Double Standards Destabilize

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the extraordinary double standard we accept without a thought is destabilizing our society. Apparently, members of Trump’s cabinet have to live on military bases because of the overt threats and attempts on their lives. If Obama’s cabinet were in such danger, the media would have labeled it the crime of the century, proving how racist, violent, and intolerant their foes are. It would still be mentioned in the news, as an example, how evil anyone who disagrees with the elitists. Yet the assassination of Charlie Kirk went by with barely a whisper in the legacy media. Just as this latest crime against civil norms has gone unnoticed in the main stream press. This shows that the leftists visiting violence on us, wouldn’t allow us the civil rights they demand… because they aren’t civil.

The media and leftists when caught or backed into a corner say, “Yeah, but both sides do it…” This tars their foes with democrat crimes and allows them to escape consequences. But it’s not true… ever. If it was, the people responsible would go to prison, probably without bail or trial, like the Jan 6th trespassers. Even as the pipe bomber walks free to this day. Just a few months earlier, BLM had engaged in “fiery but mostly peaceful” riots across the nation. They had burned buildings, police cars, and beat people. Cities to this day have yet to recover from the violence. Mayors of some of those cities openly gave the rioters “room to vent.” Then there were zero consequences. Bail was given and juries nullified the laws. Then the rioters sued for millions in damages. What an obvious double standard.

The media, bureaucracy, and courts searched Trump and his past for any crime they could come up with… and found nothing. So they fabricated some… that they themselves were committing. Since they were intimately familiar with mortgage fraud that’s what they used. The Russian collusion hoax had collapsed, leaving a legal void in the attacks on Trump. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton was caught selling US uranium stockpiles to Russia, had an illegal server forwarding top secret emails to others, and then destroyed evidence with a hammer. Brenen, Clapper, Comey, Fauci, and dozens of others lied under oath with no accountability at all. Just as General Flynn, who hadn’t lied but was charged with perjury and his family was threatened. This is a clear double standard if there ever was one.

Had Charlie Kirk been a leftist, his murder would have been the biggest new story to rock the world in decades. Since he was a conservative, a foe, his murder was cheered by the left. Even as the media hides the openly violent nature of progressives. They promote a mental illness and idea that captured the man charged with Kirk’s murder. Anger and the left go together. That’s why the angry leftist has become a trope. From Marx himself, whose anger radiates from his writing like heat from a fire, to the fury of the entitled upper middle class youth, who thinks herself a victim… madness is the thread that sews them together. Yet when they are caught beating Andy Ngo, they claim both sides do it… but both sides don’t. Let a conservative like Santos claim both sides do it… this is another double standard.

How do I know conservatives aren’t violent, yet much violence is attributed to them? Because the left has to stage false flag attacks on themselves, attacks on conservatives are misattributed as violence coming from the right, and conservatives who commit crimes are below our Constitution’s protections, as much as the left is above the law. Jesse Smollett’s false flag was the most notorious but there are many others. Meanwhile, Islamist violence, like when an Islamist cuts the head off a minister giving a sermon… is called right wing violence. Then there are the BLM thugs who are rewarded for rioting and conservatives who are punished for protesting a stolen election. The open and notorious double standard normalizing violence must end, or else violence will become the norm.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
