Limericks

Dear Friends,

There once was a Harvard professor defeated,

She claimed slander and she’d been mistreated,

She wrote about honesty,

The results quite zesty,

And as it turns out she knowingly cheated.

The elite say, above the law are we,

We do as we darned well please,

But you toe the line,

Or pay a steep fine,

While we help the politically favored flee.

Exposing republicans and democrats by flashlight,

Calling one a lion and the other a sloth has some bite,

But is it correct,

I might object,

A better description of democrats would be parasite.

Self awareness among democrats is rare,

Pointing out their crimes and flaws is unfair,

Stop the hate,

Believe it mate,

When being berated by a woman with green hair.

The elite want everything to remain the same,

Where truth is subjective and law is a game,

Something dark does tease,

Do you feel the unease,

And the elite have only themselves to blame.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
