Limericks

Dear Friends,

The message it sent was clear,
Do as your told my dear,
Watch the door,
There are plenty more,
So mind your vote or fear.

What a pity her reputation it just flew,
Of lies and propaganda she had a slew,
Showing Tommy’s a fine fellow,
Proving her journalism’s yellow,
Because when she came she didn’t have a clue.

Opportunities to limit power are rare,
When patriots are in the dragon’s lair,
Opinions get laundered,
Chances easily squandered,
And when back the dragon will eat its fare.

So many of the crimes remain unsolved,
Such a great nation has so devolved,
They worry of instigation,
But why no investigation,
Because the UK’s elite were involved.

Despotism is a form of progression,
Advancing until it leads to aggression,
Justice is uncouth,
Know this truth,
Our Constitution is now a mere suggestion.

Sincerely
John Pepin
