What is in the self interest of the elite?

It seems to me, People, all people, act in our own self interest. It is possible then, to reason from emphatic self interest or in other words, discerning motivations, to predict actions. When confronted with a fire, for example, a self interested person will refrain from touching it. We can predict that any person of reasoned mind, will not touch a fire, from our understanding of self interest. The media and government are both made up of self interested human beings. If we discern their motivations we can predict what they will do. Out of our understanding of self interest.

If government was doing it’s job well, there would be no crime, wars, poverty or oppression. Were that the case, the power of government would necessarily be low, the people would not watch the news as there would be none of any interest, and so both entities would suffer economic, status and political power. Self interested people don’t willingly suffer economic, status and political loss. We can then predict that people in the media and government are motivated to create the conditions where crime, poverty, oppression and wars abound, so bureaucrats and politicians can hold and grab more power prestige and wealth. Meanwhile, the media has plenty of human suffering to display, and nothing sells like blood. It is in the self interest of people in the media and government then… to create wars, crime, poverty and unrest.

Obviously a civilized person would not create suffering in the world just to get rich, laid and powerful. But our world, society and indeed civilization itself, doesn’t value the civilization in a person. In fact we are programmed in a plethora of ways, not to be civilized, but barbarians. Put a ten thousand dollar suit on a barbarian and all you have is a well tailored savage. A savage who will not blink at crossing any bridge then turning around and burning it behind her. People naturally gravitate to the golden mean, the civilizational norm of behavior if you will, so even the most human hearted person is probably going to follow their self interest, before servicing their debt to civilization. Making self interest all the easier to follow.

Since the dross floats to the top, a much higher percentage of people in positions of power are likely to be psychopaths, and studies have proven this to be true. Those who are psychopaths have no brakes. Psychopathy is an emotional disorder. The psychopath has no empathy, no mercy, loves excitement, considers others inferior, loves to manipulate others especially into self harm, and have a natural charisma. Making them particularly drawn to, and suitable for, for the political arena. Which means many people in positions of power are totally controlled by their self interest.

People have an extraordinary way of self justification. We justify our actions, to ourselves, as a means to disassociate ourselves from guilt. From… the woman raped in the bar had it coming for being in that bar in the first place, to destroying the first step on the economic ladder by raising the minimum wage because it helps the poor, we can justify our outrageous actions to ourselves and our partners in crime, by twisting logic into a Gordian knot. When confronted by a strong motivation even the person not psychopathic, outside the effects of the culture, can self justify actions he or she would never otherwise do… when the crowd does it first. Add in the cultural rot in our morality, along with the natural concentration of psychopaths in executive, political and bureaucratic positions, and you have the perfect storm.

The media has an incentive then to report news in a distorted way to foment trouble. It is not only in the interest of the producers and owners but from the news anchor to the camera person, everyone in that industry has an inducement to create suffering in the world. Violence draws viewers, viewers draw advertisers, and advertisers pay money. Viewers also impart the power to effect the culture. If it is in the self interest of people in media, a group with a higher than normal percentage of psychopaths, human beings who’s morals have been rotted by our toxic culture, and have the extraordinary human ability to self justify any action, and you will have a media that is toxic to the moral, civil and political culture.

So, we have the core reason government never works well, it is not in the self interest of those running it to do so. The media will report distorted news to create more war, crime, outrage, civil unrest and corrode our culture itself, to their own ends. Government cannot ever solve a problem because that would mean the laying off of thousands of bureaucrats! The incentives for people to create good government, government that is not in the way, with low crime, no war and civil harmony are not existent. Every inducement is to go the other way. Perhaps that is why so many civilizations have risen in virtue and fallen in vice. How do we know this again? Because it is in the elite’s self interest to do so.

In Government, Failure is Rewarded.

It seems to me, the worse a government program does, the more money, power and prestige it gets. That is the exact opposite of free enterprise. In free enterprise, those who fail get punished by the laws of the free market, while in government, failure gets a raise, promotion and a corner office. This is because the incentives for government and free markets are polar opposites. In government they are spending someone else money, with only themselves to hold themselves, accountable for it. If they fail at their goal this year they justify to themselves they need more money. With more money comes more employees and more employees means a larger fiefdom. If a government program were to succeed however, that leader would be laid off and her fiefdom dismantled. The incentives for bureaucrats then is to never solve any problem but indeed make them worse.

Crime is up so we are spending more to build a police state. The more our government fails in keeping us safe the more money we will be happy to give government to keep us safe. Even as our politicians give ever wider latitude to factions that are rioting in the streets, they call for more police powers, to stop the violent riots. We are plied with terror, of drugs, foreign powers and religious zealotry… to cajole us into giving the police state even more power. Laws and regulations are passed every day, constraining us in ways even a highly trained lawyer cannot fully comprehend, and so everyone is a criminal whether we know it or not, making the argument, you should only fear government intrusion if you are a criminal, moot. The more our government fails in keeping us safe the more power and money they get.

