Post Constitutional America

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, the United States has entered a post Constitutional era, similar to when Rome passed from a republic to a tyranny, America has thrown off her founding principles and replaced them with the authoritarian credo of a despot. All nations founded in liberty eventually follow this path. In all cases the path to authoritarianism is led by the elite, political, cultural and social. Sadly in every case the entering of an authoritarian era always leads the known world into a dark age. The distance in time between abandoning of the societal myth and the complete fall, depends on how tenacious the people are in holding onto their societal myth, divided by how corrupt the ruling class has become. The economic might of the nation is another factor crucial to the length of time a republic has, after it ceases to be a republic in fact, but in name only. In the case of Rome, the people held tightly to their societal myth, while in the US, the people have all but cast aside our societal myth. Given that fact, the time between entering our post constitutional era and the total collapse of our republic is probably very short indeed. When the US republic falls the world will be plunged into a dark age with horrors visited on mankind which could have never even been imagined before.

America is not any different than any of the republics that have come before. I like to use the example of Rome, because it was founded in liberty and collapsed in tyranny, making it a perfect example for the American experiment. The founding fathers looked to Rome for inspiration even considering using the consular system. That system was rejected in favor of the newer system of Constitutionalism. That Rome was a precursor and template for the American experiment is shown in our edifices that follow the Greek and Roman patterns. In fact even the very idea of a nation founded in liberty has it’s roots in the Greco-Roman tradition.

When Rome followed the republican path she saw an uninterrupted string of successes. No city state or empire could defeat her in war. The Roman economy was second to none and the people had a freedom of thought and action never before seen in humanity. Sparta was unbeatable when it followed the laws of Lycurgus. Once the Spartans tossed out Lycurgus’ laws they quickly collapsed and were subjugated by the Macedonians. Athens followed the laws of Draco then Solon. Once Pericles began using the ostracism as a political tool the fall of Athens to Sparta was at hand.

Athens, perhaps the most renowned democracy, gave rise to some of the most influential thinkers in human history culminating in Aristotle, who wrote Nicomachean Ethics. In which he enumerated the right forms of government and the wrong forms. His right forms were, monarchy, aristocracy and polity, and explained the wrong forms are perversions of the right forms, tyranny a perversion of monarchy, oligarchy a perversion of aristocracy and democracy the perversion of polity. He went on to argue a republic, or blending of the right forms, was the best possible form. That history was well known to the founding fathers of the American republic.

In all cases the elite led the people to ruin. My favorite story from the Spring and Summer Annuls, is the story of the Duke of Lu, who asked Confucius how he could get the people to be less greedy, not engage in adultery, and stop shirking their duty. Confucius answered by saying the Duke could stop doing these things himself and lead by example. Confucius and his disciples had to flee Lu state shortly after. The point of the story is that corruption flows from the top down, never from the bottom up. The people, busy with their own lives, have very little time to oversee the rulers and typically have no power over them anyway. So without consequences for villainy the rulers become ever more corrupt. The people see their leaders corruption and follow. Eventually, the society becomes a house of cards, so rotted it collapses at the first gust of wind.

Constitutionalism is supposed to strictly limit the ability of any government to become tyrannical. The concept was that a constitution is to be a contract between the governors and the governed, in which the people would give up some of their sovereignty to the government, for purposes of protecting the people’s property, lives and liberty. That concept has been evolved by the new class elite to mean something very different. Today constitutions are living breathing documents who’s meaning changes with the wants and avarice of the ruling elite. The words change meanings, the intent is ignored and the most absurd things are inferred into it. The US Constitution has become merely a pretty cloak to cover the emperor’s tyranny. Today the Constitution means whatever the elite claim it does.

The meaning of the US Constitution has been so bastardized it bears no resemblance to the original document at all. This started under Teddy Roosevelt, was accelerated by Woodrow Wilson, was cast in stone by Franklin Roosevelt and our Constitution has become utterly irrelevant under Barack Obama. Obama creates legislation by fiat, the legislative branch has become nothing more than a chatterbox that has given away all it’s real power to the bureaucracy, while the Judicial branch has overseen the transition to our post Constitutional era with delight. The amendments have been so perverted they mean nothing. Freedom of religion has given way to the state religion of atheism, the freedom to keep and bear arms has been so infringed the people have been effectively disarmed, the police have become militarized to the point of becoming a modern praetorian guard, the Tenth amendment is superfluous, since virtually all power has been elevated to the Federal government, the list goes on and on.

