Dear Friends,
It seems to me, the Double Slit Experiment tells us that reality comes in two flavors, or states, a Wave and a Solid State. In that experiment, light was found to be both a wave, and upon observation or measurement, a particle. Therefore reality must have two states, a Wave State (nonlocal, potential, and un-collapsed) and a Particle State, (local, determined, and collapsed). Our science has plumbed the observable and measurable particle State. This idea seems to explain the logical paradoxes, physical singularities, as well as “supernatural phenomenon.” If there are two states to reality and our physics mostly only models the Solid State, then our scientists don’t even know half of reality even exists… let alone are able to model it. Moreover, this hypothesis is falsifiable, making it an actual theory.
The Double Slit Experiment has been around for over a century and its full implications are yet to be realized. The proven quantum erasure effect itself implies the Wave State isn’t local even in time itself. Moreover, the experiment has been done with protons, neutrons, electrons, and even molecules, showing the Wave and Solid States are fundamental to material reality. What else can we conclude? Up to now most scientists have disregarded the deep implications of that experiment. That reality comes in two phases, a Wave State and a Solid State. Moreover that the physics able to model the Solid State obviously can’t model the Wave State. On the other hand, we have examples of Wave State models that are applied today, like Maxwell’s vectors as opposed to Ampere’s Solid State equations.
Under this paradigm magnetic force may be a Wave State phenomenon. Perhaps even gravity will be discovered to be Wave State physics. One could imagine that when a neutron star collapses into a black hole, a physical singularity, the physics break down because it’s phase changed into a Wave State. The information is still there, stored in the Wave State. So it may be fully explainable with Wave State physics. What about UFOs? If they’re aliens, then they may have discovered Wave State physics and therefore technology. That’s why they are able to defy the “laws” of physics. They only defy the laws of Solid State physics… not Wave State physics. Even such crazy notions like the Mandela Effect could be some kind of macro quantum erasure effect based on Wave State Physics?
Then there’s the possibility that life and consciousness are both Solid State manifestations of Wave State phenomenon. Moreover, if consciousness is a Wave State phenomenon then that could explain why observation collapses the wave function? Waves interacting and one canceling the other out? What about telepathy, remote viewing, and such? If they are Wave State phenomenon, then observation, especially measuring scientific observation, would collapse them, making them un-observable in the Solid State. They can only be implied… like dark matter is implied by its influence on matter and not by direct observation. The explanatory ability of the Two State model is sufficient to make me leery. If something explains everything… it explains nothing.
The beauty of the Two State model is that it’s actually falsifiable. Experiments can be crafted to test the hypothesis and exclude it or elevate it to a theory. The experiments would have to be carefully crafted by folks who are smarter than me. The Two State Model of reality however is very compelling. We have examples of math that describes the same thing in both a Wave and Solid State… Maxwell’s Equations describe the Wave State of electricity, while Ampere’s describe it in the Solid State. Maxwell’s are vectored, nonlocal, and potential while Amperes are linear, local, and mechanical. Moreover, Maxwell sidestepped the Ampere force between conductors. This suggests there is indeed a Wave and Solid State. Human understanding could be elevated to another level if this is true.
Sincerely,
John Pepin
