciting it’s followers to attack infidels and instill terror in their hearts, as Islamic scripture induces it’s followers to do, has encouraged more attacks, not placated them as Obama said it would. Today the average American is more likely to die from an Islamic terrorist attack than at any other time in US history.

The US Constitution is under attack from every angle today. Every amendment has been eroded under Obama. From his perpetual hatred of the Second Amendment, to outright attacks on free speech and freedom of religion, Obama has shown himself to be an enemy of our basic fundamental rights as enumerated in our founding documents. Our society has moved so far away from limited government and liberty, that a politician who openly avows fealty to our Constitution and it’s principles, is called an extremist! The rule of law has become arbitrary rule under Obama with some above the law and others below it’s protections.

In Iraq, Obama snatched loss from the jaws of victory. Regardless whether we should have got in that war to begin with, Bush had essentially won the war, when Obama came into office he unilaterally withdrew US forces and ceded Iraq to radical Islamic fundamentalists, who have since wiped Christianity from that place where it has been for two thousand years, enslaved young women for sex, and is a safe haven for exporting Jihad to the rest of the world. When the people of Iran rose up to quit themselves of the chains of the Ayatollah, Obama sided with the Ayatollah, and against the freedom movement! Last year Obama gave Iran the green light to build a nuclear arsenal it can use against the US and Israel, with a memo recently intercepted from Iran, showing they plan to use an EMP weapon against the US power grid!

By every measure the Obama Presidency has been a disaster. Our economy is teetering on the edge of catastrophe, our streets run red with blood, our Constitutional Rights are under assault like never before, the world has devolved into turmoil and war, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction goes on unimpeded and hope for the future is at another all time low. The hacking of the Black Lives Matter movement, a home grown terrorist organization, leaked to the public shows they plan on a “Summer of Chaos,” that they hope will allow Obama to usher in marshal law. Now, that would be his crowning achievement, calling for marshal law in the US for the first time in our history. One has to wonder how anyone so inept could become a janitor, let alone President, unless he is not incompetent, but a villain. History will have to answer that question, what is unquestionable however, is that Obama has been one of if not the worst President in US history if not the worst… as measured by results.

Justice, Honor and Arbitrary Rule.

Thursday, July 7th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the mask has come off, we in the US now officially live under arbitrary rule and our leaders have no honor whatsoever. The fact Hillary Clinton has not, and will not be indicted for destroying evidence, keeping top secret information on an unsecured server, using a personal email for government business and/or lying under oath to congress, is proof positive we live under arbitrary rule. If anyone with less political power did one of those things they would be in jail and everyone knows it. That is an undeniable fact. The US has become, no longer a constitutional republic, but a banana republic. That a member of the elite can get away with multiple infringements of federal laws, without consequences, consequences that you or I would face, shows there is a double standard at work that is as pernicious as it is destructive. Moreover, recent news articles have shown that the rest of us no longer have the protections of law, or our Constitutional rights. Just as Rome was no longer a republic after Caesar crossed the Rubicon, the US is no longer a republic since the elite have the audacity to rub our noses in the fact they are above the law, and we are below it’s protections.

There is no true rule of law whatsoever the world over. This is not just happening in the US but is a world wide phenomenon. Human history is nothing but a story of the elite holding the people to laws they will not hold themselves to. The US was different, for a speck of time, because the US had the rule of law. True, the elite held themselves to it by their honor… but at least they did. Since FDR broke the unwritten rule that a President only run for two terms, our elite have increasingly lost all honor, and have disgraced themselves in every way possible. It is a quality of a civilized person to hold others to a lower standard then one does him or herself. To hold others to a higher standard then oneself, shows a lack of character, moral indifference and conniving which is on full display in the Hillary Clinton case.

