Limericks

Dear Friends,

Drinking Champagne and living large,

Elites meet in Davos a controlling sarge,

The world has issues,

So get out your tissues,

But the buck stops with the people in charge.

Give Reform UK a cheer and shout,

They’re making the UK’s corrupt elite pout,

It’s a smoky haze,

The UK is ablaze,

But when on fire its best to put it out.

A message to the women who are unwed,

Government replaced the man in your bed,

Husbands are cads,

Elinore Rigby’s lads,

And no kids you’ll have a cat instead.

Taxing and spending has become obscene,

Putting the nation under a crushing lien,

To the bottom pare,

There’s nothing there,

Turns out government is just a grift machine.

The left are calling us normal people the jerks,

Defending the indefensible with ironic smirks,

Waving victims away,

As the Bible does say,

You will know them by their works.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
