Limericks

Dear Friends,

Is her life worth living is the question today,

Can we alleviate her suffering in any way,

The Golden Rule,

Reciprocation too,

Because in the end only she should have a say.

A hypocrite was Jean Jacques Rousseau,

Debauching and chanting liberty to and fro,

Ideals may not budge,

It’s outcomes we judge,

And despotism’s the fruit as history does show.

The left believes that evil is right,

Forging their ideas at midnight,

They’re mechanics all,

With machinations tall,

And connive by the warm glow of gaslight.

There once was a despot named Joe,

He told us all what we should know,

He said with a smile,

Go with me a mile,

And I’ll deliver you to utopia down below.

I’d like to be nice and not be unkind,

So I won’t say what’s on my mind,

Think of this though,

One thing we all know,

Is that Biden left a few snares behind.

Sincerely,

John Pepin
