Limericks

Dear Friends,

Soros bankrupted the Bank of Britain,

To some that would make him a villain,

But he has political favor,

A darling of globalist labour,

And his image was improved by a billion.

Fact checkers are liars who worry about lies,

Prevarication is something they really despise,

The fact checkers check,

Using only high tech,

And then gaslight us back down to size.

There once were commy hippies,

Appealing to fallacious theories,

Kick it down hence,

Chesterton’s fence,

So the communists can rule us from the cities.

There once was a politician named Durbin,

Often seen riding in a gas guzzling suburban,

He told a few blokes,

As he stepped on some folks,

If I were honest I’d wear a turban.

A scientist referencing history would be wise,

To give valid examples of type kind and size,

Did government sail the sea,

Or individuals seeking notoriety,

‘Cause all government does is make war tax and tyrannize.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
