Limericks

Dear Friends,

No one cares about the working slob,
In every way the elite take con and rob,
Climb a tree,
Get a degree,
And be in debt while an immigrant gets the job.

Corporations and government are in bed,
In a unified partnership they are now wed,
The little guy they extort,
Jobs they couldn’t export,
They imported workers to fill them instead.

Central planning is ever the solution,
It perpetually fails without absolution,
But have it we must,
Else turn to dust,
Despotism will protect us from pollution.

Notice the likes are from a faction,
People who’s belief cause a reaction,
It’s self interest,
Building unrest,
It’s called the logic of collective action.

A worker to the elite is a mere _______,
A ride to wealth and the race _________,
A centrally planned _______,
He’ll never get __________,
But drained by conniving and ________.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
