Limericks – Their Sins Are Mere Compassions

Dear Friends,

Entitlement is like a flame to a moth,
Beguiling like the prophecy of Thoth,
A feeling for the age,
It’s now all the rage,
Fueled by pride envy greed and sloth.

There once was a stupid elite,
Their politics gave us a beat,
A violent mob,
Lying’s their job,
And targeted their own seat.

The plandemic was an evil curse,
Every measure just made it worse,
Propaganda is hot,
Take the clot shot,
Never mind that man who’s aorta burst.

It’s called a straw man to us peasants,
Defending one’s allies is the essence,
But defending the gutter,
With a fork and butter,
Is protection from cognitive dissonance.

The Entitlement mindset is just ________,
Leading to a life of hedonistic ________,
But to ignore ________,
Is perilous you’ll see,
Claiming their sins are mere compassions.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