We face threats from across the globe and so we are spending more on defense. Our media is full of war propaganda now. Anyone who is not terrified, should be, or at least that is what the elite want us to think. Our government is moving troops, like chess pieces, across the globe as other governments do the same. The calls for war fill our nightly news and papers, all the legacy media in lock step… almost as if a single entity or person were calling the shots at them all. The elite tell us we are to believe that these problems just cropped up, that they came at us from the blue and the elite couldn’t have stopped them before. As I mentioned in blogs from the late 2000’s, the elite at the time were sowing the seeds for the next war, either intentionally or due to stupidity. Today those seeds are sprouting, proving the government has failed, once again, to keep global threats minimized… and so government will get more money and power to send our children to die in a war, the elite will never allow us to win.

Our schools can’t even teach our kids to read or make change anymore and so we are spending much more on education. Every year the US spends more on education, and every year the standardized tests have to be lowered, to make up for the lowered outcome. Students graduating high school today consistently score much worse in every measure than students from a decade ago, and they did far worse than students a decade before that. You cannot even compare the level of education of a high school student from the 1950s with today, the level of academic achievement required to graduate today is exponentially lower. That was then, this is now, however, and more failure by our government monopoly education system means more money, prestige and smaller class sizes.

The elite tell us that government spending is what keep sour economy afloat, and so we have to give more money to government, else our economy will collapse. The result is that out of fear of economic Armageddon, we transfer an ever growing percentage of our income to government, to spend virtuously to keep the economy going. Of course this is foolishness, since it is predicated on the idea we will not spend our money or save it. Moreover, the economy grows less and less every year, in the entire Obama Presidency for example, the US economy never exceeded 2%, which is far below historic norms of growth. Yet, since government is failing to stimulate the economy by taking more of our money, printing trillions and borrowing billions, to give to Wall street bankers, we must tax, print and borrow even more.

Perhaps the reason why government fails at everything it does is, the more it fails us, the more we give it. Even the benefit of the doubt. We hate to admit we have been swindled, but government swindles us all the time and we smile and open our checkbooks once again. It is a standing joke that the only form of immortality there is on this planet… is a government program. Every time government fails and we reward it for that failure we are doing ourselves, our children and even government itself, a grave disservice. Those government programs that have failed spectacularly need to be eliminated, they are not jobs programs for half witted bureaucrats unable to get a real job, they are supposed to be purposed programs dedicated to eliminating a societal problem. If they don’t succeed, they should be done away with and if they make that problem worse, as has the departments of Education, Energy, EPA, Bureau of Indian Affairs, ETC… the leaders should be punished as well. Fix the incentives and you have fixed government.

Progressives, the American Fascist Party

It seems to me, the progressive party is, and always has been… the American Fascist party. To reliably tell what a party is, you must look at their platforms and stances, not their empty rhetoric. The platform of the American progressives, of the early twentieth century, matched almost perfectly the platforms of the National Socialist party in Germany at the time. Today the progressives look back to their racist, hate filled, violent, nationalistic and outright evil past, with great warmth. They have not changed a whit. Progressives are still filled with hate, just ask them what they hate, and the diatribe will last all day if you let it, they are overtly racist just aiming at a different race for their hate, just ask them what they feel about Whites, they are still violent, a look at the Berkeley protests and riots after Trump won the election prove this true, and they are more evil than ever, simply examine their unlimited support for abortion, infanticide and glee in killing old people. Progressives are the same they have always been… fascists in everything but name.

The fascists introduced nationalized healthcare to Europe and the long term goal of progressives is to bring single payer to the US. When the Netherlands fell to Nazi Germany the Germans instituted nationalized healthcare for the masses. Hitler was a big supporter of socialism although he hated Soviet Marxism. Nazi Germany introduced dozens of socialistic reforms of the Wiemar economy. They went through the insane asylums and slaughtered most of the people there, for their own good, of course. The Nazis burned books they disagreed with and banned those they couldn’t get their hands on. Speakers at universities had to pass a political test to be able to speak. Moreover it was Kristallnacht that summed up the German progressive party.

Modern progressives hate one group more than all others, the Jews. Oh yes, they hate anyone of European descent, and have a special place in their black hearts for Christians, but it is the Jews that they loathe. Every progressive seeks the extermination of the Jews. You hear it every time they speak of Israel. Demanding the Israelis give up this land or that wall for a peace that will never come, progressives are manipulating the Israelis, into harming themselves. Progressive leaders, being psychopaths have no morals, that is why they embrace moral relativism. To them morality is a thing foreign, something to be attacked and destroyed as it stands directly in their way.

Censorship is a sacrament to progressives just as it was to the Nazi party. Progressives cannot tolerate anyone’s’ point of view if it in any way conflicts with their own. Being insecure, they see discussion as a threat, which it is to them. That is why they riot when a conservative speaker tries to give a talk at a university. They demand we listen to them, and not only tolerate their views, but support and pay for them as well, even as they refuse to allow anyone else the same dignity of tolerance they demand from others. Progressives must be insecure because of people actually understood who progressives are and what they really stand for, the progressive party would have to go underground for another century.

