Limericks

Dear Friends,

There once was a press in the pocket of the elite,

They pushed the same narrative to stave off defeat,

Defending the wrong,

Singing a terrible song,

And serving the beast that pays for their meat.

Ancient kings claimed religious authority,

To create a national political conformity,

Being wise demi gods of course,

Whipping down from a high horse,

Now our demi gods are in the medical community.

Moral panics are so very regressive,

Conjured up by neurotics obsessive,

In truth it’s a tool,

Of control and rule,

And wielded always by the progressive.

Hegemony the globalist elitist’s do seek,

Who loath and detest the populist’s reek,

So censor they must,

Eroding our trust,

And closing down news stations for wrongspeak.

Now let us not jest or prevaricate,

The hegemonic faction is using hate,

There’s no explanation,

How much exploitation,

Depends on how much government you tolerate.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