Yes the United States has abandoned our Constitution and most of the people could care less. The few who stand for our founding principles are attacked as extremists while those who openly avow to overthrow our system are mainstream. Our economy has been hollowed out so badly it takes over two hundred billion dollars printed a month, to keep our economic balloon inflated, our government has us in a perpetual state of war, our standard of living is diminishing at an ever faster rate, the President now has arbitrary rule, our universities have become mere indoctrination centers for Marxists and our entertainment elite parade a plethora of absurdities in front of us to keep us distracted. Elitist theory is adamant about one thing, great civilizations are never overthrown from without, they are always hollowed out by corruption from within… and once the fall comes, it is because the civilization is ripe for it.

ISIS and the Real Threat

Thursday, September 18th, 2014

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, before any problem can be effectively dealt with, first it must be identified. Many times a problem is so horrifying, even glancing at it is too scary, so the victim avoids identifying it until it is too late. Cancer can be like that. Often we don’t identify an issue, because we simply don’t want the problem to be what it is, we prefer to live in a fantasy, even though we know in our hearts what the real issue is. Drug addiction is an example. There are as many excuses for not looking at the core of a problem as there are problems for the human race to deal with. There is not one example however, where avoiding identifying a problem ever led to a solution, except when the willfully blind died from it.

The problem of Islamic fascism is one such difficulty. Governments around the world have turned a blind eye to it. They think if only they don’t mention it, and send European and American soldiers to die at the hands of ISIS, Al Qeda, Boko Haram or any of the other incarnations of Islamic fascism, the problem will go away. Our leaders believe that if they outlaw Christianity in Europe and the Usand ignore the atrocities of Islam the Islamic fascists will like us and stop killing us. Such thinking is wishful blindness at best showing a total lack of understanding of Islamic fascism and is traitorous at worst.

History explains what Islamic fascism is. The history of Islam is one of conquest. Arabia was full of Christians, Jews and pagans when Mohamed was born. When he died there were only Muslims, everyone else had been converted or killed. Even today all other religions other than Islam are outlawed in Saudi Arabia. Those who hold Mass in their own homes are regularly raided, the worshipers jailed and executed. Some allies eh?

North Africa, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and Turkey were all Christian lands until the Islamic fascists conquered them in their crusades against Christianity. As the Muslims conquered more land they would raise the churches, melt the church bells down and make them into cannons, to use against the Christians. The bodies of the saints were dug up and fed to the dogs. Christian women were taken from their families, forced to convert to Islam, and sold.

Byzantine couldn’t be conquered until a Christian Hungarian Orban sold high power cannon technology to the Muslims. He built giant cannons to decimate the walls of Constantinople. Those cannon, that couldn’t have been built by any Muslim, opened the city to the invaders. Once the walls were down, the Muslims rushed in, taking anyone they came upon as slaves. The Convent was raided, the Nuns raped and sold into sex slavery. The city’s name was changed from Constantinople to Istanbul, the greatest Christian church at the time, Hagia Sophia, was converted to a Mosque and everyone forcibly converted to Islam.

The much feared Turkish Janissaries were Christian boys who had been given to the Muslims as part of the Jizya tax on Christian nations, so the Muslims would leave those Christian nations who gave their own children alone. Those boys who were pretty were sent to pedophilia to be molested, while the others were converted and trained to fight, against their own families and countrymen. The story of Dracula comes from this time.

He and his brother were sent as tribute to the Muslims. Vlad’s brother was pretty and so went to a pedophilia while Vlad was ugly so was to be a Janissary. Vlad refused to convert and so was tortured unmercifully. After years of torture Vlad escaped and went to his native Romania where he seized the throne. Upon getting power Vlad stopped sending boys to be molested or used against their own families. The Muslims immediately invaded. Vlad met them, defeated them and impaled the Muslim army, leaving a forest of impaled men on the boarder as a warning to future invaders. The next wave of invaders met the same fate. It didn’t take long before the invasions stopped and Europe was protected in the East.

The first war the United States ever fought on foreign soil was against Muslims to stop them taking American ships at sea and enslaving the sailors. When the war was over and the US had won, those sailors who had converted to Islam, wanted to return home but were executed, because once you convert to Islam converting out is death. This is just a small portion of the history of the crusades of Islam against Christianity but it shows the intent of the adherents to Mohamed’s religion. Every Muslim ever taught in any Medrassa knows this history well. Very very few Christians know any of it at all, and what we are taught is watered down with all the gory parts left out, so as not to offend Mulsims. ISIS is doing exactly what Mohamed called all good Muslims to do, strike at the necks of the unbelievers, terrorize us and rape our women as punishment for our unbelief. Today it is called sexual Jihad.

