Limericks – On A Cloud They Loll

Dear Friends,

There once was a state full of fraud,
Ruled by the proud with an iron rod,
They defended the grift,
Though pockets they sift,
By elites who thought they were god.

There once was a trust fund swanker,
For elite applause he/she did hanker,
But stupidity shows,
Now everyone knows,
That he/she is just a narcisistic wanker.

The elites smoke crystal meth,
Take a hit and hold their breath,
The price is tall,
So extract it all,
They’re riding this horse to death.

Many authorities demand our compliance,
Because reality to them is their reliance,
With great logical agility,
But without falsifiability,
Whole institutions are merely pseudoscience.

They say pride goes before a ____,
As arrogance casts an enduring ____,
A heady ____,
From a bug,
And upon a white cloud they loll.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