Progressives are war mongers, but progressives only desire a permanent state of war, to forward their plans of total domination. Look at who is the loudest calling for war with Russia, China, North Korea and Syria. Progressives seek to exploit war to create the conditions where we will demand they take more power from us, for our own good of course. The Nazis understood and wanted a permanent state of war as a means to strengthen the German people and evolve them into supermen. Progressives seek a permanent state of war as a problem, which creates a reaction, then the people will demand the solution we wouldn’t have stood for before the problem.

The most telling way to know that progressives are the modern version of fascists is their philosophy matches perfectly with that of the Nazis. Progressives follow the Frankfurt school of thought as did the Nazis. The Frankfurt school is based on the philosophy of Nietzsche, Freud, Darwin and Marx. The Nazis sought to evolve the German people through violence, as Nietzsche urged, just as the progressives today laud and protect violent criminals, both of which are right out of, Thus Spoke Zarathustra and Charles Darwin’s, The Origin of Species. Both the Nazis and progressives believe in manipulating people using psychology ala Freud. Socialism is the economic theory of both the Nazis and progressives, class warfare is another of their platforms as is the destruction of the moneyed class, the only way both progressives and the Nazis reject Marx, is in the inevitability of the socialist revolution.

In every way, progressives and the National Socialist party are alike. They have the same ideologies, hatreds, desire to censor others, the love of killing, desire for total domination and overt violence. Hitler praised the American progressive party and even adopted their ideas for eugenics in his plan for a super race. Progressives and Nazis draw supporters from the same crowd of people as Marxists. They both even wear black as their uniforms, the Nazi SS uniforms were pretty snazzy, and I bet given time and power, the progressives would come out with black uniforms, with a deaths head on them, that are just as sharp looking. So when a progressive points a finger at another, and call them Fascists or Nazis, it is mere rhetoric, they are trying to throw the rest of us off who progressives really are… Fascists in all but name.

It is so progressive to be intolerant.

It seems to me… intolerance is very progressive. Intolerance has been a theme that has ran through all of progressive thought, in fact, intolerance has under girded all of progressive philosophy since it’s inception. The target of progressive intolerance has changed over the years but that current of intolerance has and continues to be the primary motivating factor of progressives. To a progressive, the use of the government’s monopoly on violence to damage the interests of those progressives cannot tolerate, is also a primary attribute of progressivism and progressives. Simply put, progressivism is the philosophy of intolerance masquerading as tolerance.

Intolerance has always been progressive. The first progressives were intolerant of Blacks, Indians, Jews and Chinese. Progressives chastised immigrants and founded the Klu Klux Clan, (KKK), to give their intolerance legs. The first true progressive President, Teddy Roosevelt, loathed the American Indians. Woodrow Wilson brought progressive intolerance to a new level, he openly avowed blacks inferior to Whites, created the KKK, had the opening of the racist movie, The Birth of a Nation, in the White house, he exploited the government’s monopoly on violence to forcibly sterilize anyone he felt unfit to have children, which included at the time, Americans of French Canadian descent, anyone deemed an imbecile and those others that progressives considered unfit to procreate.

The use of government violence is not restricted to Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt was all too happy to visit violence and oppression on those he didn’t like. Following in Wilson’s footsteps, in jailing Americans of German descent during the first world war, FDR jailed Americans of Japanese descent. FDR reveled in the killing of the Second World War, even laughing when Stalin told FDR that he wanted to exterminate the German population, a statement that upon hearing, Winston Churchill stood up in a huff and stomped out of the room in disgust. It is indeed true that intolerance, and the use of government power to enforce intolerance, is a progressive trait from the beginning of progressivism.

Many people today believe that it was Marcuse’s book, Repressive Tolerance that created progressive intolerance, but what it really did was re aim the intolerance that was always there, to another party. Rather than hating people because of their skin color, religion or heritage, progressives changed to hating people because of their ideas. Instead of hating people because of who they are, progressives now hate people, for what they think. Moreover, progressives are all too happy to abuse power to harm those people it is progressive to hate, white Christians, Jews and conservatives no matter their race for example. Obama abused the power of the Presidency, as all progressives before him did, to attack those he could not tolerate. Using the IRS to target conservative groups, Fast and Furious scandal to target constitutionalists and the intelligence gathering power to spy on his political enemies.

The more progressives talk the more you can hear the hatred in their voices. The riots at the election of Trump was another manifestation of progressive intolerance. Recently at Berkeley College, melees have been breaking out, where progressives attack conservatives with clubs and their fists, for having the audacity to speak their minds. Listen to the legacy media, dominated by progressives and listen to the open hatred in their voices as they talk about anyone not progressive. Any progressive will be happy to regale you with all the people he or she hates. There is an endless list of grievances progressives have against those they are intolerant of… today. Tomorrow, if it suits their political needs, they will change the target of their intolerance, but that intolerance cannot be set aside, it defines progressives and progressivism.