This is what we are fighting, what we have been fighting for fifteen hundred years, and will fight until the last days. It is not that individual Muslims are bad or that they should be denigrated, it is that we must open our eyes to the grim reality of what Islam truly is. When a political leader makes the absurd claim that ISIS is not Islamic, it is because they are too afraid to look at the real problem, they are stupidly ignorant or they are complicit, there is no other possibility, all of which in a sane world would disqualify them to do anything other than swing a mop at McDonalds. A cancer must be cut out. Those that seek to expand Islam at the point of a sword must be exterminated, with extreme prejudice as an example, to limit future wars. Anything less is to invite more bloodshed, more rapes, more children’s lives ruined and more terror. To remain ignorant to a potential mortal threat is to invite disaster… so why do you suppose our leaders are intentionally keeping us blind to it?

Banghazi and the Fall of America

Thursday, May 9th, 2013

Dear Friends,

It seems to me, if my government lies to me it is called politics, but if I lie to my government, it is a felony. I am held to a higher standard of action than government officials. When officials who can lie to the public with no repercussions, they have no incentive to tell the truth, especially when the truth is embarrassing or politically inconvenient. We, on the other hand, must tell the whole truth whenever we are questioned by our government, else we face heavy sanctions including jail, no matter how embarrassing, inconvenient or self incriminating. Citizens have a relationship with the government. Whenever one party to a relationship abuses the other, without consequence, the relationship is degrading. Lying is a form of abuse. When the relationship is a marital one, we have a case of spousal abuse, when the relationship is economic, we have a case of fraud or slavery, when the relationship is political, we have a case of oppression.

Thomas Jefferson said, “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” This simply means when government can do anything it pleases, because it has no fear of the reaction of the people, that government has no limit on it’s actions. When government fears the reaction of the people those actions are limited by the will of the people. Government that has no limit on it’s actions is the definition of despotic. The explanation of liberty is the limit on the actions of the government by the will of the people. Government that can lie to the people, about the most important debates of the day without consequence, is showing it has no fear of the people, but when the people are jailed for far less, we clearly have reason to fear our government… This, by Jefferson’s own statement, is tyranny.

Benghazi is a perfect example of this. As it has become clear, the lying tour of the media by Susan Rice was total fiction, told without consequence to the American people, to protect the President’s reelection. The President was derelict in his duty, not only to protect those in his staff, but when they came under attack he told the military to stand down. The attack went on for nine hours, and we are lied to again, that the military could not get assets into the area soon enough to make a difference. Now it has come to light that there were military assets available but were told to stand down. Had the few brave Navy Seals followed that order by the President’s staff, every man and woman in that CIA house, would have died in the attack. Abusing whistle blowers is only icing on the cake. The Congressional hearing will turn out to be mere window dressing, furthering the cover up and giving it legitimacy, the President will again get away with something, that if you or I did we would go to jail for.

The Fast and Furious cover up is another egregious example. Eric Holder has been proven to have lied to Congress about it, with no real repercussion, other than a toothless contempt citation. President Obama claimed he had no knowledge of the operation, that intentionally put guns in the hands of Mexican drug lords, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Mexican citizens and at least one American. Which the president then exploited to undermine the Second Amendment until the truth came out. When Congress tried to get documents on it the President used executive privilege. Since Executive privilege can only be used in cases of the president’s personal interactions with his staff, it’s use proves Obama had knowledge of the operation, else the use of executive privilege is itself a lie without consequence.

The complete disconnect began when Al Gore was caught blatantly violating Campaign finance laws, and his reply was, “There is no over riding legal authority…” Bill Clinton was praised by the unbiased media for lying. We were told that everyone lies about sex and that lies are a helpful social mechanism to protect hurt feelings. This puts the beginning of the down fall around 1992. So, what we have, is a government in America that is abusive, lies without consequence and is therefore, by Thomas Jefferson’s definition, tyrannical. Our government seeks to further water down the ability of the American citizenry to force our will on our government, by making millions of people, who have no real stake in the country… voters, by amnesty. The American people are lulled to sleep by the media that engage in the old sophist tactic, of changing the subject, whenever their guy gets in trouble. We are at the same place that Rome was during the reign of August Caesar. The department of Homeland security is the praetorian guard in all but name, and we pile on, pillorying anyone who rings the alarm bell.

Rome was a republic for 900 years before it became a tyranny, and was a tyranny for 150 years. Therefore, we can estimate Rome’s fall to be 17% of the republican era. America was a republic for 200 years. Using the same number, 17%, we can estimate America’s total collapse to be 34 years or so from 1992, which puts it around 2026… Time is running short and the trend is accelerating. Unless we do something about it. Demand from you representative a special prosecutor to look into Benghazi and Fast and Furious… Else, participate in the destruction of liberty in the World, perhaps for generations, what kind of villain does that make us for allowing it to happen?

Sincerely,

John Pepin
