When The Extraordinary Becomes Ordinary

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, that the extraordinary has become commonplace, means we live in extraordinary times. So much of what we don’t bat an eye at, even a decade ago, would have shocked the most progressive person. I have often said, if you live in a sewer you cannot but help smelling like it, you don’t notice it… and we live an example. We go about our daily lives masked, with multiple clearly worthless vaccinations, socially distanced, tolerating a spike in suicides, overdoses and thought crimes, as we get our Soma from the TV news every night. The list of absurdities we accept as normal, the new normal if you will, are astounding. The extraordinary has indeed become commonplace today, proving that we do live in extraordinary times. The question now becomes… what are we going to do about it?

Could you have imagined twenty years ago that critical race theory would be taught in our public schools? The cringe fringe was already lionizing dingle berries like Mao, Che and Marx, but everyone thought them nutcases. Especially when the lesson of the Twentieth Century is that communism is a failed system. Today, the former fringe is the hegemony in our public schools, higher education and the agencies that regulate them. People preaching in the public schools, on Martin Luther King day, that we must not judge people by the content of their character but by the color of their skin, and no one shrieks at the absurdity, is truly astounding. I wonder if any public High school today has an industrial arts program, home economics or art classes? Now that is pretty extraordinary.

What does the War on drugs have in common with the war on terror? The elite lost them both. The year the US entered the War on Terror in 2001, the drug overdose deaths in the US were around 20,000, last year they were around 100,000. Clearly, the drugs were far more wily, smart and effective, than the government officials… paid well over 100k a year with gold plated benefits and an 80% retirement. Obviously the bureaucrats were not paid well enough to do their job. Meanwhile they were busying themselves with losing the war on terror. When the US fled Afghanistan the Taliban were in much better position than when the US invaded. Never mind the American kids who died, were wounded, have PTSD and the suffering of uncountable others. Both examples are just extraordinary.

The progressive faction has one thing it is exceptional at, and their response to the Wuhan Flu is the epitome of it… failure. The death rate in 2021 has been higher than in 2020! Despite the “effective” vaccine. The falsity that the unvaccinated are the cause is proved a lie by the facts. When no one was vaccinated, there were fewer deaths, than when most are? Proving the vaccinations are worthless, at least at stopping the spread, severity and death rate of the Rona. Since people were better off without the vaccines. Maybe, if it doesn’t work thrice… take it a dozen times? Sooner or later it might… or not. Regardless, it is handy as a reason to implement a Beast system, complete with a Mark. Even a zealot has to admit, a higher death rate when we supposedly have vaccines, is extraordinary.

Now that you realize we live in a sewer, and smell like it, are you going to get out and take a shower? How about doing something to change the extra ordinary times we live in… to more normal times? Setting on the couch, eating Cheetos and watching masked singer… while complaining to our spouse about the cost of the Cheetos, hasn’t worked. We need to become active. Contact your representatives, senators and the President. Don’t count on those who gave us these extraordinary times to get us back to normal though. “Rotten wood is no good for carving…” -Confucius. Get involved in the primaries. They are where the action is. Bring in new blood, zealous for the fight and true in their love of the US, our Constitution and the people. If we do, instead of complain… we can get back to normal.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
