It seems to me, progressives personalize politics and so are subject to irrational behavior. Like the recent poll that shows, apparently, more than half of democrats think murdering Trump or destroying a Tesla dealership is a good thing. That’s literally crazy. Imagine the indignation if anyone openly avowed to murder any democrat President? Let alone if it was half the republican base. Insanity like that isn’t organic, it’s contrived, carefully packaged and sold to the unwitting. Because such fervor is helpful in political movements. A small group of active dedicated people is more powerful than millions of couch potatoes. So stirring up the base with talk of regicide, chaos and razing Tesla dealerships riles up the base. Unless such action is illegal… as it is for every other faction.
The progressive globalist faction’s monopoly on the media is beneficial. It not only abets the double standards but enforces them. First exposed by the Church commission as the mockingbird media, and now by Doge as the paid for press, the ability to shout down reason and promote absurdity has got them far. Imagine if a “conservative” government suspended elections, shut down opposing media outlets, and sent sappers to every meeting of their opponent? Like the EU corruptocrats and democrats do. The payola press would go into overtime vilifying republicans as a group for it. Even if the whole thing turns out to be a false flag. Like Jussie Smollett’s fake hate crime. Without the press pushing their personalized narrative, vilifying other factions and hiding their own crimes… the double standard couldn’t exist.
You can tell a zealot by their open double standards. Many revel in their doing exactly that which they attack others for. If confronted with their absurd belief that Trump should be murdered, they would have to rationalize it. To minimize the cognitive dissonance that must come from such crazy positions. Like the UK elites who are angry about religious intolerance, so they created a Sharia compliant police force, and arrested a Christian woman for silently praying in public. Another example is the court system stopping every move Trump makes, even long standing Presidential powers clearly enumerated in our Constitution… after giving Obama and Biden free passes. Making the courts themselves active zealots for the globalist progressive faction. Proved by their double standards.
A double standard is only possible when there’s a personal and therefor subjective grudge. The one who holds a thing is just for person A, but unjust for person B, can’t justify their opinion with logic so they rationalize it with emotion. Since emotion is the driving force, they become unbalanced and therefore capable of atrocities. Like burning down a Tesla dealership, pro life clinic or police station, to make a political point. Which is then narrated away by the payola press. Facilitating the double standard. Because even as Maxine Waters calls her army to be belligerent to opposing political figures trying to have a bite to eat… Sarah Palin was lambasted in the mockingbird media, for putting a target sight on Arizona in a political ad, when Gabby Gifford was shot by a madman.
In politics and in war the side that’s willing to go the furthest has an advantage. Unless checked by some outside force. Clausewitz said, in war, that force is outrage leading to the rules of war. In politics however, it’s the payola press that sets the standards. And if one standard is good, a double standard must be twice as good, so a double standard it is. Giving the progressives an advantage, they can riot and it’s called “mostly peaceful,” after destroying a city they get summary judgment for millions in damages from the city, and raze pro life clinics with impunity. Driven by zealotry that’s the result of personalizing politics. Their followers have no agency. The globalist progressive faction’s motto is, get them to believe in absurdity and they’ll commit atrocities for you.
