Dear Friends,

Yellow journalism is all the rage,
Putting political truth in a cage,
The good to roast,
The Washington Post,
Protecting pedophiles is hard to gauge.

There once was a man in Plainfield,
He stole wood wheeled and dealed,
Never worked a day,
Frittered time away,
And is rich now because his whining did yield.

Look very closely and you will see,
If others choose its not democracy,
Euphemism grand,
It’s got outta hand,
But once it breaks the elite will have to flee.

Time comes and duty will call,
When a nation is about to fall,
The dumb are silent,
The stupid are violent,
But the ones who help will have a ball.

There once was a payola press ______,
Screaming propaganda like a good _____,
Protecting a faction,
A voter’s ________,
As the nation falls those responsible do bellow.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