Throughout history the wise have opined about the need for honor among the rulers of a society. When the rulers have no honor they will resort to every evil known to Man. History shows this to be true but goes further. In a society where the elite have no honor the people quickly loose their honor. Confucius said it first, (at least as far as I know), the people follow their leaders into corruption or virtue. In a nation where the leaders have no honor, the people will have no honor, where the people have no honor crime, chaos and beggary are rife. Economies grow in serenity and collapse in chaos, wealth flourishes in the absence of crime but erodes like sand when crime is rampant and where the economy is collapsing and wealth is being destroyed, poverty becomes the norm. All because the leaders have no honor.

The question of whether justice or arbitrary rule is best was considered in Plato’s book, The Republic. In it, Socrates argued for justice, while Thrasymachus the sophist argued for arbitrary rule. Thrasymachus claimed the great men, (those with political power, intelligence, wealth and ambition), should not follow the law, only appear to do so… law is only to make the hoi polloi believe there is justice to facilitate the control of the people and trick them into being obedient. Socrates made the argument justice in and of itself is a good. Justice is both a good that we do because it is good and a useful good as well. By allowing arbitrary rule to come back into fashion we become the dupes of the “great men.” Do you want the elite to exploit law to enrich themselves, amass political power over us and eventually tyrannize us? Or do you agree with Socrates that justice is a good in and of itself, one that is useful in creating a peaceful, wealthy and safe society?

Why would the people follow laws even those who write them don’t? Every one of us is a hypocrisy detector and hypocrisy is the surest way to make people despise the law. As a lack of honor flows from the top down a society will increasingly only follow laws by force and threat. Whenever they believe they can get away with breaking a law they will. Once dishonor reaches the lowest rung of a society no amount of punishment will suffice. People will not be not safe in their own homes, business cannot be conducted, children are at risk, people’s oaths are meaningless and every chance meeting becomes a danger. Clearly, to allow the leaders of a country to become utterly corrupt, dishonorable, conniving and lustful for power, can only lead to human suffering on a national scale.

One way to tell how dishonorable your leaders are is to look around with open eyes. Do people need bars on their windows, are all children safe on the streets, can you look at a passerby in the eye, is poverty rampant? Corrupt leaders will claim all this is due to worthless, lazy and ignorant people, but will never look in a mirror. The Duke of Lu asked Confucius one day, how he could get the people to stop lusting after other men’s wives, stealing and murder. Confucius said, the duke could lead by example and stop doing those things himself. Shortly after that Confucius and his disciples had to flee Lu state in fear of their lives. Let the scales drop from your eyes and really see.

So you see, this is not a matter of hate of an individual or gotcha politics, it is a matter of justice and human suffering. If we allow our noses to be rubbed in the elite’s corruption, we have given our consent to the elite to be even less honorable, in doing so we sentence our children and grand children to a life of poverty, fear and tyranny. Just because you like a politician, is no reason to allow them to get away with blatantly breaking laws, laws you or I would be severely punished for. Such actions are those of children, sycophants and imbeciles. Say nothing, do nothing, and the US will join the ranks of other failed experiments in human governance like Rome, Athens, Sparta, etc… with the same catastrophic results, human suffering on a grand scale. To do nothing is to abet a crime against humanity, to do something, even if it is small and of little consequence, is to make a stand against corruption. The choice is yours, lay down and let the elite walk over you… or stand and push back. It may be too late to have an effect, since we have allowed our leaders to be villains for so long, but maybe not. Regardless, do you want to be hated by your own grandchildren for your lack of back bone, or be a champion for liberty, prosperity and equality?

Sincerely,

John Pepin

Our Machiavellian Elite

Monday, June 20th, 2016

Dear Friends,

It seems to me… the elite today are more Machiavellian than in any time in the past. Machiavelli would have been proud of the elite, or put another way, the new class, to have taken Machiavellian principles to such an extreme in pursuit of their agenda. The reason Machiavelli’s works have stood the test of time is that they speak to our congenital human nature. His ideas span the gambit of human government and the amassing of power into the hands of those willing to use any means necessary to forward their agenda, which is always more power, money and prestige in the hands of the elite. The elite have always been sociopaths or psychopaths who are all too willing to lie, cheat, steal, murder and make war to get their way, indeed a lack of basic human compassion has been the hallmark of the aristocracy since time immortal. Since this is obviously the case as evidenced by all of human history, it is only rational to examine the actions of the elite in this light, furthermore is is Pollianish to believe the elite have our best interests at heart. It is and has always been the Pollianish, who are the useful idiots the elite exploit and manipulate by Machiavellian means, to create tyranny.

