On Endorsing Political Violence

Dear Friends,

It seems to me the moment a political faction endorses the use of violence, that faction has not only discredited itself but it’s put a target on its own back. That’s the epitome of stupidity. Such people should be disqualified for office simply due to lack of intelligence let alone their open malevolence. Show me a person who is absolute in their certainty and I’ll show you a fool. Moreover, someone so certain of the rightness of their actions they feel compelled to violence, is a dangerous fool. The faction then that engages in stochastic terrorism believes its atrocities are justified by their certainty, and violence is merely a tool to create justice. If their normalizing violence backfires, their control of the media won’t let anyone forget about the atrocity done to them… as it hides their atrocities.

We have been subjected to censorship, surveillance, and many nations have disarmed their citizens. A sure sign they “trust” us. My mother has a saying, “Never trust anyone who doesn’t trust you.” Which in this case would appear we shouldn’t trust nosy Nellies who censor and disarm us. Because no one ties your hands to make you safe, they tie your hands to make them safe from you. Such people will exclaim to the heavens how honest, virtuous, and doggone it, better people than the rest of us. And in their ivory tower they’ll believe every word of it. So is it such a big step to go from abusing all of our Constitutional Rights under color of law to killing people who disagree? Especially since most Democrats refused to condemn political violence… if they disagree with the victim’s politics.

Making disagreement on a political subject sufficient cause for public murder seems kind of stupid to me. Because those who make that argument are painting targets on themselves. Moreover, if they are assassinated, no one has the right to complain because they openly avowed, in the Congressional record… that political violence is acceptable. In essence, they are declaring open season on themselves. In your opinion, is there anything more stupid? Plus, to self-identify as being that stupid is itself stupid. Such actions are utterly discrediting, since who thinks giving stupid people absolute power could end in anything but tragedy? There’s a reason we don’t give loaded guns to five year old kids to play with in the backyard. So why give them nukes?

The faction that’s openly advocating for political violence believes they themselves are safe from it. Violence for thee, and peace for me, is their anthem. Their monopoly control of the media, NGOs, and bureaucracy give them a feeling of invulnerability. If anyone should even threaten one of them, the entire establishment will go into hyperdrive vilifying all conservatives. That same legacy media that claimed Jan. 6th was violent and the BLM riots were fiery but mostly peaceful can be trusted to give a sepia version of the news. Remember when Gabby Giffords was shot by a deranged leftist… the media attacked Sarah Palin for posting a target over Arizona instead of the attacker. This brings us to another reason endorsing violence is stupid, they aren’t safe from their own crazy constituency.

In Mien Kampf Hitler said he started the Brown shirts because the Bolsheviks were sending armed thugs to everyone else’s rallies and beating the attendees up. They were the precursor to ANTIFA. So no one else could have a political rally. So the Weimar government simply didn’t have rallies. His Brownshirts protected the attendees of his rallies though. But not without bloody street fights. The result was that his faction became the hegemonic faction at the time. This tells us that when violence is tolerated, the most violent get power. Clausewitz said that war is violence, and so the most violent have an advantage. Those advocating for political violence then should heed those words, because there may be people more violent than them only biding their time. Like in Germany in the 1930s.

Sincerely,
John Pepin