Intolerance is truly progressive. It has been the overriding theme of progressivism from the beginning to today. Point this out to a progressive however, and even if they admit the open hatred of early progressives, they will tell you they have updated their intolerance to fit in the modern era, they are intolerant of the right people today. That is why a progressive sees no difficulty whatsoever with forcing Christians to pay for “art” that denigrates Christianity and is profoundly offensive, yet those same progressives fly off the handle when Islam is offended in the tiniest way, even calling for religious laws to protect Muslims from being offended. Today, it has become progressive again to call for the genocide of Jews, in all but name. Progressives hate, it is in their blood, it always has been and always will be. Hate is the primary motivating factor of progressives. To be intolerant and hate filled is as progressive as it gets.

Bureaucrats, Mobs and the Administrative State

It seems to me, mobs come in all shapes and sizes, from a group that overturns cars on their way from a progressive rally, to a group of men in ill fitting suits reeking of garlic, who oversee the day to day workings of a city’s crime. The functional definition of a mob is, a group of people in similar circumstances, such that their mentality will become similarly disposed. By this definition we can see that the bureaucracy is a mob and imparts the mob mentality to those in it. There are uncountable numbers of articles describing the mob mentality, basically, how people in groups are influenced by their peers and how being part of a group, dissolves one’s personal responsibility for our own actions into that group. Looked at in this way it has obvious implications for understanding the nature and functioning of bureaucracy.

It is important to understand the nature and workings of bureaucracy because the fortunes of every soul on the planet is effected by bureaucracy. The modern nation state has evolved beyond legislators, presidents, judges and prime ministers, into the administrative state. Bureaucrats pass laws, prosecute infractions and decide punishments. The entire apparatus of government has devolved back into a single entity. That entity used to be the God king, and now is the god government, in other words, the bureaucracy. You fortune is dependent on the whims of bureaucrats, your business on their proclivity to regulate you out of existence and your very life on the pugnacity of bureaucrats.

The bureaucrat’s belief system is founded in her schooling. Since every bureaucrat today has a degree from university, they all have been inculcated in the progressive mindset, or put another way, the Frankfurt school. The vast majority of bureaucrats think the same way, and believe the same things, because of their schooling, which makes them, by definition a mob. They believe in the godhood of the state and they think all good comes from the state. They have been thoroughly programmed to believe the philosophies of Freud, Marx, Nietzsche and Darwin. Basically, the Frankfurt school teaches… Nietzsche’s superman theory, that crime, violence and suffering will evolve us into supermen, Darwin’s theory of evolution, Marx’s theory of class struggle, the alienation of work and the need to evolve humanity into ants, and Freud’s ideas of the ego, id and super Ego. Atheist to their core, to a bureaucrat these are truths that supersede all other truths, even empirically proven realities.

Once they leave university the programming is reinforced by their peers. The group enforces it’s own codes of conduct and part of that code is the way the members think. Those who enter the bureaucracy and begin to loose their programming are held in check by their peers. To be in any group one must attach herself to that group, believe the requisite beliefs of the group and follow orthodoxy. Those who change their minds are controlled by other members of the group and ejected should they fall too far outside the parameters of what is expected of them. Being a bureaucrat today is very lucrative, with stupendous benefits, outstanding pay and unbelievable pensions. To get evicted from such a profitable job is horrifying to anyone, especially someone with years of schooling that isn’t applicable to anything in the real world.

Distributed responsibility is especially dangerous in bureaucracy. The most heinous crimes ever committed by a human being have been because he or she passed the responsibility to a group, whether it be a NAZI death camp guard following orders, or a Young Turk raping then crucifying a twelve year old girl for being a Christian, was only following his religion, crimes of such unimaginable magnitude, responsibility must, even in the case of psychopaths, be passed to another. The beauty of distributed responsibility is that anything can be done, no matter how evil, and all that needs to happen is for those people acting inhumanly, to pass the blame onto the group. Since a bureaucrat has such unlimited power in the administrative state, no greater evils can be foisted on humanity by any other group, or mob, than bureaucracy.

From the lack of diversity in education and group restricted attitudes, to the open dangers of distributed responsibility, bureaucracy is the most dangerous institutions ever devised by man. The bureaucracy can seize assets, make entire industries illegal or simply uneconomical, create famine, tyrannize anyone they see fit, make common sense illegal and even kill people they find vexing… like unborn children. There is no limit to the power of the administrative state, no checks or balances, no voting to get rid of evil people and no oversight, except by other bureaucrats, with the same ideas, predilections and beliefs. The mob of bureaucracy is far more dangerous than any violent mob, their power is unchecked, their actions go unnoticed and there is no moral limit on them. Even the limitation of the certainty of divine judgment is lifted from them, giving their every whim free reign. There is no one on the planet who is a bigger threat to the health, safety and wealth of the human race than a mob of bureaucrats. Making the administrative state nothing but… mob rule.

