Limericks – Golden Gleams

Dear Friends,

Every news story has a theme,
They are deeper than they seem,
Each involves trust,
Turned to dust,
By the corruption of the elites’ team.

There once was a zealot in mint,
Thought he knew but he didn’t,
Spoke loud and blind,
With arrogance unkind,
And made a fool of himself in print.

Anyone who complains is a racist and such,
No money for you so you’ll have to go Dutch,
Spending shows priorities,
Of the captured authorities,
But for replacements no amount is too much.

That which doesn’t reproduce then converts,
And therefore its nature is that it subverts,
Made not born,
From God shorn,
So it should be no surprise that evil perverts.

Narratives oft replace truth it _____,
Even as the ignorant produce _____,
Warping ________,
Building causality,
Trapping the gullible with golden gleams.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
