The Unreliable Press

Dear Friends,

I find it utterly galling that the New York Times NYT is still considered authoritative and the New York Post NYP isn’t. The NYT filed a dismissal in a court case against Project Veritas, arguing they couldn’t be held libel for lies in their news section because everyone knows it’s just opinion. The judge ignored the argument since the NYT had backed up the story citing another source… that cited the NYT story. Circular citing is a sure sign of a news outlet that takes its opinion seriously. That incident in and of itself is damning of the NYT. How can any rational person who knows that take them seriously ever again? Meanwhile the NYP broke dozens of stories the NYT and other payola press outlets had to play catch up… years later. Further discrediting them.

The Biden Laptop was a hell of a story to spike… yet that’s exactly what the Mockingbird Media did. They spiked it. The NYP out of all of them was the only actual news outlet. Why do I say that? Because they fearlessly broke the story and backed it up. Even in the face of a coordinated lie that it was merely Russian disinformation. Meanwhile the NYT led with the letter signed by the now discredited spies claiming it was all lies. We know better now, but then, the lie helped sway an election. There were consequences for those who reported the story though. Fox news was sued and they fired Tucker Carlson for it. Because they reported an uncomfortable truth. Then there’s the computer repairman who sued Twitter for libel and was forced to pay their attorney fees.

The Biden Diary was left in a halfway house for recovering addicts. The girl who found it sold it. Eventually the Diary made it to Project Veritas and James Okeefe. They deemed it unverifiable so unprintable. So they gave the diary to the FBI. Later during their lawsuit against the NYT for the smear on Veritas over a story exposing open election fraud in Michigan, the FBI raided Okeefe’s home in a predawn raid with guns drawn. They left him handcuffed half naked on his lawn in front of his neighbors. The FBI claimed they wanted the dairy they already had… so they took all his attorney client privileged information. Somehow that information got into the hands of the NYT, who oddly enough, knew of the raid because they called him while he was handcuffed and mocked his arrest.

One wonders if anything the NYT reports is indeed truthful? Oh, I’m sure most of it is truth with lies strategically mixed in or truths connivingly left out. The result though is a lie. Spurious arguments that sound logical but are in fact meant to mislead. Moreover, their lies go back centuries. Remember the Maine? They have had blood on their hands since the Spanish American war at least. Showing their long and storied history of yellow journalism. How can such an inversion of truth maintain the luster of the “Paper of record?” The cadmium spoon maintains its electroplated sterling reputation by sustained and ruthless propaganda. Nevertheless, it’s time to stop using that cadmium spoon because the electroplating has worn off and it’s polluting the porridge.

The NYT is only one aspect of the corruption in our legacy news organizations. It’s the most prominent and like any other elephant in the room, everyone tiptoes around it, but it’s not the only one. Many media organizations maintain the Russia collusion lie to this day, and by maintaining that conspiracy alive, they keep the possibility of charges alive over it as well. Even as many maintain the lie that the Biden laptop was stole. Yea stolen from under a girl’s own bed after it had been abandoned there for months. That girl went to jail as an example to those who expose the elites’ dirty laundry. Meanwhile all the lies, lies that cost lives, are rewarded by the powers that be. Creating a perfect inversion of truth, justice, and the American way. Now that’s progressive!

Sincerely,
John Pepin