The Root of All the World’s Problems

It seems to me, when I look around the world, at all the intractable problems, wars, genocide, unrest, riots, terrorism, crime, etc… the only real problem we face is the breakdown of civility. Were we to follow the teachings of Jesus… and treat others as we would have them treat us, we would be civil, if we loved our neighbors as much as ourselves, civility would reign, when we look to the plank in our own eye rather than the mote in another’s, we are practicing civility. Those who are more than willing to cast the first stone, even though they themselves are not free of sin, are being uncivil. Civility is human heartedness in action. All the problems we seem to face have their root in civility, those who act violently, making war, ginning up war, rioting, looting, stealing and murdering, have thrown off the armor of civility and taken up the banner of barbarism.

I would think it obvious that any crime with a victim stems from a lack of civility. If one is treating others as they would be treated, only a masochist would treat others badly. We would have to say such a person is disconnected from reality in some way. Perhaps he has a deep seated self loathing. This is because we all know, people want pleasure, power and pomp. The man who slaps his wife would be very offended if he himself were slapped across the face, and so it is obvious that those who hand out evils to others are treating others, not as they themselves would be treated, but treating others as they themselves would never tolerate. You see… a lack of civility.

No one is built up by taring them down. When we ridicule others, for their own good, we are looking at the mote in the eye of another while ignoring the plank in our own. Genuine heartfelt help, when asked for it, with only a view to improve the lot of another is clearly practicing civility, but ridicule and complaining, only undermines the will to do better. Ordering someone to change this or that aspect of themselves is a clear message you think them, incompetent, lazy, inept, and many other phrases that follow from extending the logic. You raze a building to destroy it, people raze other people’s self esteem to destroy it, destroying a thing never builds it up. No matter if the person doing the razing has fooled themselves about it or not. It is best to look to solve our own problems, and there is not one among us who doesn’t have plenty, and let others solve their own, unless they ask for help.

Where would there be war if people loved their neighbors as themselves? Who would make war upon themselves? That would be absurd. Yet our world is filled with wars and rumors of wars, so we can say with certainty, that people are not loving their neighbors as themselves. People wage war, both politically and personally, for gain or revenge. In the case of gain it is just another word for stealing, and in the case of revenge it is the perpetuation of hatred, certainly not love. What is so hard about loving our neighbors? If they are rude simply smile and go on, if they are standoffish give them room, rather than be ready to be offended at the least provocation. The wise know that it is in our personal best interests to love our neighbors, and be forgiving, both in politics and in person.

Have you ever noticed the people who are always the first to cast stones at others usually live in glass houses? It’s like they think that by hurting someone else, that somehow cleans them of their sin, but of course, it only adds to their sin. Jesus hung out with prostitutes, tax collectors, fishermen, the lowest class at the time. He didn’t cling to the elite seeking fame through them, he lived a life without sin making him uniquely qualified to cast stones at sinners, yet he refused. Even though he could point a finger of blame at another, without three pointing back at him, he didn’t. It is self evident then, that for us with our sinful nature to cast stones at others, in any form, is not following Jesus’ example, and is not civil.

Every problem we face, as the human race, has it’s roots in a lack of civility. The more we move away from civility, treating others as we would not tolerate, hating our neighbors, poking at the more in other people’s eyes with our dirty fingers and casting stones away from our glass houses… the more our civilization, political, economic and social will crumble. You see, it is not wisdom to cast off true wisdom because it is old, but foolishness. To follow the new simply because it is new, is no different in logic than accepting as truth a thing, because it comes from authority. We know both in our hearts and in our minds that the truths, love thy neighbor, do unto others, look to the plank in our own eyes, and be civil, all the problems we face would simply vanish. But, it is too hard to do these things, and much easier… to bandage people, rebuild after wars, watch our loved ones die, console weeping family, lawyer up, avoid eye contact become accustomed to terror and accept crime.

Big Guy Versus the Little Guy

It seems to me, the role of government has always been, and continues to be, to keep the little guy down, while protecting the big guys from the little guys. The founding of the US ushered in a new paradigm but the elite, over the course of a century managed to evolve even that virtuous national ethos back to the traditional one. Today there is not a nation on the planet that allows the little people to compete on a level playing field with the big guys. With an eye to calculation, the elite use the power of propaganda to convince the little guy that they work for him, against the little guy’s interests. This is done in a myriad of ways. Usually they offer up a piece of legislation that sounds good, a hike in minimum wage for example, but actually works against the interests of the little guy. We have shown such a propensity for falling for the trick, the elite know they have nothing to fear from us, because we will fall for it over and over again.

