Limericks

Dear Friends,

Nothing progressives do is authentic,

Telling us normalcy is quite eccentric,

Mechanically they complain,

The truth is so very plain,

As they tell us saccharine is organic.

Cults are always seeking to convert,

Often run by a madman and pervert,

Dancing making soup,

Living in a group,

Appeals to many but not to an introvert.

Cognitive dissonance escalates and it’ll snap,

A way of thinking that becomes a mind trap,

It was hatred that drove,

Get the baby from the stove,

And wrong becomes right in a thunder clap.

The UK was once prosperous and took care,

Run by elites with power unlimited and unfair,

The elite can try reversal,

But one truth is universal,

If the car’s in a ditch the driver put it there.

Civilizations ever rise is virtue and fall in vice,

When the elite act strange better think twice,

Government dwells on our giving,

Instead of our standard of living,

Fretting over the inane like the dressing of mice.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
