Limericks

Dear Friends,

Unintended consequences and concentrated power,

Go hand in hand like baking soda, lard, and flour,

The goal is laudable,

The result laughable,

But the elite will keep piling biscuits into a tower.

There once was an institution egotistic,

With ideas and plans not realistic,

Squandering money all day,

Hoping reality would go away,

But in fact were committing seppuku ritualistic.

Patel’s investigation will be disjointed,

There’s no charging the anointed,

They’re above the law,

It’s a built in flaw,

So if you expect justice you’ll be disappointed.

Motherhood was made a caricature,

To sever women from their nature,

Kids were aborted,

While girls cavorted,

And Elinor Rigby is their future.

The progressives are opposed to prosperity,

Wanting all wealth for their own posterity,

Regulating it away,

Taxing us today,

And treating the masses with severity.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