Income taxes are the ideal example. At the beginning of Obama’s Presidency, the billionaire Warren Buffett told a crowd of drooling reporters that he was incensed, his secretary paid a higher tax rate than he did. This was reported all across the media landscape as proof Buffett is a human hearted man. So the elite in government dutifully raised his secretary’s taxes, cut Buffett’s and gave him a monopoly for his choo choo trains to carry crude oil from Canada to Texas refineries. Of course transporting oil on trains is exponentially more dangerous then in a pipeline, as Lac Magantic proves, a few dozen little people burning to death is a small price for them to pay however, for the wonderful philanthropist Buffett’s monopoly profits. The entire affair was nothing but a propaganda exercise that worked perfectly.

People who work for a living pay a much higher tax rate than people who derive their income from investments. The already rich derive their income from investments and can pay accountants to protect their income from the tax man, those of us who labor for our daily bread however, have little left to pay an accountant and tax lawyer to protect ours, so we pay through the nose. The false meme that people earning over 200k should be taxed to death, only serves to keep the rest of us down, and protects the uber wealthy from having to compete with us. This is because the guy earning over 200k is not rich yet, she is trying to get rich, and the elite cannot tolerate that, so we are plied with propaganda based on jealousy and envy. The little guy is again tricked into damaging our own interests and protecting those of the elite.

Regulations are all about keeping us down. The role of regulations, despite what the elite tell you they are, is to protect a politically favored group or industry. Let’s say someone starts a business and manages to get rich despite the array of government regulations, taxes, cronyism and corruption. The first thing he will do is turn around and close the door behind him. This is done with regulations. He will use some of his wealth to lobby government to pass regulations making his industry “more safe.” Of course more safe always means a higher bar to entry. That higher bar, one that the already rich didn’t have to leap, protects the elite from having to compete with the hungry entrepreneur. The old saying, Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in three generations is one of the primary motivating factors here.

The children of the uber rich never grow up. They don’t have to. So they are ill prepared to compete with people who have grown up in the school of hard knocks. That is why in a traditional capitalist economy this saying holds true. Today however the elite have put in place a whole plethora of ways to protect their half witted grandchildren. Trust funds, regulations preventing competition, taxes to keep the working woman down and cronyism that only allows certain people to do certain things. In South America they haven’t had a free market… ever. I have a friend from Guatemala Brolio. One day we were talking and I mentioned to him that land in Guatemala must be pretty cheap, and the forest products industry pays handsomely for the lumber from that part of the world. I went on to say that if him and I went in together to buy some land and used good silvicultural practices we could make a mint. He laughed and laughed at the very thought. Shocked, I asked why? He replied that only certain people in Guatemala can own land.

The next time you have to cut a check to the government for some arcane regulation you ran afoul of, to pay a tax you weren’t aware of, to get permission from the government to engage in economic activity or buy equipment that you have no use for, to satisfy some government rule, you are experiencing this in action. You are being actively held down so the elite don’t have to compete with you. Next time you get fined by some self important bureaucrat, you’re economic future is being crushed by government, to save the fortune of a half wit. This has been the role of government from time immemorial. Oh yes, there have been a few times, short periods where this wasn’t the case, and those times have been immortalized as golden ages. Ancient Greek democracy, Roman republic, the founding of the US and the early years of free enterprise also known as the Enlightenment, are the few examples. Notice however, that those periods were short, singular and most importantly, the nations and societies involved have never risen again. This is why there is and always will be a huge disparity of wealth in the world.

On The Chemical Weapon Attack in Syria

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, someone was fooling with chemical weapons in Syria, and children were killed horribly as a result. Those responsible should be hounded to the ends of the planet. What we shouldn’t do however, is act out of emotion, rather we should investigate and see who was actually responsible, lest we reward the evil doer. The last chemical attacks on civilians were initially blamed on Assad but, as it turned out, was actually ISIS/ Al Qaida. Moreover it is patently not in Assad’s interest to stir up a hornet’s nest like that, but it is in the rebel’s interest to drag the war out. That coupled with the fact that Assad was deemed to have given up all of his chemical weapons by the UN, Russia and the US… and it isn’t immediately credible the attacker was Assad.

All the witnesses were rebels who clearly have incentive to pin any blame on Assad. I believe the most likely scenario is the weapons were stored there and were released during a conventional air strike. The rebels would not want to tell the world they were storing chemical weapons, presumably, to use against civilians someday. The other most likely scenario is the rebels themselves used the Sarin on children to garner sympathy and pull the US into the war on their side. Either possibility is far more likely than Assad trying to loose the war.

I believe people are self interested. Those who are not self interested are by definition insane. For Assad to have launched that attack was clearly not a self interested act. Therefore to believe Assad launched the attack, one must also believe Assad is insane. That is of course possible, I don’t know the man personally, nor do I care to, however people who rise to positions of such power are usually psychopathic, they are rarely psychotic. While a psychopath will happily kill children if it forwards his or her agenda, they will never kill when it will come back and bite them. Psychopaths have no remorse but are filled with selfish desires.