Machiavelli is most famous for his treatise The Prince. He wrote The Prince in an attempt to win favor from the new Medici prince who had recently overthrown Machiavelli’s sponsor the Borgia. In it, Machiavelli tried to prove that he could be useful to the Medici, by showing his political acumen. Unfortunately for Machiavelli the Medici didn’t look favorably toward those who has served the Borgias. That book, The Prince, however became a world wide sensation that has real points to teach us, even and especially today.

While Machiavelli sought favor from the Medici family his ultimate goal was to unite Italy and to that end he thought a strong man would be best suited for the task. At his core Machiavelli was a patriot. He believed that the Medici prince of Florence along with the Medici Pope could unite their forces and power bringing Italy under one prince. Machiavelli cared not if that prince were a Medici or a Borgia, because in time Italy could become a republic, Machiavelli’s favorite form of government has he espoused in his other famous book, Discourses on Livy. Today the global elite seek to unite the planet under one governemnt.

In The Prince, Machiavelli explains how a prince, (or politician) should be as untruthful as he or she needs while constantly claiming to be the most truthful person in the world. He used the example of a prince who lied constantly, even when the truth would serve him better but incessantly and vociferously claimed to be the most honest man on the planet. While everyone knew the prince was lying they still held him to be an honest man, believing his rhetoric rater than their own eyes and ears. Politicians today follow that rule religiously. We all know of politicians who have been caught lying over and over, but are still regarded by many as honest and trustworthy, and are even running for President.

Machiavelli’s term, “The end justifies the means,” has been taken to heart by the global elite today. The global elite believe in a one world government, they have been writing about it for decades. Ever since Marx wrote his manifesto the elite have been enthralled with the idea of a one world government, where everyone would be “equal,” except for the elite, who are always a little more equal than everyone else. To that end the elite lie, cheat, steal both our property and our elections, create fear and motivate us to act against our own interests with false flags, wage endless wars, destroy our money, intentionally overwhelm our economic system and create societal chaos, all as a means to the end they seek.

In The Prince Machiavelli espoused the virtues of arbitrary rule. Believing the ends justify the means as Machiavelli did, a temporary tyranny was a small price to pay to unite Italy, because afterward he believed Italy would come under a republican form of government. “A stable tyranny is better for the people than an unstable democracy,” was another phrase coined by Machiavelli. He said that under a stable tyranny, it is the elite who suffer being a threat to the tyrant, while the people have a stable society, albeit, a tyrannical one, in which to conduct business, however in an unstable democracy, business is near impossible, since your shop could be vandalized at any time by marauding hordes of angry plebeians. Today however that equation is flipped upside down. With the advent of modern surveillance, data storage and implantable rfid chips, the subjects of a tyrant are even the most lowly.

Anyone who denies the elite are Machiavellian is absurdly Pollianish. The elite have written extensively about their plans and the way they will bring them about. A rational person will look at the actions of the elite, as well as their writings, to decide the elite’s intentions. A fool will only listen to their words. The writers our leaders follow religiously today are Cloward and Piven, Saul Alinsky, Marx, Nietzsche, Herbert Marcuse and George Counts, along with many others, who are uniform in their Machiavellian conniving. Pointing this out gets the speaker branded a “conspiracy theorist,” which is another example of Machiavellian principles at work. To believe a lie in the face of someone’s actions shows a laziness of mind, lack of will and idiotic complacency, but so many do today we have all become lambs to the slaughter.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
