Dear Friends,
You cant kill a hydra by cutting off a head,
Religion and politics are incestuously wed,
Go for the heart,
That’s the hard part,
Because it requires killing the ideology instead.
Mancur Olsen was of the progressive faction,
A thinker of his time who got much traction,
When money’s at stake,
We notice, act and take,
And his book is the Logic of Collective Action.
Saints turn bad rot and begin to sour,
Censoring shouting and making us cower,
It’s not a club,
Here’s the rub,
All evil rises from an imbalance of power.
He want’s to live forever what the heck,
His telomeres are short age to wreck,
A genetic lift,
But what if,
He slips on some stairs and breaks his neck?
Faction has many heads but one ______,
Where ideology lay and hidden in the _____,
A rotted mess,
A ripped dress,
And their immortal power smothers in a _____.
Sincerely,
John Pepin