The last chemical attacks were actually Al Qaida and ISIS. The evidence is overwhelming. They tried to pull Obama into the war and it almost worked. There is a wise old saying… past actions are predictors of future actions. Since in the past Assad has not used chemical weapons, but the rebels have as false flags to draw the US into their war, it follows that the rebels are likely to have do it this time as well. Let’s face it, the rebels are responsible for the genocide of Christians and Yazidis, which proves they are evil to the core, evil people will not hesitate to slaughter children, and since they already have, it follows they are capable of such heinous actions.

The UN, Russia and even the US under Obama said that Assad gave up his chemical weapons. The UN certified that Assad had given them all up, so where did he get the Sarin? Did Assad hide it? There is plenty of precedent for the US and Europe to immediately attack and kill any autocrat on the planet who gives up his weapons of mass destruction, (WMD). That has become a standing policy. So now that Assad has given up his, the West will go to any length to kill him. It would seem that the West is adamant that dictators get and hold WMD for whatever reason. Rest assured though, there is a reason the elite want tyrants to have WMD, and that reason is not in our best interests, but theirs.

There are those in the US and Europe who want war. Eisenhower called them the military industrial complex. They are the shadow government… the deep state if you will. The deep state owns our legacy media and use it as their propaganda arm. The evidence for that is also overwhelming but I don’t have the space to get into it in this article. There are plenty of other articles on the web that illustrate this fact. Those in the deep state want war, because it fills their pockets with gold, and their hands with power. They care nothing if your son or daughter is killed horribly, theirs are safe and protected. I am not a senator’s son, are you, are your children? If not then all they are to the deep state is cannon fodder.

One last thing in my mind proves Trump was wrong in attacking Syria, Hillary Clinton said she would do it an hour before Trump did. Moreover, the elite are lining up behind Trump for this attack. When the elite are in lockstep behind anything, I run the other way, because I know they are not looking out for my self interest but theirs and theirs alone… at cost to mine. I agree with Ron Paul on this one. That the deep state supports this move proves it the wrong one. Moreover, backing Trump because he is “our man,” is as blindly stupid as those who hate him because he is not, “their man.”

The evidence and basic logic show that it is highly unlikely that Assad attacked that compound with Sarin. Unless he is insane he wouldn’t have done it, he couldn’t have done it if the UN is correct that he gave up his WMD, and the rebels, who have proven themselves to be monsters that make Alien look like a cuddly puppy by comparison, have done it in the past and have captured WMD stockpiled. What we have done, by attacking Syria, is helped those who killed children with Sarin gas. We have taken sides, unwittingly I pray, with the most evil people on the planet. People responsible for genocide, mass slaughter of civilians and the systematic rape of little girls, we now call them allies. Those are the people we have crawled into bed with. They played Trump for a fool and he played along.

Profit for Suffering

It seems to me, now that selling baby parts for profit is acceptable, while those who expose the practice are tried as felons, our civilization has sold it’s very soul for a few silver coins. Before selling part of a human being, that human being must be killed, moreover, in order to sell the parts of a baby that has been aborted as a means of execution, the baby must have been killed more painfully than normally, by dismemberment. His or her arms and legs cut off as they fight the abortionist’s scissors, keeping the torso intact and thus the baby alive, suffering, for as long as possible, to maximize the profits. To do such an act, or to condone such and act requires, as primary qualities, a total lack of compassion, human heartedness and empathy, in short humanity, in the classic sense of the word. Then to prosecute those who expose the practice as felons, along with rapists, murderers and drug kingpins, shows the absolute loathing it has of goodness, and is to conflate exposing an evil with actual profound evils. A civilization that would act in such a way is a civilization that has no soul, no spark of goodness and is both in and going to a very very dark place.

Planned Parenthood was just exposed unequivocally and undeniably, for torturing to death the babies it is aborting, to maximize the profit for the body parts in the marketplace. Apparently, the slower and more agonizing the death of the baby, the more lucrative the profit for Planned Parenthood. Since the government itself has crawled into bed with Planned Parenthood, the revelation has showed not only the diabolical nature of Planned Parenthood, but the fiendishness of our government as well. That those in government have no problem with torturing babies to death, to raise capital for progressive projects, is incontrovertible proof those same people have no humanity in them. Both those at Planned Parenthood, and their backers in government, have no soul because they sold it to Beelzebub for a temporal good.

The people who have now been shown what is happening and do nothing to stop it are equally as guilty showing our entire culture has lost it’s empathy, compassion and humanity. How can people see such evil, know they are helping pay for it by their tax dollars, and say nothing? That speaks volumes about the inhumanity of the people, but those who defend the practice actually take up the mantle for such evil and carry it. How empty inside does someone need to be to defend torturing babies to death for their body parts? Make no mistake, that is what the actual contention is. One side believes torturing babies to death for fun and profit is good, the other side says that it is evil and fundamentally wrong. Those who do nothing have chosen to side with those who believe slow torture for and innocent baby is perfectly acceptable.

