Limericks

Dear Friends,

The more things change the more they stay the same,

In human affairs like government, medicine, and fame,

Groupthink is real,

The flames you feel,

Makes me remember the time that Covid came.

The UK went down that road just last year,

They bravely voted in Labour without a fear,

It quickly went wrong,

The mind of a throng,

But now reform is leading the polls with cheer.

Free food and welfare are quite the draw,

Especially when you’re above the local law,

A jihadist’s dream,

Run by a moonbeam,

And the result will be life by tooth and claw.

The cause celebre of the democrats is clear,

An alien gang banger who does sow fear,

A Maryland man,

He’ll do what he can,

To import his violent gangland culture here.

Only the experts should have a say,

Ordering farmers around all day,

Regulation that harms,

So to save our farms,

We should shut down ag and the EPA.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
