The Logical Inconsistencies of Socialism.

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, progressives, socialists, Marxists and charlatans, but I repeat myself… epitomize a total lack of consistency. They must because they are selling something they themselves would not want. Snake oil is not something the seller will use, nor sell someone he or she loves, it is for marks. To be consistent, for someone to believe in the institution of slavery, one must also be willing to be a slave. To say that one is above being a slave but others are not is a failure in their logic. Admittedly, a self serving, logical failure. The rank and file socialist might actually believe in what he or she is buying, drinking gallons of the stuff, but the people selling it to them know better, and plan on being at the top when utopia strikes. Like in Venezuela or North Korea.

Logic must be consistent. You cannot say that everything is made up of atoms… except blond hair. That doesn’t follow. Conservatives and libertarians are often attacked by progressives for a lack of consistency, “How can you be for the death penalty if you are pro life?” progressives will sneer. As they Ignore their inconsistency of being anti death penalty and pro abortion. Meanwhile, most true libertarians are pro life and anti death penalty. Because government is made up of human beings, and no human being can be fully trusted in every way, and in every circumstance, government cannot be fully trusted in every way, or in every circumstance, yet as progressives hold their fellow man in absolute disregard, they still argue that government is infallible, showing their inconsistency.

Socialism was founded on inconsistency. Rousseau lived as an aristocrat in the most hedonistic way possible, in a hedonistic time where socialists believed themselves God’s equal. He lived the polar opposite of a spartan utilitarian, yet he wrote vociferously about how much better government imposed egalitarianism would be for everyone. It would seem that Rousseau more hated the people he cavorted with than adored equality or outcome. To be consistent I must ask, why then did he live the life of Reilly… if he honestly believed the egalitarian one best? Because he was selling snake oil. The snake oil salesman doesn’t drink it himself! The snake oil of socialism, potentially fatal for large swaths of humanity, is very very profitable for the salesman.

Is the law consistently applied today? For law to be legitimate it must be consistently applied. No matter the victim or perpetrator’s station they both must be equal under the law. Yet today we see in the news daily, that some are above the law, some are subject to it and others are below it’s protections. Those of the progressive faction, that make the laws, can plead ignorance of them and have done so many times. Even as ignorance under the law is no excuse, for those of us not involved in their making. The secretary of state got away with a private server with top secret information on it, with minimal security, while a kid on a submarine took a selfie, and sent it to his girlfriend and went to Portsmouth for it. So, no, law is not consistently applied, it has become arbitrary.

We have shown the foundation of socialism is inconsistent, socialist theory is inconsistent and that theory applied, has led us to have an arbitrary legal system. The progressive faction must be inconsistent, because they are selling snake oil… and they know it. Which is one reason liberals are always on the attack. Progressives, like Obama, live the high life, while decrying it at the same time. Rubbing elbows with celebrities, as they secretly loathe them for their celebrity status… like Rousseau. Progressive leaders are of such low caliber, when in power, they abuse that power to their own selfish aims, even as they demand from everyone else, absolute fealty to their laws. They, by their actions, show themselves to be charlatans and hypocrites of the highest order.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