It can be argued that all morality is a selfish act. I am against slavery because if any human being can be enslaved, and I am a human being, therefore I can be enslaved… then to be against slavery is a self interested act, I am against stealing because if anyone is stolen from, then I can be stolen from, Murder, if anyone can be murdered… The logic is clear. In the case of abortion however, everyone who is against it, and everyone who is for it, has already been born. The ven diagram of people subject doesn’t in any way intersect the ven diagram of people deciding the subject. That changes the calculation completely when it comes to the morality of abortion. To be against abortion is a selfless act, I am against abortion because someone is hurt, even though it is impossible for me to take their place, unlike slavery or murder. Selflessness is a higher quality, one not found in people or civilizations that lack empathy, compassion and human heartedness.

What we have is a society, culture, and civilization that is so dark, so empty inside, it has completely lost the higher qualities. Our leaders have led us to this place where we can read about Planned Parenthood dismembering babies for fun and profit, have a moment of outrage, then take another sip of our morning coffee, complaining the coffee is too weak today, and not give another thought to the crime against humanity that we have just been made complicit to. We as a culture have sold our soul out of pure selfishness. We give obvious evil a pass and condemn the good for any minor flaw. We serve our new master with the gusto of a zealot. To have created a civilization so empty inside, cold hearted and inhuman surely must be a great accomplishment for Lucifer. That we have allowed it is just as great a blotch on us. Like I said before, we are in a very dark place, and headed to a much darker one.

Profiting from the Suffering of Others

It seems to me, the idea that companies shouldn’t make a profit from curing diseases, if implemented, would insure no disease would ever be cured. Often what sounds good and human hearted, when considered pragmatically, is very bad. The good of the human race is improved when there is a means for one to profit personally from solving the problems of another. As in all things we are self interested… you as much as I. To deny that is to deny human nature. Some would argue that government would step in and provide the funding for new drugs and cures, that however, forgets the pernicious incentives of government programs. If the profit motive were removed from the pharmaceutical industry, why would shareholders keep their hard earned money in investments that can only loose money, why would people study years taking on tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loan debt, to get into an industry that is not profitable, so you see, if the high minded ever managed to remove the profit motive from curing disease, the lot of Mankind would be drastically lowered.

I think we can all agree that one of the primary goods our modern society and civilization provide, is healthcare. We enjoy longer healthier lives than at any time in human history. Today, a heart attack gets a stent or two, a broken leg no longer requires amputation, a burst appendix is no longer a death sentence and blood letting is a thing of the past. We have drugs to normalize our blood pressure and drugs to lower our LDL. These, along with all the advancements in our understanding of human health, come from scientists following their own self interest. All of the advancements we enjoy are as a result of capitalism making it profitable to cure disease and treat ailments.

Some will pretend government can take over from here, heck, some will even claim government is the source of our good fortune in health care today. Such foolishness is Pollianish at best disingenuous at worse. It is not in the self interests of a scientist working for government to solve the problem he or she is working on, it is not in the self interest of anyone in government to solve any problems they are tasked with solving. In fact, it goes directly against their self interest to solve them, because if they do, they will be immediately rewarded… by loosing their job! If a program were to solve the problem that created it, that program would no longer need to exist and so it would be eliminated. That is why no government program ever solved anything. To do so would be antithetical to the interests of every man and woman in that agency. People are nothing if not self interested, and so the incentives for government to actually solve anything doesn’t exist, put government in charge of solving a problem and you have given that problem immortality.

It sounds good though doesn’t it, no one should make a profit from someone else suffering, how can you disagree with that, are you heartless? Well, it sounds great if you don’t think about it, and most people don’t. Once you actually burn a calorie or two thinking about it however, the logic falls flat, showing it to be a purely emotional argument. Even if someone were so inclined to help others, first they must feed themselves, else they will die and cannot help others. It is obvious then, that time taken to feed , clothe and find shelter for oneself, outside helping others, will take away time and ability to help others. In the real world this means people will not be able to cure disease, help accident victims or invent new drugs as a full time job but only as a part time hobby. Moreover, the individual inclined to cure disease, unless absurdly rich, (which the progressive and socialists hate as well), will not have the capital to engage in the laborious and expensive testing and experimentation it takes to bring a drug to the people. Then there is the issue of liability, who would spend their personal fortune to develop, test and distribute a new drug to solve an age old problem, if they are subject to a lawsuit if someone is damaged by it?

We are bombarded every day by propaganda that only makes sense in an emotional way but when considered in the cold stark light of logic, is absurd, and will lead to the exact reverse of what the speaker and the listener believe and want. In the case of health care, if the socialist ideas, ideas that sound great but once you think about it, aren’t, those nice sounding phrases will lead to the exact opposite of what we want and have grown accustomed to. The legal system in every country, being egoistically self interested, is only too happy to enrich itself because someone took a blood thinning drug to stave off a coronary, and had a bleeding episode, or destroy and entire industry over a fictitious ailment leading to a much more dangerous procedure taking it’s place. The interests of humanity are only served when people are allowed, indeed encouraged, to profit from the suffering of others, or to put it more accurately, when people are allowed to profit from curing the suffering of others.
