Dear Friends,
It seems to me, if you want to know what cons they are playing on you… all you need do is look at what you are not allowed to talk about. If talking about a subject in a negative way gets you canceled… it’s a swindle. People don’t put much effort into silencing someone else unless there’s profit in it. In fact, people are too lazy to censor another without a motive. Plus, why would someone care enough to cancel another over some random topic? Where would the anger come from? The angry person must be losing money, status, or power. Losing such things will trigger rage and wrath. Think of it this way, if someone says something foolish, how adamant are you that they be corrected? How much money, reputation, and effort will you put into correcting them? Not much, I’ll wager.
When someone is willing to spend lots of money to defend a position, that means more money is at stake. Every time someone spends money, it’s an investment. Charity is an investment in a place in heaven, the means of production are an investment in future earnings, and money spent on silencing others is an investment in power. Censorship isn’t cheap. Though the voice controllers have plenty of money themselves, they always use taxpayer money to fund their anti-American campaigns. That way they spend our money to pay for our own censorship. A scheme as elegant as it is evil. This brings up another reason censors silence others… to maintain the flow of money from the government coffers into their pockets. Censorship runs risks though.
Censors run the constant risk of being exposed as liars, and so are at perpetual reputational risk. An example is when they silenced people for saying Covid came from the Wuhan lab and not a pangolin shopping at a supermarket. That lie cost them reputational damage. When the narrative nannies exclaimed the Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, they knew they would eventually be discovered as liars… but the immediate profit at the time made the future cost worth it. Many bureaucrats lied before Congress about the Russian collusion hoax. Meanwhile, other than reputational damage, which can be cleaned up by copious propaganda, there have been no consequences for them. This shows us that for those who lie and censor, there is only profit from the investment in censorship.
Human effort is at a premium in all times and all places. The slave was motivated by the lash, the worker by wages, and the entrepreneur by profit… but what of the zealot who shouts you down, threatens violence, and gets emotional? She is motivated by power. So she has the power to order us to act to improve her lot at the cost to our self interest. The zealot is also pushed by the propaganda she is immersed in. The true progressive foot soldier has no clue what they fight for or what they stand against. All they know are slogans and blind hate. These are enough to keep simps in the front lines, but normies have to be carefully controlled or else they could think for themselves. That is very dangerous to the censors because it undermines the swindle.
A con man is quick-witted, aware, and cagey, while bureaucrats are heavy-handed, ignorant, and dim-witted. That’s why their scams require censorship, propaganda, and ostracism. Gobs of taxpayer cash grease their wheels. They are backed by zealots who believe absurdity and so are willing to commit atrocities, and there are no consequences for any of them. Proving law serves the powerful at the cost to the weak. So… what are we not allowed to talk about? The fact progressivism is fascist in every way is verboten. Exposing the open calls for genocide against the Jews is another forbidden subject. Then there’s the idea that some are sacrosanct, such that any criticism gets one canceled… like a rodeo clown. So if they don’t want us talking about something… that’s all we should talk about.
Sincerely,
John Pepin
