Limericks – Party Policies Effect Elections

Dear Friends,

A free trade zone is a great deal,
But elites wanted a power wheel,
So they huffed and puffed,
Put speech in a handcuff,
And now it’s sovereignty they steal.

Once a government couldn’t be trusted,
Time and time again they were busted,
But it had no shame,
With excuses lame,
So now its reputation has been rusted.

Progressives have finished a long march,
Now of ethics our institutions do parch,
Politics runs the show,
That we already know,
As they tyrannize us with collars of starch.

There once was a faction that turned on the nation,
Entitled to power they were shocked at stagflation,
Apparently voters remember,
Especially in November,
When they throw out the bad apples in frustration.

They shill a con by its connections,
Ruining reputations by ____________,
Arrogance to burn,
It’s time to ______,
That party policies effect _________.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
