Limericks – Then They Bray

Dear Friends,

There once was a parliament in Europe you see,
Filled with the smartest people and stupidity,
Poop where they eat,
Pride and conceit,
And failures as leaders by every ruler there be.

The unaccountable power of a judge is great,
They’re above the law especially a reprobate,
A sacred cow,
Is political now,
So our corrupt courts have exposed their hate.

The electorate has diffuse and varying goals,
But many are open to taking on slavery roles,
A complicated move,
As Labour does prove,
There’s nothing like failure to raise your polls.

Perspective is the focus that you can’t beat,
What you call a thing is a con and cheat,
Is a good sought,
A subjective thought,
Or is it the same when talking of roasted meat.

Failure of leadership is common ______,
Backed by courts bailing their ___,
But many don’t care,
Not even ______,
Until tasting their food then they bray.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
