It seems to me even a mama bear isn’t as dangerous as a wounded bear, because it is mindless in its wrath. Keeping this in mind, it’s increasingly apparent the globalist elite are wounded and are acting like a wounded bear. They’re mindless in their wrath and lack self awareness in their actions. Every time someone criticizes them as censors then they prove the critic right, by censoring them, their lack of self awareness is manifested for the world. Even as the globalists are panicked at the temporary loss of USAID to fund their globalist agenda. So panicked they have triggered their sycophants to engage in stochastic terrorism. They are experiencing the feeling of a victim escaping their claws. A sure meal gone. Now their growling stomach adds to their blind wrath.
Progressives have played the long game for well over a century. The early progressives were identical to the Marxists, except for one thing… they lost faith in The Revolution. You can’t fit a cigarette paper between a Marxist and progressive when it comes to final policy… it’s in the path to despotism that they differ. The progressives realized communism could be implemented by stages. First fight for “rational” regulation of everything. Even the cutting of hair needs to be regulated by the all seeing all knowing administrative state. A pantheon of experts who would do our thinking for us. Eventually the regulators would be the sovereign… as is the case today in many nations. The UK for example, has a king, but the sovereignty rests in the bureaucracy.
The early progressives thought the capitalist system was bound to collapse. Then, with the right people in the right places when it did, they would simply usher in the new system and utopia would be the result. When Reagan won the Cold War they were agog. Complexity had won out against the centrally planned system. So a few intellectuals mutated Marxism into Woke. That worked splendidly. Intersectionalism allowed the despots to protect whomever they wanted and justify their atrocities because they argued, circularly, that there is no real truth, only power. So they exploit power to protect those they deem need protecting. Using their positions of power they expand it in the name of social justice… which is indistinguishable from Thrasymachus’ philosophy.
The train was rolling down the tracks to global totalitarianism when public opinion and the election of Trump derailed it. The Russian collusion hoax, violent upheaval, denying people their rights under color of law, and finally election fraud got the train back on the track, but it was dented and dirty. Then Musk bought Twitter and cut a track off entirely and the train derailed again. This time allowing truths to come out that set the cross ties on fire. So much so that without their monopoly control of the bureaucracy many would be looking at going to jail. In Europe they EU has subdued the democratic process to the administrative state, controlled speech and even thought… or so they thought. But even that wasn’t enough. The rise of populist parties has forced the globalists to act the despots.
When an unelected plutocracy bans candidates and parties in elections from thousands of miles away… there can be no clearer sign of hubris and fear. The fear of a wounded bear that thought it had a meal and discovered it had a bullet wound instead. Now the globalist bear is thrashing around, maybe mortally wounded and in those death throws it’s likely to do a great deal of damage. The globalists have already started a war with Russia and threaten to make it continental… again. How can anyone deny the clear panic of the globalists? Nothing says blind frustration like censoring, banning, and arresting people for wrongthink. So try to limit your exposure to their teeth and claws as best you can. Moreover, put another bullet into the monster… to put it out of its misery before it does any more damage.
