Limericks

Dear Friends,

The people in charge misdirect with a fiver,
Using all the cunning of a sly MacGyver,
It’s someone else fault,
If they’re worth their salt,
But if the cars in a ditch it was the driver.

One side wants freedom the other wants plunder,
The difference is so stark it makes me wonder,
Progressives demand their rights,
Denying them to foes in fights,
And once in charge they rip the nation asunder.

Stephen Harper made Canada great,
So Trudeau stepped up to the gate,
A despot liar,
A Carney crier,
Now Canada is about to meet its fate.

Corporate executives aren’t known for creativity,
Being better at charisma dominance and activity,
They can balance a book,
But struggle to cook,
So when tasked with rebranding they’re a liability.

It wasn’t the guy in _______,
He was busy with a barge,
Clutching and lifting,
Roundabout _________,
And using it to live _____.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
